"Its always nice to get a new synth or pice of kit. Unfortunately this normally either costs serious money .. or worse... something leaves your music toolbox to pave (and pay) the way for the new next awesome thing. So when your not doing that it can be quite interesting and refreshing when you take something you already have and try and make it do a smiliar thing! Here I use the RYTM as a sample playback device. Not quite a Digitakt but avoiding almost totally the inbuilt sounds and instrument oscillators in the RYTM. Played live and recorded in Stereo with minimal studio trickery :D"

Choral // Eurorack ambient Hermod Pluck Telharmonic Behringer D Plonk Plaits

Beautiful piece.

"Frozen moments of Pluck (guitar/string) + plonk (granular fuzz) are captured in uClouds in spectral madness mode and sound almost like a human choir or, at least, an 80s synth version of a choir.

Crunchy chords from Telharmonic are run through the Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water (KFM) pedal for random warble modulation.

A clone of the output of Pluck goes through Tapographic Delay for extra layers.

Behringer D (2 x ramp oscillator) for the bass/lead notes and Plaits on hi-hats.

Maths modulates the decay input on Pluck for that some-notes-picked, some-notes-strum sound.

Sequenced with Hermod and recorded into Reaper with a little reverb from Toraverb2."

"A semi-self-generating patch using a Mother 32 and a DFAM sent through an Eventide Space hall reverb and an Eventide Timefactor on digital delay setting.

I haven't done a slow self-generating patch in a while, so I thought it would be nice to create something nice and creepy, similar to 006//R.E.M., and add percussion to it. While I was playing around the percussion became tonal bleeps, and this was the result!

The Mother 32 is being sent through the delay and reverb at 100% wet, while the DFAM is less wet. The Mother 32 is clocked by the LFO, with its sequencer glitched to run at 1/12 the tempo, while the DFAM runs at its own internal tempo. The Assign output is set to output a random stepped voltage, and that modulates several parameters such as filter resonance, mix amount, etc. The triangle LFO is modulating the volume of the DFAM, and the Gate output of the Mother 32 affects the FM amount of the DFAM's oscillators.

"So this probably goes on way too long but it's mostly just an example of some of the sweet ear candy I've been finding from combining the Odyssey and Microbrute into a 3 Oscillator synth. I really need a proper 3 oscillator mono but in the meantime this is pretty fun.

The sequence was programmed on the Microbrute then CV triggered the Odyssey and the audio from the Odyssey is fed into the Microbrute. Also some textures from the SH01A off stage and drums from a PO 32 and MPC 1000. Enjoy."
