Song A Day #8 (0-coast + Empress Reverb)
Published on Jan 8, 2017 Steven Blum
"Every sound you hear is made using these instruments by Keith McMillen (QuNexus & K-Mix), Make Noise, and Empress Effects. In addition a Korg SQ-1 is used for a couple of the patterns. It's about 20 tracks of the 0-coast layered, this is just the last one I added. It's a fast 7-beat rhythm that remains constant throughout.
This is part of my project to record a piece every day for the month of January using only what you see here and a laptop. This is my first successful attempt at doing a video, but you can listen to the rest on my soundcloud if you're interested.

Days of Delay at Golden Pudel Club
Published on Nov 9, 2015 Cyrus Ashrafi
Interesting seeing the Moog Theremin used to trigger notes.
"Days of Delay live at the Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg, July 2015.
The stage was very narrow and therefore the equipment radically reduced: Moog Theremin (also as a controller to trigger other synths), QuNexus Keyboard, Korg MS20 mini, Ableton Live, Arturia Beatstep, Korg PadKontrol, iPad Air with Lemur and Borderlands.
Enlighted by Boris Frentzel-Beyme (lumidium.org) and filmed by Juergen Martin Hermann.

If you missed the raindrops video posted earlier here, it's back up now. I realized the lead line reminded me of another piece as well.

Interesting side note: the last person in the video is Jaron Lanier, a pioneer of VR. Via Wikipedia:
"Jaron Zepel Lanier (/ˈdʒɛərᵻn lᵻˈnɪər/, born May 3, 1960) is an American computer philosophy writer, computer scientist, visual artist, and composer of classical music. A pioneer in the field of virtual reality (a term he is credited with popularizing[citation needed]), Lanier and Thomas G. Zimmerman left Atari in 1985 to found VPL Research, Inc., the first company to sell VR goggles and gloves. In the late 1990s, Lanier worked on applications for Internet2, and in the 2000s, he was a visiting scholar at Silicon Graphics and various universities. From 2006 he began to work at Microsoft, and from 2009 forward he works at Microsoft Research as Interdisciplinary Scientist.[2]"

Loop Study: Glompin & Bath
Loop Study: Glompin from Bryan Noll on Vimeo.
"Performed live on a modular synthesizer.
http://soundcloud.com/fourhexagons/glompin
Used QuNexus to play Rings into Disting with Ping Pong Delay into 4ms Dual Looping Delay with Clouds running Oliverb (Clouds Parasites) in the FX loop of Rosie. Rings is modulated by Just Friends, which is modulated by Batumi. Tempi is triggering René, which is glomping Tides as a bass.
Recorded straight to 2-track in Ableton with no additional processing.
Cat stayed on the floor this time, but wanted to glomp some bass."
Loop Study: Bath from Bryan Noll on Vimeo.
"Loop recorded with 4ms Dual Looping Delay (in stereo, using both channels), then run through Clouds and recorded straight to 2-track.
Dedicated to Sean Julian for traveling light."
Follow-up to Beebar.

She Moved From Belfast
Published on Jul 13, 2016 Trübüla
"Another Make Noise System Cartesian + Moog Mother 32 Patch.
Inspired by a couple of live improvisation I've recorded this ambitious piece of noise live with my Zoom H4n ...
The melody played on the QuNexus is in some way Simple Minds' 'Belfast Child'' (my wife remind me that this is an irish folk song called "She move throught fairy")
Delay and Reverb provided by Ableton Live."

Rheyne - Polymothers (3-voice Moog Mother-32 w/ KMI QuNexus)
Published on May 22, 2016 Rheyne
"A demonstration of how 'Channel Rotation' on a KMI QuNexus can be used to turn multiple mono synths into one polyphonic synth.
With nothing connected to the VC MIX inputs on the Mothers, the VC MIX output and some multiples are controlling all three filters with one knob. The MIDI DIN outputs of an iConnectMIDI4+ are triggering the synths on three MIDI channels. MIDI and audio loops are recorded with Ableton Live. Reverb is also from Ableton.
