"'overtones' is a script for Monome Norns I'm building for myself. It's an additive synth that can generate evolving soundscapes and other sounds. I'm trying to make it easy to program and yet versatile.

I have never been programming before so this is probably an inefficient and ugly piece of code. I admit that I relied a lot on ChatGPT but the script is working, which is most important to me.

Piano (CP-88): Recorded in two signal paths: the dry output and one processed through @HologramElectronics MICROCOSM with the HAZE effect.

OP-1 field: Performing synth layers, sent through a @strymon TIMELINE delay with the REPEATS parameter raised for long trails.

Wavestick: Processed by @KORG_INC NTS-3 reverb; pitch and volume are manually varied during performance.

Bell (kane): Captured with a RODE NT-4 and given additional reverb in the DAW."

"Here’s a poor condition, non-functioning Roland TR-909 for parts or repair. Our tech says he’s confident he can repair it because he’s amazing and can fix just about anything. However, we pay him by the hour and projects like this tend to take a long time and cost a lot, and in the end, even if we made it look like new on the outside, there’s a cracked circuit board etc inside that wont look so good even after repair, so the end result would be a 909 that wouldn’t be up to our high standards. So, we have decided to sell it broken and strictly as is. Please take a good look at the photos to see what’s included and what’s not - theres nothing more and nothing less than whats shown. In recent years, there have been 909 clones on the market that reportedly use compatible parts one can buy to fix real vintage 909s. Please research this yourself if you’re considering buying this 909 and have the skills required to tackle this project as we dont want you to be disappointed. We also need to make it clear that there are no guarantees whatsoever, warranties, refunds or returns. We don’t know if you have the skills or access to the parts required to repair it. For the right person who enjoys fixing gear as a hobby and is really good at it, this may be a fun project. If it fails to sell, we will keep it and may eventually refurb it for use in an incredible public access vintage synth studio we may one day open here in NYC. Thanks for reading."
