HackMe Vectr Controlling Make Noise Erbe-Verb

Vectr_Erbe-Verb_Video Published on Jan 18, 2015 Matthew Heins

"Vectr Demo Video - This video showcases Vectr working with the Make Noise Erbe-Verb. I demonstrate recording and overdubbing loops with Vectr, using Vectr as the master sequencer and clock for my modular rig. I'm using Braids as an audio source going through an enveloped VCA, then through a filter, and finally into the Erbe-Verb. Vectr is controlling the Decay parameter of the Erbe-Verb, the Pre-Delay parameter of the Erbe-Verb, and the cutoff frequency of the filter. I record a loop, then pretty much noodle around overdubbing and playing with other synth parameters. Good fun."

"Vintage Wavemakers Modular Systems kb 668 Rare Modular Synth programmer In working condition with no cosmetic or functional defects. Tested with my eurorack system and Arp 2600. Seems to work fine.

The only minor issue is the right hand side oak end is secured to the unit with some particle board which is cracked. And the 2 front face screws are missing. If sold I'll be happy to get it to 100%

"Interactive sound installation

more info - http://vtol.cc/filter/works/oil

The main idea of this project is to present exhibition visitors with the chance to destroy any object that might happen to be on their person, in order to transform it into a unique sound production. The installation consists of five hydraulic presses, capable of crushing practically any object (a mobile telephone, pair of glasses, headphones or whatever). In the process of destruction, a special microphone records the sounds made as the object undergoes deformation, and in just a few minutes, a computer algorithm transforms them into a 20 minutes album.

The project is intended to provoke visitors into spontaneously ridding themselves of material consumer objects for the sake of creating their own individual work of art via deprivation, divestment and destruction. Sound has been taken as the chief medium here with good reason, since sound art is perhaps the least material and most abstract of all genres in art. The technological aesthetic involved constitutes an ironic attempt to make the process of art production into a technological process, but the result, unlike that of mass production, demonstrates a contrary phenomenon – this is a work involving programming and code in the context of generative art, with the potential to broaden the range of instruments at art’s disposal. At the end of the process, the sound production is automatically recorded onto an audio CD and handed over to the participant, completing the process of exchange.

Moog Satellite Sample Set by AudioThing

via AudioThing

"The Satellite is a rare and less known Moog synthesizer from the mid 70s. It’s a monophonic preset synthesizer with one VCO and limited modulations. It was used mostly as an add-on for electric organs, in fact, the US company Thomas Organ bought the license to build it. Preset sounds include brass, reeds, strings, and other sounds. As many keyboards of that time, the Satellite is not properly tuned along all the keys (especially at the ends) so we included two versions: tuned and untuned.

Specifications
2 Kontakt Instruments (.nki):
tuned and untuned
13 Original Presets
433 Samples (44.1kHz / 24Bit)
Formats: Kontakt and WAV"

KORG Electribe 2 - What's on my Tribe?

Korg Electribe2s on eBay

"Hey all! It's been a while since I've uploaded the last video.
Life has been really busy. Anyway. :D So what's new: I finally got the new Electribe. Been looking forward to this beast since it's first announcement in September 2014.

Jamming on this machine is lots and lots of fun and I am really digging creating new sounds on it.

But back to the video: I decided to show off some of my patterns I've made so far. So in this video you will find mostly one bar patterns containing all sorts of musical styles and influences. D'n'B, Chiptunes and Video Game Music, House, Hip Hop etc.... :) This is by no means a "full set" so please excuse the tight cuts;
I just really wanted to give you a quick taste on what different sounds are possible.

Everything you hear is made using the Electribe 2; no external altering. Each pattern has been hand crafted by myself; playing is live!

Enjoy and take care! :)"

"Here's another piece from my studio collection that I'm selling off. This Polysix was cleaned and calibrated by a professional technician a couple years ago. Although this has been with me for some time, I can't say that I've used it much. I did play this Polysix for about a half hour prior to listing it going through all the functions. It plays very well, sounds nice and vintage, and everything seems to function like it should. All the keys trigger nicely and it's capable of producing classic Korg sounds. The original battery has of coarse been removed and replaced with a custom mounted long life battery. The 32 patch memory works and it was fun playing all the patches. I noticed was that the output jack is a little wobbly, however I still had no problems using it. The only other thing I think is worth mentioning is that with the volume turned way up, through the headphone jack I could start to hear a hum coming in, which doesn't seem to be a problem from the main output on high volume or with mid volume levels on the headphones. Cosmetically you can see from the pictures that it's in average condition with some scratches on the keys (mostly black keys), wear on the end cheeks, wear marks and blemishes to the paint, etc. I remember the panel hinge(?) being loose as well; not when it's closed though..."

"Created in the wake of the Emulator sampler-synths, E-mu unleashed the Drumulator sample-based drum-machines. The Drumulator was E-mu's attempt at creating a rhythm machine like the Linn LM-1 that was better and cheaper. What they made wound up becoming a huge hit for E-mu. The Drumulator had eight drum sounds on a ROM microchip which were gritty, lo-fi 12-bit samples of basic drum sounds...but they were some classic sounds!"

SH-101 - Dominion 1 - Sub37 Snappy Envelopes

"The purpose of this recording was to compare the envelope snappiness of Roland SH-101, MFB Dominion 1 and Moog Sub 37. In addition, I tweaked the osc waveforms, noise and filters too. SH-101 comes first, then the Dominion 1, and last the Sub 37. No fx was used in most of the recording, only small amount of limiting."

2:15: This is 1 oct lower now.
4:04: Dominion 1
7:25: Going through filter types
9:05: Crackling came from overloading converter while quickly changing filter types.
9:56: Sub 37
10:02: I probably played the Sub 37 1 oct lower than the others while testing the closed envelopes.
