The Solarfaze from Vongon is a stereo 3-band saturator and detune/chorus pedal that gives you exacting control over the frequency landscape of your signal. Whether you're adding a bit of undulatory warmth and saturation or assaulting the frequency spectra of your choice, Solarfaze as you covered, often surprising you with its tonal complexity. The heart of the pedal is a 3-band Bass, Mid, and Treble saturation mixer with each section offering three levels of gain: Soft, Boost, and Hard. Each band can be finetuned to one of five different frequencies, making this pedal as versatile as you are.
The Detune section offers a simple interface for adding movement and interest to your signal, affecting the stereo field, as well for a satisfying binaural experience. Adjust the Amount and Mix to your taste and turn up the Envelope control for dynamic expression that is based on your playing. Size can be adjusted as well to create a smoother or tighter detune effect. Other features include a built-in Noise Gate and an effect rerouting option. Indeed, the Solarfaze is a wonderful addition to the already incredibly Vongon lineup and is sure to find a use in any pedalboard.
SOLARFAZE FEATURES
Stereo multi-band saturator and chorus
Soft-clipping waveshapers for smooth transition from subtle warmth to heavy breakup

Each band has 5 different frequency options
Stereo detune chorus with independent left/right pitch shifts
Envelope modulation of detune amount for dynamic stereo animation

Built-in Noise Gate with adjustable threshold
MIDI Input for parameter control and 9 preset storage

TRIAD Drone Synth Live Performance
video upload by Andre Bregegere
"This video documents an improvised performance featuring the Triad, a compact drone synth (and much more!) from UK-based synth designer/manufacturer @decadebridge, processed live through the Paragraphs II, a low-pass filter from @vongonelectronics , and through a stereo reverb/delay send (off camera). The recording was then lightly mixed and mastered in Pro Tools. Enjoy!"

Vongon Replay - Polyphonic Synthesizer!
video upload by The Unperson
"In today's video I am exploring the Vongon Replay polyphonic synthesizer. Inspired by classic instruments such as the Roland Juno and the Korg PolySix, Replay is a 6 voice digital poly synth with a pleasantly familiar interface. The simplicity of the the design and the quality of the oscillators and filter makes sound design a very enjoyable experience. I found it's one of those synths that can take you on a journey and I can see it being a regular player in my music life. I am a pretty big fan of this thing! Exploring the Vongon Replay with... another Vongon Replay.
00:00 - Galloping and ghosts
02:34 - Solo, dry then wet
04:18 - Solo, cascading weird arp
05:07 - Solo, sentimental nostalgia
07:15 - High arp, low chords
10:49 - Slow arp, bass notes
15:28 - Rolling bassline, major-minor
I bought a Replay with my own money, a year or so ago. I find it useful to have around, and to travel with: it's small, what-you-see-is-what-you-get, sounds good, has a keyboard, and generally fits into a variety of setups.
Recently, MAS Distribution asked me if they could send over the new black Replay for me to play with. It's the exact same synth, but I thought it might be fun to get two Replays up on the table and just explore.
So that's what this is: seven improvisations or written-on-the-spot ideas using two Replays. For effects, I tried out the Ultrasheer (Vongon's reverb/vibrato combo) and my trusty Chroma Console (for colour/saturation/delay). The performance was recorded live to a stereo output with extremely gentle EQ & compression, plus limiting on the master.
I think it showcases why I like this synth: you sit down and noodle on it and you come up with ideas. It evokes nostalgic, sentimental sounds that are uncomplicated but pretty. I know there's a whole world of internet discourse about this synth, but ultimately what matters to me is how something works as an instrument. I think the Replay does its job pretty well.
Thanks for listening."

This hammer is actually a synth
video upload by Emily Hopkins
EF118 Vulcan's Hammer
video upload by electrofaustus
"This device is an accelerometer-controlled oscillator. It works by reading the position along a 180-degree x-axis and translating to a frequency. In the fully back position, the oscillator is at its lowest note – roughly 100hz (or D3 on the musical scale). As you rotate the hammer forward, pitch increases. In this position, the frequency is roughly 2000hz (or B6 on the musical scale). That’s about a 4-octave range. The controls are straightforward: A red push button on/off switch and a knob to control volume. The ¼ inch audio output jack is located at the bottom of the handle. It’s powered by 3 AAA batteries located inside the enclosure that come included in the unit when purchased. They can be easily replaced by unscrewing the base. Vulcan’s Hammer goes on sale today and retails for $200"
Check with dealers on the right for availability.
"Like the Roman God Vulcan, what if you could generate immortal oscillations from a mighty hammer? Ponder no more. Vulcan’s Hammer by Electro-Faustus allows you to call to the Gods by simply rotating the device along a 180 degree field. Note range is roughly 100Hz (D3) to 2000Hz (B6). That’s almost 4 octaves! Powered by 3 AAA batteries.
*Like all of our devices, the Vulcan’s Hammer is noisy and glitchy by design. Have fun with it!"

NAMM 2025: Vongon's Replay and Pedals
video upload by sonicstate
"At NAMM 2025, we caught up with Ryan from Vongon, who gave us a comprehensive look at theircomplete range of pedals and instruments. We started with the *Replay*, a polyphonic synthesizer that mimicked the sounds of classic Roland Juno and Korg Polysix models. It featured a mechanical keybed with hot-swap sockets, allowing you to customize the feel of the keys. Although digital, it aimed to deliver an analog sound. The Replay included an arpeggiator with keyed and latch modes and offered a secret menu with additional controls accessible via an alt button or a web application.
Ryan also demonstrated Vongon's pedal lineup, including the Poly Phrase*, which functioned as both a delay and looper with MIDI capabilities. The *Paragraphs 2 pedal offered a stereo low-pass filter optimal for both guitars and synths, while the Ultrasheer provided a lexicon-style hall reverb coupled with a switchable vibrato effect. Each product exemplified Vongon's dedication to quality, being handcrafted in California."

Artist Picks: Best Music Gear of 2024 (Part 2)
video upload by Perfect Circuit

"2024 is soon drawing to a close—so, we're taking a look back at the year, and taking account of all of the weird and wonderful instruments that gave us some inspiration this year. Synthesizers, drum machines, and Eurorack modules to samplers and effects, this year had no shortage of inspiring instruments.
So, we reached out to some of our friends and content creators to fill us in on their year, asking one simple question: what was the coolest piece of gear YOU got this year? For some, that meant brand-new releases, but for others, it meant sitting down and digging into classic instruments.
In this video, we hear from:
0:05 Emily Hopkins on the Expressive E Osmose + Vongon Replay
3:36 The Midlife Synthesist on the Arturia Polybrute 12
5:36 Son Wu on the Elektron Octatrack
10:38 Monotrail on the ADDAC507 Random Bézier Waves
13:32 Surco on the Shakmat Battering Ram + OXI Meta

Creating Lofi Ambient Soundscapes with The Vongon Replay | First Impressions
video upload by Jason Mays
"It’s not often that I get to play synth for a video. Since I love creating lofi ambient soundscapes reminiscent of the Blade Runner and Stranger Things soundtracks, I wanted to find an easy-to-use analog synth that could help me achieve those lush, spacious sounds. So, I reached out to my friends at @MASDistro to try out the Vongon Replay. Here are the results of my efforts—overall, I think this is a fantastic creative tool that could add a lot for anyone looking for that extra spark in their workflow."
