Elsita - drum module and Dynacord

via this auction
"ELSITA - a true analog drum module from Russia, which can give You unique sound close to Kraftwerk, early Jean Michelle Jarre and other electronic classics. It's used, though fully operational, equiped with jack inputs compatibile with any triggers.

Not only is it vintage and extraordinary, but also comes with 4 Dynacord vintage drum pads (with jack inputs) - one snare and three toms.

More technical specifitations here: http://ruskeys.net/eng/base/elsita.php

It's powered with European voltage, but of course it will work in USA with a suitable power converter."

"Yamaha SHS-200, a fantastic 1988 Keytar!
Similar to the more common SHS-10 model, but has more keys, more sounds, twin speakers for stereo sound and is just generally more robust."

Spectrasonics updates Omnisphere for Eigenharp!

"Arguably the most important feature of the Eigenharp are the touch3D keys, which respond to pressure, velocity, roll and yaw. Spectrasonics have added new support for the kind of multi-channel midi the Eigenharp can produce - which means you can now indepedently pitch bend, distort and generally mess around with Omnisphere's fantastic sounds in note-by-note polyphonic glory."

"This is the first live improvisational recording on The Deathlehem Machine #11. I had set up 3 different sequences to switch between as well as a single oscillator droning in the background. It's a short recording at just under 10 minutes for the entire video.
Sequences are built from combinations of:
2 x Music From Outer Space 16 step sequencers
2 x 4015 4 BIT Shift Registers
4 inputs of an 8 BIT R-2R DAC
2 x Attack Decay envelope generators
Various standard modular synthesizer modules burbling away.

The only effect used is the longest reverb that I were able to obtain from my TC Electronics M300 Reverb/Delay effects unit.

I hope you enjoy. :)"

The visuals were taken with my hand held video camera of different presets of the Aeon Platinum iTunes visualizer.....reflections off the screen show of my front door to my studio, couldn't get that out.

BEAT BURNER by CODE AUDIO

YouTube via UPROAR24 | February 21, 2011 |

"lee stacey's beatburner gives your beats a new start by adding filters and waveshapers from adding bassy backgrounds, slightly metalic sounds to bone crunching to almost electric guitars screaming sound at exreme levels and is another freeware classic that seems to have dimmed from the spot light in recent years. but hopefully now its back on the map where it belongs.
the more extreme setting can be heard in this video around the five minute mark. where i just click the random button and add different wave samples from the cm classics sample collection. hopefully this video give you an idea of some of the rock bottom basics that you can expect from beatburner for more infomation read the manual provided to get the most out of this classicv vst plugin.

"Using only the pokey.synth module for sound source. I'm also running the uLFO sine wave through the Aux input to demonstrate the SR function.

I'm using my uStep/Short Bus to trigger Envelators which are outputing CV Into the "vol" input on the Pokey. The Pokey module has 2 built in VCA's! :) which is pretty awesome! Z8000 is also being clocked via Short Bus/uStep which is controlling pitch for pokey osc 1 & 2, uLFO pitch, SR CV (on pokey) and Wave CV on Pokey."

Amos 1.2 Demo

YouTube via anythinghonest | February 20, 2011 |

"Amos is a reactive MIDI instrument. It sends MIDI notes to desktop software and outboard gear. Think MIDI wind-chimes crossed with a pinball machine.

This video shows some of the new features added to Amos 1.2. Independent MIDI channels per disc and a re-designed settings panel are the highlights."

Amos: Another MIDI OSC Source - Anything Honest
iPads on eBay

"Amos is a reactive MIDI iPad instrument. It sends MIDI notes through a USB MIDI interface or over a wireless network to trigger sounds from software synths, MIDI-capable hardware or desktop DAWs like GarageBand, ProTools and Live...

In Amos's physics-simulated room, collisions between objects trigger MIDI notes. Up to three duration discs (half note, quarter note, eighth note) can be grabbed and thrown around the room. There are three 6-octave keyboards that can be configured via the Settings menu. When a disc strikes a keyboard key, it takes on that key‘s note value and emits that value for each collision until a new key is struck. Tilting the device controls the gravity in the room.

USB MIDI Requirements:
• iPad
• Apple iPad USB Camera Connection Kit
• Class-compliant USB MIDI interface

WiFi MIDI Requirements:
• A Mac, Linux, or Windows computer on the same WiFi network as your iPad
• A copy of the free DSMI Server running on your Mac, Linux, or Windows computer
• Some kind of MIDI capable desktop app (Garage Band, Pro Tools, Logic, Live, Sonar, etc.)

See http://anythinghonest.com/amos for further setup instructions."

"** The perfect toy for fans of giant battle robots **

Hands up everyone who loves giant stompy robots! Yeah, I thought so! Who wouldn't want to stomp around in a battle mecha of their own? But parking space for a 30-foot killer robot is hard to come by these days — and don't even get me started on the fuel bills!

So what do you do if you need your giant robot fix but can't afford the running costs? Stomping around your room swinging your arms just isn't the same... it doesn't sound right, for starters!

That's where SOUNDROID RAMPAGE comes in. Fire it up, hold your iPhone or iPod Touch in your hand, and stomp around like the robot you dream of — and SOUNDROID RAMPAGE makes the sounds!

The electrical hum! The giant, clanking footsteps! The whirring motors! No need to fiddle with controls: our motion sensing tracks your movement, and makes the sounds automatically!

Plus: SOUNDROID RAMPAGE is equipped with rapid-fire lasers, for when merely crushing the unworthy underfoot just isn't cutting it! Or charge your lasers first to increase their sheer awesomeness!

Not just sounds: SOUNDROID RAMPAGE features a gorgeous swirling interactive lightshow that responds to your movements and commands, and digital readouts that track your robot status.

** Go on a SOUNDROID RAMPAGE today! **"

D-50 101: Linear Arithmetic Synthesis explained. by TSF

YouTube via TheSynthFreq | February 20, 2011 |

"Linear Arithmetic synthesis or L/A synthesis is whats behind D-50s awesome sound, here I explain the process of how D-50 works.
These 3 main parts of D-50s awesomeness, is:
PCMs- pulse code modulation (there are 100 of them stored to ROM)
Digitally Generated WaveForms- Saw and Square waves (remember a Saw has even and odd harmonics, a Square has only Odd harmonics)
Subtractive Synthesis- the most basic theories for 'subtracting harmonics' in a structured way'.

More videos to come!
Please enjoy! :)

The bends to the Atari 2600 are a 1/4in outjack added with great sound quality. A volume control knob that give you great range over the volume. And 2 rca jacks one for video and one for audio the video one can run the visuals from the atari to and t.v, projector, etc with a yellow rca jack. Lastly a purple bright led you can check out a video I made with this exact unit on youtube look up (asThMatic atari 2600 )Also included is 12inch record painted using montana hardcore spray paint. Lastly a Piezo contact mic which can be used as a microphone to pick up all types of samples. A little about myself I have been a underground artist for about 14 years.I am a glassblower, circuit bender, graffiti artist, and musician. On dec.5 2006 I had a severe asthma attack after passing out from lack of oxygen I had a seziure and bit down on my tongue making it hard for my wife who was 7 months pregnant at the time to give me CPR.After my heart stoped she still stayed calm and got the idea to cover my mouth with her hand and breath in through my nose saving my life and most of my brain. Since then my life has been about art and sharing inspiration.I have been blessed with the artist around the world that trade inspiration with me.Thank you and feel free to ask any question to asThMatic. This Atari is in great working condition and comes with a power supply. Its very rare to see a atari with this many bends added all of which really add to the synthcart."
