"This is the Noise Engineering Sonitus Tympanum System - Designed and built by us here at Noisebug. This was a part of a 3 unit series, and this it the last unit #3. Prophet 10 desktop with Low Frequency Expander

video by Steve Hunt

"Just got the P10 today and thought I'd have a play with the LFE's arpeggiator and with sending clock synced LFOs to control filter envelope decay, Poly Mod depth, filter envelope amount and filter envelope attack. Just having a play with what's possible - not trying to be even remotely musical!
The pattern is the arpeggiator in Played Order mode.
The LFE display's left column shows the clock sync division, e.g. 8 is one cycle per 8th note and 2b is one cycle per 2 bars."

"Hard to find vintage RSF Blackbox polyphonic synthesizer, made in France by Ruben Fernandez. The synth is working fine and we include a copy of owner's manual in pdf. Notice that the owner's manual is written in French.

So, this is how this synth works: plug a mono source into the input of the Blackbox and it will take the input waveform and allow you to play chords with it, effectively turning a mono source into a polyphonic output. It also has its own internal oscillator, so it can generate polyphonic sound all by itself. You can lock a chord on the Blackbox and then vary the pitch of the mono input, thereby changing the root pitch of the output chord. Additional controls allow you to add an additional tone either one or two octaves below the input, as well as adjust chorus.

Optically the synth is in good condition with minor signs of use. The wooden side panels have little wear and tear and some small scratches. On the metal case you'll find some small scratches too. All the lights above the keys are working fine.

It's an originally 220v version with European plug installed to the lead. The serial number is: 13334"

TECHNOSAURUS MICROCON SN 2120 w/ Original Box

"Nice fun little ultra-portable totally analog synthesizer, about the size of a VHS tape. (Remember those?) It was made in 1999 or so by Technosaurus, a Swiss company best known for their high-end Selector modular synths. It is handmade using the same discrete circuits as the Selectors. And built like a tank, it is, very solid construction.

The Microcon has one main oscillator capable of either sawtooth or square waveforms, just like the TB-303. The addition of a sub-oscillator is more the like SH-101, which can help beef up your bass sounds. The analog lowpass filter is switchable as either 2-pole (12dB/oct) or 4-pole (24dB/oct), which is better than the TB-303 or SH-101 offered. The LFO can modulate the filter cutoff frequency with either triangle or square wave and the VCO can be modulated by square or triangle waves. Simple attack and decay envelope controls and a Glide effect round out the controls. Plus a little red button to trigger it manually.

Please note that this is the original Microcon, and does not have a midi output like the Microcon II. This version only uses CV and Gate for being controlled externally. The last three photos are pages from the manual describing its operation. You can download a copy of the manual for yourself at:" [link]

Monome Norns Arcologies In the Woods

video by Perplex On

"Please enjoy this little ambient jam in the woods. I'm using a custom #Nornsshield loaded with #Arcologies script and two #Launchpadmini as a poor-man's Grid in combination with #midigrid library. The background pads were done by routing the raw sound form Arcologies through #BleassGranulizer and #Velvetmachine on an iPad and then loaded this recording into Norns' tape to play in the background."

Moog Matriarch // Some Mellow Sounds of Raw Moog Beauty

video by Dexba

"Moog Matriarch. I've said everything already.
In this first video, I wanted to focus on all the components' intrinsic quality and how beautiful a sound can get even without extreme patching. The only cables you will see are for automating the Spacing of the filter!

Matriarch is the current flagship (if we don't take into consideration the Moog One, a halo synth by features and price) in production by Moog, and for me, it ticks all the boxes:
- Pure analog goodness from the beefy oscillators (4 of them!) to the gorgeous filter and the delay
- Creativity & tradition, with the stereo filter and all the patching capabilities
- Onboard FX, and what an FX! MF104 built right into the synth

Yes, we can all agree that it still isn't the polysynth we maybe wanted, especially because not many people are considering buying the ONE, the price is a bit steep, but man, oh man, if that isn't the best Moog in production...
Because of this, I am also selling my Subsequent 37, an interesting project for sure, but with a character not even close to what the Matriarch can offer without a sweat.

Pure analog goodness and I am all for it!
Enjoy ✨"
