The enigmatic magnetic Demon Box from Eternal Research - #Knobcon 2025
video upload by CatSynth TV
"Alexandra Fierra of Eternal Research presents the Demon Box, an intriguing instrument based on sensing the dynamic changes in electromagnetic fields. Any electromagnetic source (e.g., electronic devices, magnets, etc.) or even inert objects will trigger MIDI and CV changes as well as changes in any audio being passed into the instrument.

Terrain Synth: a novel synth by Conductive Labs - #Knobcon 2025
video upload by CatSynth TV
See the announcement post here.
"We get a tour of the new Terrain Synth from Conductive Labs. Terrain synthesis expands on the concept of wavetable synthesis by treating the wavetable as a 3D contour that can be traversed in any path or direction (i.e., not just forwards and backwards through the individual wave cycles). These "terrains" can be traditional wavetables as well as mathematical functions (like the complex maps we have featured in some of our math videos), or even JPEG and PNG images.

9/7/25 Roland System 100m & RE-301 + Lexicon PCM 70 Snoopeggio
video upload by Cfpp0
"9/7/25 Roland System 100m & RE-301 + Lexicon PCM 70
Snoopeggio.
Testing the Roland 184 polyphonic keyboard we just got back from our tech. Here we have three of the 184’s CV outputs modulating two 112 VCOs and one 110 VCO, while three of the 184’s gate outputs modulate three 140 envelopes, which control two 130 VCAs and a 110 VCA. These three signals are mixed and panned on the 131 mixer, with its stereo outputs hard-panned on the Mackie Onyx 1640, with the “concert hall” algorithm on the Lexicon PCM 70. The 131 mono output runs to the Roland RE-301 for tape echo, which is panned mono on the Mackie. The feedback on the RE-301 is increased after the hold switch is engaged on the 184."
How to Recreate the Iconic Underworld Born Slippy Intro on Novation Summit and Montage/MODX
video upload by Scott's Synth Stuff
"Underworld's intro to their huge hit Born Slippy is one of the best known intros, with an iconic stab and pad sound. Dance floors the world over go crazy when they hear that identifiable sound and chord sequence. In this video I show you first how to sound design these sounds, using my Novation Summit, and then again on the Montage. However, you can use my explanation to recreate the sound on most any synthesizer. I then show you how to play the chords."

How to Remake Underworld's "Dark and Long (Dark Train)" on the Roland Fantom/Fantom-0
video upload by Scott's Synth Stuff
"In this video, I take one of the earliest songs "Dark and Long (Dark Train)" by my favorite band, Underworld, and remake it in my Fantom-6. If you have a Fantom or a Fantom-0, you can do this yourself! I show how I picked the sounds, then go through the various parts and create sequences in the pattern sequencer. Once I'm done, I put it all together and show how it can be performed! You could do this on any multitimbral synth with a sequencer (MODX or Montage), using a DAW like Abelton, or even using a looper!"

Liminal Space Update: Haunted Digital Reverb Gets a GUI
video upload by Keith Crosley
"Liminal Space is my 'haunted digital reverb'... It used to be "headless" but now it has a GUI! And now available in VST3 format!! Just a quick touchbase here about this project. Yeah, there are likely still some bugs (please report any that you find... I'll fix 'em!), but it's coming along. Grab your immediate-mode interface and come along with me to a world of infinite reverb-erb-erb-erb in this echoes-a-go-go episode of your favorite talky synthesizer content show."

