"A piece created using the @SequentialLLC Prophet-10 and CP-88. Ambient work where a gentle electronic harmony is overlaid with lo-fi piano tones.
The CP-88's sound is processed with @ChaseBlissAudio Lossy and the GENERATION LOSS MK2 to achieve a lo-fi character, and reverb is applied using @gfisys SPECULAR TEMPUS.
The Prophet-10 features a longer attack and release, with blueSky reverb applied to its sound."

It's been a few years since I made Patches with REPRO, which I think is one of the best Software Synths out there to create "Analog" style Sounds and beyond. As you can see, I have a Prophet 10 and I can get the sounds so close, it's really quite astounding.
I'm back with another 100 Patches, covering Pads & Motion, Bass & Lead, Strings & Keys and a whole lot more. As usual, all 100 Patches are demonstrated over 4 Videos - This the 2nd Video.
Requires - Repro 1.1.3 (revision 16797) and will only work on u-he REPRO 5 and not the Sequential Prophet 5/10.

"To celebrate the release of the first set of Polyphonic modules, the Vortex6, Octogain, Octostages, Octopus, Octovert, and the Polytip Patch Cables—we invited Simone Miceli to join Piero Fragola in his home studio in Florence, Italy, to compose a song. This piece demonstrates how a violin, vocals, and these new Eurorack modules work together to create music.
Except for the vocals and violin, which were recorded separately, all synth voices were captured in a single take from the system in the video. The leading sound in the track is the Vortex6, with all six voices gliding seamlessly between notes.
In a polyphonic synthesizer, we know that the key building blocks like oscillators, filters, and LFOs are hard-wired under the hood of the synth. In modular poly, we open up all the possibilities that modular synthesis provides--IN POLY!

"Born out of collaboration between PWM and the late Chris Huggett, Mantis draws from the legacy of synthesizers like the Wasp and OSCar, but with modern refinements and performance. Blending sounds and techniques built over the years designing instruments for the likes of EDP and Novation, Huggett's final designs went into Mantis, and through some touch-up work and adding powerful MIDI capabilities, PWM brought Mantis to market to honor Huggett's legacy.
As a duophonic instrument, Mantis contains two independent voices—beginning with digital oscillators that are then processed through an entirely analog signal path, alongside a digital effects section. Mantis features mathematically-generated oscillators, running on their own DSP chip for maximum performance and quality. There are two oscillators per voice, plus a sub-oscillator, meaning that you can dial in a blended variety of tones as you see fit.
Possibly the star of the show on Mantis is the unique VCF design, utilizing a unique configuration devised by Huggett. Based on SSI2164 VCA chips, the multi-mode filters in each voice may be controlled simultaneously in series or parallel configurations, with a width control similar to what was found on the OSCar.
