The Voltage Multistage 16 is no longer based on a CMOS counter core, but is built around discrete transistor stages, which enables gate inputs on each stage. This allows external gates to jump it to any stage, multiple loops and sequences that start at one stage and then enter into a loop later.

5. Crosspatch Triggerpad Updates - Launchpad Sequencer - Bristronica 25

Mitja tells us the latest news about his module at this year's Machina Bristonica. The Triggerpad module converts your Launchpad into a standalone Eurorack. This allows you to repurpose an older Launchpad that might be gathering dust for your Eurorack system. The workflow is super simple and hands-on. You have features such as polymeter per track, swing and micro steps at your fingertips. The new features are BPM modulation and triplets.

6. UDO Audio DMNO 8-voice 2-part multitimbral - Bristonica 25

We have just had the opportunity to take a first look at the new, innovative synth from UDO Audio: the DMNO.

"In this video you'll find useful information about how the frequency bands of the Baxandall EQ behave and what the channel offsets of this Eurorack module do.

Distresañ has three main frequency knobs (in the center of the module) which alter both audio channels evenly. For more complex use cases Distresañ offers an offset knob per band per channel (left and right of the module).

"Eurorack FX in Gameboy style cartridges that are hot swappable into a module with CV controlled parameters and a four band fully CV controlled EQ … YES PLEASE, WHAT A CONCEPT!

Beyond the obvious nostalgia hit of the Gameboy cartridges I’ve long been a fan of swappable FX platforms that allow a module to be used in a wider range of patches. FX BOY comes with 7 ‘founders pack’ cartridges with the Making Sound Machines Analog Wavefolder, FEEDBACK modules Flanger, XOR Electronics Delay & Granular FX, Instruo microPhaser, Befaco TRASH distortion, TouellSkouarn Noise & Feedback Fuzz and Tesseract Modular AVMA downsampled & ring modulator. It’s a wide range of FX all with two CV controlled parameters, plus CV over dry wet for parallel blends and modulation.

In this video I chose to give each cartridge it’s own patch, letting them shine on different patches with different use cases, as that’s how I’ll end up using the module going forward. However each cartridge easily warrants it’s own demo video going through a range of patches as these circuits have proven to be great on a range of sources. So I’m already thinking about future videos … leave a comment about what you’d like to see more of.

FX BOY is an open source platform for people to develop their own cartridge circuit FX, so who knows where this will go, whether Befaco release more cards, companies sell them on their own or whether it spawns some interest DIY ideas along the way."

Input and output, plus two controls for cutoff and resonance as well as a CV input for the filter cutoff frequency make you ready to rock with this little beauty that is definitely no table horn (we guarantee!). The 10th edition of SynthFest France strikes hard, with Joachim Garraud in concert, Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 9 pm. The French producer and artist will be back in Nantes, his hometown, for this exceptional evening. Joachim Garraud will present a preview of the film "Modular California Vibes", a documentary on electronic music creation on board his solar mobile studio where 4 producers will record 4 original tracks in 4 unusual places during 4 days, thanks to the sun. "Short Audio Demo of the Strakal Silisiom from TouellSkouarn.

The two fuzzes share the same controls. The Fuzzes and EQ are slightly differents (great for strereo). You can output the Stereo signal by plugin a stereo cable or you can output a mono signal : Fuzz1 - clock wise or Fuzz2 - counterclock wise, or a mix of the 2 fuzzes by turning the morphing pot.

Very characteristic for the module´s sound if the feedback that is coupled to the Fuzz. The more fuzz, the more feedback - the Strakal Silisiom can get pretty nasty and it screams a lot at high fuzz settings and low input level. The fuzz amount can be voltage controlled, morphing also. Can be use as a mono Dual fuzz or a mono input / Stereo output Fuzz."
