CTFL011 - Fubsan - Pulse Variationen
Lots of low end on this one.
"4 consecutively recorded impro sessions on a Waldorf Pulse synth
with additional help of a delay/reverb and in one case a noise reduction tool due to its ice ineffectivity/artefacts.
No multitracking or similar was used.
To quote a news post:
"You won’t find any drums or verse chorus verse structures, but instead 4 experiments that explore the character and possibilities of a synthesizer. "

The MBase11 can do only one thing, but it does it right:
Phat kick drums!
And it does this even better than in the past.
The MBase11 is the logical follower of the MBase01 and offers even better performance, more versatility and an even phatter sound!

Headcleaner on How Do You Make Music?
"Dave Williams, aka Headcleaner, is a gigging Leeds-based techno musician having a release out back in 2000 on Rephlex. That there’s just one release is an indicator of his fondness for live music: The shows are built around one device - a large, yellow, (more than half home-made) Eurorack format analogue modular synth. It’s pre-patched and ridden live, and his sets are, partly by necessity, always fully improvised. That being the case, and even though his music certainly embodies the unpredictability of modulars, what’s most surprising is how danceable it is. It’s something at odds with the ‘swarm-of-bees-music’ stigma that analogue modulars can get associated with, but Headcleaner has designed his system for a specific purpose, and he performs it very well."

"This is the 2nd demonstration of my invention - The Judge. I've done some fine tuning of levels here and there (skipping descriptions) and things are working a lot better.
Also - I have the sequencer that is being used for the Level / comparison controls on each of the 16 steps, this time running my Liquid HiHat, to give a better audible idea, of which Steps are triggering and which are not.
I hope my explanation of the function in this video gets the idea across in an easier to understand way than my last version of it."
