video upload by Martin Peters

"Here is a relative short track that developed yesterday. Yesterday, when in the Netherlands another Lockdown of 3 weeks was proclaimed. Anyways, I hope you are healthy and maybe this track will cheer you up a little. Five sequences are running on the Cirklon. The bass from the Modular and sequences from the 4ms Ensemble Oscillator, the Verbos Harmonic Oscillator filtered by the Mutable Instruments Ripples, the Tom Oberheim SEM and the DSI Mopho. The solo is performed of the Waldorf Q Keyboard and the strings on the Roland JD-800.

You can download the track for free from Bandcamp:"

"This music took some days to develop. I wanted to make it somewhat more interesting using chord changes. It starts with a sequence with a voice containing the OSC HRM and the Krisp1 TZ Oscillators. Then the self built Modular comes in with a sequence which has random ratcheting. After that a voice from the DSI Mopho is heard. Then the Tom Oberheim SEM and the Expert Sleepers Disting are introduced which both play the same sequence. After that the Rings delivers some pluckiness. A string sound from the JD-800 is added and then the Bass from the Modular comes in. A sequence on the Moog Prodigy is started and a phrase on the Korg ARP Odyssey is played. All these instruments are sequenced by the Cirklon. After a while I play the chords on the Polymoog and a solo on the Minimoog.

The music is recorded live to multi-track and mixed afterwards in Studio One. Only tracks from the live recording are used.

This track will also be available on Bandcamp soon."

2084 - a 92bpm cirklon groove for eurorack synthesizer

video by Luke Killen

"This is either roughing up a smooth groove or softening a rough beat.
I kind of liked the 808 State Cubik like stabs in a 'retro futurist' kind of way, so i decided to juxtapose it with a smoother groove."

Third Wave

video by Martin Peters

"This track began as a melody I had in my head during walking the dog. I entered the melody in the Cirklon sequencer and added some accompanying sequences. Add here you see and hear the result.

The track starts with the bass on the Modular and the melody on the Tom Oberheim SEM. After that the rhythmic noises from the Plaits through Clouds are added. The sequences on the Korg ARP Odyssey and a voice on the Modular with the MOS-LAB Kobol VCO's are introduced. And in comes the Roland JD-800 with a strings-like pad. An improvised solo is played on the Minimoog.

In the second part double-time sequences of another Modular voice and the Mopho are added. Chords are played on the Polymoog and again an improvised solo on the Minimoog.

This track is recorded live to multi-track and mixed in Studio One afterwards. Only tracks from the live recording are used.

This track is also available on Bandcamp:"
