700 FM Voice Scroll
video upload by Todd Barton
"Curiosity is always my default. So . . . what if I create a simple single patch on the 700 FM Voice and scroll through the four Modes of each Algorithms? What sounds and textures will arise? Here's that scroll. Imagine the possibilities of adjusting just a single or multiple parameters? Sit back with a favorite drink for the next 7'30".

The iOptigan: the infamous Optigal Organ of the 1970s in your iPad!
video upload by CatSynth TV
We present the iOptigan, a recreation of the infamous Optigan keyboard of the 1970s.
From https://ioptigan.com
'The Optigan, short for Optical Organ, was a chord organ from the early 70’s. It is remembered today for its unique system of sound reproduction using optical discs. These LP-sized film discs were optically encoded with 57 concentric tracks, which contained loops of musical combos playing chord patterns in different styles. Each disc contained a specific style of music (Bossa Nova, Big Band etc) which the user could control by pressing the chord buttons...
...Despite this novel technology, the scratchy sound of the Optigan left a lot to be desired. iOptigan truthfully recreates that lo-fi sound. For more information about the original Optigan, please visit https://optigan.com'

video upload by GS Music
"We finally assembled and turned on the first unit of the GS e7.
We were so excited that we hadn't realized that the camera was slightly ou of focus.
There are still some details to keep on working and we are starting the production for the first pre-order batch to be delivered in a few weeks.
We will make more extensive demos once we finish the first batch."

A use for aliasing that you may never have seen before!
video upload by Frap Tools
"Aliasing is usually a big no-no: it means that there's something wrong with your digital sound and with a guy named Nyquist. However, thanks to our BagĂ i, it is possible to make this bad thing a good one and have some fascinating timbre – with an all-analog signal path (for what it's worth)."
Introducing Tempera MINI
video upload by beetlecrab
"Tempera MINI is a new synthesizer from Beetlecrab.audio in a form factor so small, it defies reason."
Tempera MINI prototype devlog #1

"First video of Tempera MINI proof of concept development"
via beetlecrab.audio
"At beetlecrab.audio, we have always been committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Tempera has seen an incredible response from musicians, sound designers, and experimental artists who have embraced its unique interface and deep sonic capabilities. However, one question has persisted: what is the absolute essence of Tempera?
This question led us down an ambitious path of innovation, culminating in our latest development—Tempera MINI. A radically compact version of our flagship granular synthesizer, Tempera MINI distills the essence of expressive polyphonic synthesis into a form factor so small, it defies reason.
Development Progress & Challenges
The development of Tempera MINI has been an exercise in extreme engineering. Our team faced several core challenges, including:
Interface Miniaturization – The original Tempera features a spacious multi-touch surface designed for expressive playability. Shrinking this down while compromising playability required rethinking the user interface entirely. Through meticulous touch calibration and adaptive gesture detection, we managed to preserve a highly playable surface area despite the drastic size reduction. Component Density – Packing almost none of Tempera’s synthesis engine into a fraction of the space posed significant electronic and thermal management challenges. After extensive board redesigns and custom component sourcing, we successfully achieved a form factor that maintains basically no functionality of the original Tempera—albeit at a radically compact scale.
PlantsSystem-Taxi (Full Version)
video upload by plantssystem
"The warmth of analog and the sharp texture of digital intersect in 'Taxi,' a song that depicts a minimalist world woven together by the rich synth textures of the Prophet-5, the tight rhythms of the DR-55, and the unique groove of the SU700. EffecTV is used for the video, visually emphasizing the experimental nature of the song. The simple yet deep soundscape evokes the feeling of wandering through an inorganic city night.

In this one we are going to use the BTMX to process a fixed trigger pattern and use the OR logic to add hits to it, so you can play around creating fills by flipping the switches!
Have fun!!"

"Here is a rare chance to get a rare 'TV front' Selmer CLAVIOLINE in near mint conditions ! The Clavioline have been seriously serviced last year, and sound amazing, and stay tuned for all octaves ! Vibrato needs to be serviced (according to the tech, easy to do as it is condenser component to change. He moved far from my studio, and don't have time to bring it back) All in all, you won't be disappointed as the Clavioline is in really excellent conditions, and play so well"

"Roland MRS-2 ProMars Compuphonic. This one has pedigree, I bought it off Martyn Ware and you can see it in some early Human League videos! Great sounding mono synth. Has a nice Kenton MIDI retrofit, too. This synth has been used throughout its life and shows sign of general wear and tear (but nothing too bad). The worst bit is the flake of veneer off the right-hand end-cheek - but the rest is surprisingly good for an instrument that was well used. Packing at VEMIA 18GBP."

Behringer Wave Digital Synthesizer User Review [Demo 01]
video upload by gstormelectro
"Audio + Video by G-Storm Electro c. 2025
Today I am giving a user review of the new Behringer Wave. My personal thoughts and opinions. I bought this synth with my own tax refund money. So nobody has input into what I'm posting here today. The Wave is promoted as a faithful reproduction of the PPG Wave 2.3 digital synthesizer in all its lo-fi glory. With a touch of some modern feature additions. While I have tried a friend's original PPG, this is not a comparison to the original. Nor is this an exhaustive how-to, nor covering all features.
Is the Behringer Wave right for you?
What makes the Wave stand out from other synths?
Is the Wave a good value for the money?
Can I recommend the Wave to others?

Destroying drums for Aphex Twin's - Ventolin, with the Erica Synths Syntrx II and Roland R8
video upload by Bleeps and Boops
"Something no-one asked for but it's here anyway... I was fascinated by the idea of Richard processing drums in things like the MS20, but rather than go down that route I figured I'd have a go at Ventolin using the spiritual ancestor of the EMS Synthi, the Erica Synths Syntrx II.
Chapters below -

1:30 Thought process and motivation
3:17 Syntrx II Demos
8:17 Parts for Ventolin
11:00 Track!
It's not 100% (obviously) and I didn't go to the trouble of changing the parts up too much. I think the drums are samples - there are bits in the original that sound like they're being played backwards which gives the game away - but the Syntrx is way more than 'just' a monosynth, and makes some very weird sounds so I sort of went with it."
