"With the right firmware mod (that’s right – no mysterious hacky soldered in dials) for old board Roland EM-101 machines, the EM-101 is no longer a preset machine. Often billed as a cutdown Juno 106 restricted to just 24 presets, this box previously had some interesting uses but didn’t really deliver as an anlogue beast in my arsenal. It was too restricted. Until now. Due to the amazing work by Ryan (Plutoniq), the EM-101 has been give a new lease of life and transformed into a strong addition to my music making and since the parameters can now be controlled over midi CC, I have written an editor to load in presets from the Juno 106 and MKS-7, extended to a new Roland EM-101 format with naming and created a preset saving system and librarian for patch recall. It’s not a Juno 106 but it is a very nice sounding a machine with it’s own character sharing a lot of parallels. If I have understood correctly (there could be inaccuracies!), it has a M5232RS tone generator chip with 36 (I think) waveforms that are beautifully shaped by Roland analogue fitters. A good example is the IR3109 VCF filter, found in a the Jupiter 8 or M5241L VCA found in the MKS-70. If you look at the chip list, there are lots of shared electronics that overlap between Junos, Juipter and other quality Roland gear of it’s time, giving it character. Notably, the MN3009 and MN3101 chorus chips shared by the Juno 106 chorus. It has interesting analogue effects on board but the chorus particularly shines due to the much greater CC control (as you can see from the screenshot). That chorus is gorgous, adds that analogue sheen and processing. I spent last night building up a preset bank for the EM-101 to release with the editor (and check bank functionality) and got lost inside this little beauty."

"🌌 Analog Flow is a collection of 64 arp presets for the Behringer UB-Xa analog synthesizer. The bank covers a wide range of arpeggio timbres: warm, deep, dreamy, soft, noisy, bright, dark, distorted, cold, metallic. You can also disable the arpeggio mode and get a collection of diverse plucks. Since the UB-Xa is a recreation of a vintage classic, this collection embraces its retro character—highlighting detuning, subtle noise, and analog warmth to evoke the sonic aesthetics of the 70s and 80s. The patches are infused with nostalgic charm and are perfect for adding that vintage soul to your tracks.
📼 One of the unique features of the UB-Xa is its Atrophy profiles—emulations of various stages of vintage wear and drift. All presets and audio demos were created using the default Profile 1, but you're encouraged to explore them with other profiles to discover variations in brightness, tuning, and stereo width. This adds another layer of expression and depth to the sounds.
🎛 Each preset is performance-ready, with velocity sensitivity and ModWheel assignments mapped for expressive control. The ModWheel introduces additional modulations — such as brightness or movement — offering creative flexibility for both studio production and live performance.

"Obscured Waves is a collection of 64 presets for Waldorf Blofeld that explores the darker, vintage-inspired side of sound design. The bank is built around the idea of imperfection—gritty, lo-fi textures combined with constantly shifting timbres created through rich modulation. These sounds are alive, expressive, and full of character, bringing a distinctive atmosphere to any track, performance, or video production.
🎛 The patches include dozens of modulations, adding motion and variation. Velocity sensitivity and ModWheel assignments are mapped for expressive control, making each sound performance-friendly. ModWheel adds modulations — brightening the sound, introducing vibrato, shifting tone, or adding extra movement for dynamic performance.
🔮 What sets Obscured Waves apart is its fusion of experimental tones and playable musical textures. Whether you’re crafting ambient, techno, cinematic, IDM, industrial, drum and bass, retrowave, or any style that leans into a dark atmospheric or moodier aesthetic, this soundset will give your music depth and identity.
🧿 Each preset was meticulously designed to deliver a tactile, emotional experience. Techniques such as noise layering, distortion, FM, and vintage tape emulation were used to evoke an analog character from this digital instrument. The result is a visceral set of sounds that feel aged, nostalgic, and imperfect—in all the right ways.
💡 Technical Information. How to import/upload presets. The presets are compatible with hardware Blofeld versions: desktop and keyboard; and with the official Blofeld VST Plugin. Make sure you are using the latest hardware firmware and vst-plugin versions.

In 1975, Tom Oberheim revolutionised synthesiser design with the original TVS – Two Voice Synthesizer. By combining two SEMs and a keyboard, he introduced true duophony to the world—enabling musicians to play two independent voices simultaneously and explore harmonically rich, evolving soundscapes. It was a bold step forward, embraced by visionaries including Martin Gore, Adrian Utley, Peter Baumann, Lorn, The Prodigy, and Nils Frahm.
Decades later, the TVS Pro modernised that vision, adding a built-in sequencer, extended modulation, and refined controls—all while staying true to its unmistakable sonic DNA.
Now, with the GForce Oberheim TVS Pro plugin, this landmark instrument enters a new era. Developed in collaboration with Oberheim, this recreation captures not only the depth, warmth and character of the original, but also the spirit of innovation that made it extraordinary.

"Amazing analog sounds that only digital can provide
Inspired by the legendary KORG Mono/Poly, the new KORG multi/poly analog modeling synthesizer delivers breathtaking analog sounds combined with extraordinary digital power and flexibility.
The original Mono/Poly boasted an unusually rich sound from its four stacked oscillators, as well as unique, experimental features like flexible x-mod and sync routing and round-robin oscillator triggering. Previously only attainable in large modular systems, the Mono/Poly delivered these features in a compact, user-friendly instrument.
"Dreamy Patterns is a collection of 64 Presets + Sequences for Moog Subsequent 37 and Sub 37. The timbres cover a wide range of tones: mild and aggressive, deep and bright, soft and punchy. Each preset contains a sequence with Pitch, Velocity, and Modulation lanes. Some patterns are made in Major scale, others - in Minor. The collection also includes the sequences with odd lengths: 23, 18, etc... They create polymetric/polyrhythmic feel.
The presets are suitable for different genres like Retrowave, Synthwave, Lounge, Downtempo, Chill Out, House, Progressive, Deep, Trance, Cinematic, Breaks, etc.
The pack also includes a folder with all sequences saved separately from the presets. You may use the sequences with any other timbres: choose/make a preset, go to the 'Sequencer' tab, and push 'Load'.
ModWheel is set in all patches, it adds brightness, changes the tone, or increases the length of notes. Patches' volume levels are set close to each other, you won't get sudden volume spikes or drops while switching the timbres.
You may use the sequences as they are, or take them as a starting point for further editing and tweaking. Try different Rates/Time Divisions, including Triplet and Dots; try changing the length of a sequence from start or/and from end; try shifting the start point; try adding Octaves, try playing with Forward/Backward and Invert modes, or simply change steps' values: Pitch, Modulation, Modulation destination. Subsequent 37 gives nice performance tools, and you can get plenty of variations just with one sequence.
I recommend syncing the synth to some external beat to get a proper impression of the sequences.
