The following is the initial press release announcing partnerships, a new location, and what to expect from this year's event:

"Soundmit ​is the ​international trade fair specialized in electronic musical instruments and new audio technologies ​that takes place annually in Turin​.

The event, with a history of ​eight ever-growing editions​, hosted ​exhibitors from 11 countries in 2018, welcoming ​over 800 visitors​ and 170 ​operators in the field​ in the two days of the event.

It has obtained the patronage of the​ Italian Trade Agency​ (www.ice.it), the ​Polytechnic of Turin​, the ​Polytechnic of Milan​, the ​University of Rome Tor Vergata,​ the ​DAMS of the University of Turin ​and​ ARDUINO​.

In addition to the exhibition part, the programme includes the inclusion of ​workshops​ and training sessions​ in collaboration with major ​international schools​ and companies in the sector.

The programme is enriched with talks and panels with the sponsoring Universities and international guests​ of the sector.

We are pleased to finally announce the developments of the S YNTHMEETING o f Torino during the last months.
The SYNTHMEETING , which began in 2011 from an idea of F rancesco Mulassano a nd ran till 2016 together with Luca Torasso, will be part of a newest and bigger event.

- The Facebook group STRUMENTI MUSICALI USATI with 5400 members is among the largest and most active italian groups for buying and selling musical instruments on Facebook.

These acquisitions have immediately incremented the network guaranteeing a group of nearly 22,000 members.

The second edition of the Soundmit - International Sound Summit ended keeping all the promises. 35 exhibitors from 11 different countries, over 800 visitors and 170 operators in the sector. Institutional patronage increased with the Italian Trade Agency, E.M.E.A., Politecnico di Torino, Politecnico di Milano, DAMS Turin, University of Rome Tor Vergata and Arduino.

Soundmit 2022 - Exhibit FOR FREE at the next Synthfest France

SOUNDMIT and SYNTHFEST FRANCE togheter under the sign of EMEA!

Today we have a news to share with all exhibitors and future exhibitors of SOUNDMIT 2022!

For some years now, SOUNDMIT has been twinned with SYNTHFEST FRANCE, the Nante's synth event which, like ours, is held every year.

In 2018 we created EMEA - Electronic Music Event Association. A consortium created to guarantee quality events to the public and companies.

At the same time, EMEA allows the sharing of experiences and knowledge between events and promote mutual support.

Thanks to this collaboration, Soundmit can offers to ALL THE COMPANIES present at Soundmit 2022 that never take part in the SFF, the opportunity to participate FREE OF CHARGE in the next edition of SYNTHFEST FRANCE in June 2023.

SYNTFEST FRANCE staff will be present at SOUNDMIT 2022 in the legendary VINTAGE KITCHEN with a selection of collectible synthesizers including: PPG Wave 2.3, Ensoniq SD1, MFB Dominion 1, OSCar and Pro One.

Il primo modulo è stato il VEGA, recentemente aggiornato alla versione 2.0 del firmware. Un modulo che in soli 6HP offre 4 voci drum complete in sintesi (con i DSP modellati da Stefano D'Angelo di @orastron5861) ma anche la possibilità di usare samples! Nuovi moduli sono in arrivo, Sulax sequencer euclideo, Aladfar espansione CV per il Vega, Ixhie Espansione MIDI e molto altro!

Finally, we get our hands, ears, and eyes on the @ELTAmusic products, hands and ears on the brand-new #solar42, and eyes on the lasers that have adorned the spaces of Soundmit 2023 for 2 days. For the first time in Italy, the Latvians from Elta Music have captured the attention of ambient-drone enthusiasts!
