Noodling with reSEMble
video upload by Randy Piscione
"PM Foundations recently re-stocked a limited number of reSEMble PCB/Panel sets, and this may very well be the last time. If you’re unfamiliar with reSEMble, it is a tribute to the Oberheim SEM, but more of an SEM 2.0. Have a look at the other relevant videos on my channel for more sounds and info. If you want to build a reSEMble, go here: https://www.tindie.com/products/pmfou...
This is not the most visually exciting video, I was really more interested in demoing the sound. reSEMble provides the leads, odd percussion and sound effect bits. Drums are courtesy of an Alesis SR-16.
The first part of the video (first verse I suppose) uses the reSEMble in a configuration that duplicates the SEM – two VCOs, LP VCF, 2 EGs and a triangle LFO. Bass for the verses is from a Behringer Minimoog and a custom-modified Behringer TD-3. Chords for the verses comes from a 1980 dual manual Prophet 10.
The first chorus adds a third VCO and sine LFO. Bass is provided by a Minimoog (first re-issue) and the chords are again from the Prophet 10. The second verse brings in the wavefolder. The second chorus is similar to the first. The odd percussion and sound effect stuff bring in some audio rate exponential FM. The final chorus uses the wavefolder with the VCOs mixed in."
EMW WCS-X Synthesizer Update: Transient Sample Player
video upload by EMW Synthesizers
"This video showcases the new transient sample player added to the WCS-X.
The transient module can replace Oscillator 3, allowing you to choose between three oscillators or two oscillators plus transients. With a library of 64 transient samples, it adds a new layer of attack, punch, and character to the sound.
Thanks for watching!"
Cinefreak 📽️ (Arturia Minifreak ; Conductive Labs NDLR Sequencer) #OneSynthOnly
video upload by 2-Minute Warning
"My first video with the Arturia Minifreak! What and amazing and versatile synth! Was really impressed of how it sounds and all the features it has in such a small form factor 🤩
As usual, I recorded this jam only a couple of hours after getting the Minifreak, it's really very easy to get started with!
However it did take me a lot of time to record all the parts in multitrack (though it is a OneSynthOnly jam), mix the audio and edit the video, really hope you'll enjoy it ☺️
Here's how I proceeded:
I first "played" the NDLR sequencer and recorded the MIDI notes on 4 different tracks for the BASS (= DRONE track on the NDLR), PADS, MOTIF-1 and MOTIF-2.
Then I sent the MIDI notes from each track to the Minifreak and tweaked the knobs etc. in real-time (except for the LEAD part which I played throughout in real-time).
** Hardware used **
// BASS, PADS, MOTIF-1, MOTIF-2, LEAD
Arturia Minifreak (polyphonic hybrid keyboard with dual digital sound engines and analog filters)
// SEQUENCER
Conductive Labs NDLR (MIDI Four-track, Sequenced Arpeggiator, Chord and Drone Player)"

Tangible Waves Introduces WAEVE82 - Polyphonic Wavetable Oscillator in PPG Blue

"The WAEVE82 is not only a polyphonic wavetable oscillator, but actually a complete 8-voice polysynth! It combines the unmistakable charm of early digital wavetable instruments with a modern, performance-oriented workflow and a clear, page-based interface that invites exploration.
Its conceptual DNA is inspired by the PPG Wave 2 synthesizers of the 1980s — iconic instruments known for glassy timbres, animated spectra, and futuristic character.
Yet, the WAEVE82 is far from being a clone.
It draws inspiration from that lineage but follows its own path, with a unique audio engine, expanded modulation options, modern randomization tools, and a streamlined interface tailored for the AE modular format.
At its core, WAEVE82 provides:
· Two independent wavetable oscillators, with 64 internal wavetables plus support for external tables loaded from micro-SD card.
· Three envelopes and four LFOs, each with defined primary and secondary roles; LFOs can be free-running or tempo-synced
· An extensive modulation matrix, enabling both traditional and experimental routing.
· Dual operating modes:
Edit Mode for deep sound design
Perform Mode for live playability with direct access to eight favorites
· A powerful Randomize & Mutate system that generates entirely new sounds or gently transforms sounds while keeping them musical; always with restorable history. This absolutely hot; endless inspiration, endless fun!
· Save/load presets from micro-SD card
· Full IMDI/MIDI and CV/Gate integration, including an eight-voice MIDI engine and flexible chord generation from CV,, plus additional CV/Gate inputs for additional control. IMDI and CV control can run parallel.
Shipping starts in second half of January 2026."

PlantsSystem-Duos&Prophet-5
video upload by plantssystem
"This video work captures the unpredictable changes in sound that occur when the analog circuits of a Sequential Prophet-5 and a Hikari Instruments Duos are feedback-connected and interfere with each other.
The Prophet-5's rich polyphonic sound stimulates the Duos's sharp circuit response, responding sensitively to even the slightest touches, creating an organic, tense acoustic space.
This experimental work captures, through both sound and video, the moment of feedback, which oscillates between control and rampage.

MYFIEND // DANCING HANDS // ARPOLOOP VS LABYRINTH
video upload by Keith Duncan Sound
"I don't really touch the moog labyrinth here but I definitely like this combo, the labyrinth is so tribal and the arpoloop takes ages to get somewhere but when it gets there I haven't heard anything else like it.
The arpo is clocking the labby... I'll have to get some bigger patch cables"

Low Poly Synth by warmplace.ru Now Available
video uploads by Alexander Zolotov
Follow-up to this post.

"Low Poly Synth is a generator of melodic atmospheric sounds with billions of unique timbres.
https://warmplace.ru/soft/lpsynth
(standalone app for all systems and AUv3 plugin for iOS)
The app is built on modified synthesis algorithms from Fractal Bits, Relic Waves, and Relic Flow, with the addition of pure tone generation code.
The sound space is divided into 4294967296 presets, each corresponding to a set of 8 sample textures. The volume of an individual sample can be adjusted in the top panel or via MIDI. The bottom panel is a classic musical keyboard that sets the note for the sounds in the set. Each note triggers all 8 samples at once - together they form a complex harmonic pattern that almost never repeats over time due to the different lengths of the looped fragments.
Features:
search for new sounds with three buttons: next random set, edit code, previous set; each set of 8 sounds corresponds to a code of 8 characters (you can save/copy/paste it as plain text);
three types of keyboards for live performing: on-screen, PC keyboard, MIDI input; for the on-screen keyboard, you can set the number of displayed octaves and scale;
20+ parameters can be controlled via MIDI or directly through the app interface: Settings / MIDI Mapping;
real-time audio recording to WAV (32-bit);
export to: WAV (one file or a set), SunVox (samples + effects in one file), text clipboard;
the LCK button freezes individual samples - they will not change during the search for new sets;
Wi-Fi export/import;
iOS: Audio Unit Extension (AUv3).