Sonicware Liven EVOKE & Novation Circuit Rhythm: Live Ambient Electronic Jam
video upload by Ayohnimus (Official)
"🎵 Welcome back to the jam room! 🎵
This session is all about a dynamic duo for live electronic music: the incredible Sonicware Liven EVOKE and the powerful Novation Circuit Rhythm.
The Liven EVOKE provides the rich, evolving soundscapes with its unique granular and "Acoustronic" synthesis engine, creating the perfect ambient foundation. The Circuit Rhythm takes over on the beats, driving the groove with its intuitive sequencing and punchy samples.
This is a completely live performance, showing how these two pieces of gear can be used together to create a full, immersive track. If you're a fan of ambient, techno, or hardware-focused jams, you'll love this!"
Album with Make Noise only - Fracture #07 Live Performance
video upload by Anton Anru
"🎆 Fractures is the result of a series of experiments with the Make Noise modular trio: 0-Coast, Strega, and 0-Ctrl. This combination of instruments is perfectly suited for generative ambient music, where hypnotic repetition merges with expression and dynamic movement.
💽 I recorded a 10-track album using only three Make Noise devices and VST effects.
All tracks were recorded live in a single take, with no additional editing. Each piece is built around a sequenced pattern and a complex patch that evolves continuously, shaped manually in real time.
The album is available on all streaming platforms.
➕ SoundCloud: / fractures
➕ Bandcamp: https://anru.bandcamp.com/album/fract...
The album explores a wide emotional range — from brighter, more uplifting moments to darker, more noise-driven textures — offering a diverse sonic journey shaped by the raw, living nature of modular synthesis.
📒 I also have patches for Make Noise and other synthesizers: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/
🎛 Lately, I’ve been more interested in working with simpler forms rather than complex arrangements in DAW. Semi-modular synths are perfect for this approach. In this case, the arrangement is the patch itself. If it’s well thought out, you can easily play a full track in a specific genre—like ambient or techno—using just that one patch.
📝 I’m curious to hear your thoughts—does this kind of format immerse you in a certain mood or evoke a specific emotion? Or does the sound feel too experimental and harder to connect with?
I’d really appreciate any feedback. Enjoy listening!"

"E-mu Systems Proteus MPS Plus Orchestral 61-keys digital keyboard, circa mid/late 90's. [ SN 069200202 ]
This keyboard was featured on 3 albums by The Loud Family [pic below]:
Days For Days
Attractive Nuisance
From Ritual To Romance: The Loud Family Live
Used on at least 3 tours with The Loud Family between 1998 and 2001. Keyboard includes road rash from that touring, mostly on the underside and indicated in the photos. All keys work with no issue. The entire outer chassis has been cleaned and no cracks or other damage are present on the outer chassis, except for a few scratches, again from the road work.
After touring with The Loud Family, keyboard was used sparingly, if at all and has remained in a climate controlled closet since.
Keyboard turns on/boots up and all 500 internal sounds are working. Have not tested and have never used the "Card" keyboard sound/patch storage interface. Also includes original AC adapter and RokSak™️ soft carrying case, all in Good condition.
There is a screw that is loose, internally, and rattles around the chassis. Does not at all effect the functionality of the keyboard.
Own a piece of history, and a useful vintage keyboard."

"Excellent working and physical condition (I consider it Excellent, but used Very Good according to Reverb's stringent descriptions). LFO rate mod (really useful).
The ARP Little Brother is a keyboardless, monophonic synthesizer expander module produced by ARP from 1975 to 1977, designed to add an extra oscillator and LFO to other ARP synthesizers like the Axxe, Odyssey, and 2600. It features a genuine ARP 4027 oscillator (the same as in the ARP 2600), four selectable and stackable waveforms, four selectable and stackable octaves, and an on-board LFO for vibrato. The Little Brother connects to a host ARP synthesizer via its control voltage (CV) output and external audio input, allowing users to create a "fatter" sound by stacking multiple Little Brothers for a more modular-like experience. Key Features"

Elektron Machinedrum IDM Beat
video upload by Akihiko Matsumoto
"Machinedrum Sample Pack
https://akihikomatsumoto.sellfy.store...
The Elektron Machinedrum, first introduced in the early 2000s, was not simply a drum machine. It was a digital architecture built to generate percussion with surgical precision and metallic sharpness. Its synthesis models produced results that went beyond drum programming, moving into the territory of sound design. Even today, no software plugin has managed to fully replicate its distinctive texture.
This collection captures that uniqueness. Every sample was recorded directly from the Machinedrum itself. No external processing, no layering. What you hear is the circuitry of early Elektron design, distilled into one-shots that highlight the instrument’s raw identity.

12db multi Vcf as high pass filter at 146bpm Psytrance
video upload by Radical Frequencies Modular
"12db Multi Vcf in high pass mode modulated by sample & hold and lfo, Dpvco feeds filters inputs a low octave saw wave and an additional saw in upper octave which is in exponential fm mode.
High pass filtering in Psytrance music is very essential and 12db Multi Vcf is one of the best for that sound ! The bass is already recorded from SH Vcf."
