"A whole bunch of hardware synthesizers!

The sequences you hear are from my modular system which includes VCZIII oscillator, filter from Feedback Modules, Behringer System 100m and 2500 modules. Also some Roland System 500 gear. The sequences are mainly from the Korg SQ64 - but I've also used Behringer 960 to do some things, as well as getting the SQ64 to trigger the 182 sequencer - see if you can spot it :)

Vocoder bit was done on the Roland E4. Other strings and sounds were from Streichfett, Pro 800 and Novation Peak. Effects are MXR Flanger or in the Modular system: Strymon Magneto, Intellijel Sealegs, Feedback Modules 106 Chorus."

via this eBay listing

"This is without a doubt the nicest Crumar Bit 99 I’ve ever owned or seen. It looks beautiful and shows signs of only very light use. It’s been well cared for in its life.

Everything works as it should — zero issues.

I purchased this in 2023 from a 100% feedback eBay seller. He made the following updates:

- power supply electrolytic capacitors replaced

- voice board electrolytic capacitors replaced

- firmware upgraded with Tauntek one: you can now easily control and program the synth with any midi controller

- keyboard dismantled and contacts and bus bar cleaned

- meticulously calibrated

- panel board and case fully dismantled, cleaned and polished

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 220-volt unit. You will need a step-up transformer to use this in the U.S. or Asia. This auction includes the power cable with the Euro/U.K. plug as shown in the photos, but no step-up transformer is provided."

Resonance Studios Disrupts Industry Standards, Revives Vintage Gear with Bold Expansion

Press release follows:

Stockport, United Kingdom – April 28, 2025 – Resonance Studios, launched on 808 Day (August 8, 2024), is fearlessly challenging the music industry’s practice of abandoning vintage equipment. By committing to the preservation of these iconic instruments, the Stockport-based studio has curated one of the world’s largest collections of new and vintage musical equipment, earning its place among the top six global hubs for synthesizers, drum machines, and samplers. Guided by its principles of inclusivity and sustainability, Resonance Studios employs expert in-house technicians to sustain this legacy, empowering artists with unmatched access to historic gear.

Expansion Plans
In late 2024, Resonance Studios expanded its team with Producer Tom Sharkett (Pictured) and invested in the latest, state-of-the-art SSL Origin analogue mixing console, complemented by a premium array of outboard equipment, including Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor, Empirical Labs Distressors, Lexicon 224, and Neve Shelford Channel. In 2025, the studio will double its footprint by adding another floor to its premises which is located less than half a mile from the iconic Strawberry Studios. The expansion includes a dedicated repair workshop, a vocal recording booth, a drum recording area, a live room— Where Jimi Hendrix famously performed in 1967—and a sophisticated relaxation and listening lounge for guests.

Connecting Past And Present
The studio’s collection has been further enriched with the incredibly rare Yamaha DX1, Analogue Solutions Colossus, and a Yamaha CP80, previously owned by Strawberry Studios and used by the renowned band 10cc. These acquisitions underscore Resonance Studios’ dedication to merging musical heritage with modern innovation.

'We’ve been delighted with the reaction from the community to our unique studio. It’s a testament to the team how far we have come in less than 12 months,” said John Pilkington, Founder. “Our 2025 expansion, including the iconic Jimi Hendrix live room, an additional technician and enhanced vocal and drum recording reflects our mission to redefine music production and empower artists to create without boundaries.'

Social Responsibility
Resonance Studios reinvests 97% of its profits into maintaining and acquiring equipment, ensuring accessibility for artists of all backgrounds. The remaining 3% is donated to Shelter, a charity supporting the homeless, reflecting the studio’s social responsibility. Every three months, the studio also provides an unsigned artist with a complimentary full day of recording, mixing, and mastering to nurture emerging talent. In 2025, the studio will also be taking on an apprentice technician to learn and preserve the skills required to maintain this specialist equipment.

With its historic live room, expanded facilities, and resolute commitment to preserving musical heritage, Resonance Studios is setting a new global benchmark for music production.

Press release follows:

Exquis: expressive, MPE, intuitive, affordable, now optimised for Ableton Live

[Superbooth25] Intuitive Instruments, the French company behind the award‑winning Exquis ex‑pressive MPE keyboard, unveils a triple update that turns its flagship instrument into the ultimate, lightweight and compact creative hub for Ableton Live users

Unlike pad‑centric grid controllers optimised for finger‑drumming and loop triggering, Exquis responds like a real acoustic instrument: its 61 soft silicone keys, each with independent five‑dimension MPE control, provide the nuanced touch and emotional depth needed for flowing melodies and harmonically rich chords.

Exquis Remote‑Control Script for Ableton Live

The brand‑new Python‑based Remote Script integrates Exquis seamlessly into Live’s native controller family, delivering Launchpad‑style Session control and an instrument‑grade expressive touch—courtesy of its MPE twist—that makes playing melodies and chords feel effortlessly natural:

• Session view – create, launch and delete clips or scenes without touching the mouse.

• Track mastery – arm, select, mute and solo any track, and get immediate access to volume, pan and aux sends

• Expressive performance – chords, melodies and drum racks flow through all 61 soft silicone keys with independant and
polyphonic 5 dimensions controls.

• Hands‑on transport & harmony – set Live’s tempo, root note and scale directly from Exquis.

• Per‑track note layouts – recall any of the keyboard’s eight onboard layouts (or your own customs) automatically when you change tracks — instantly reconfiguring Exquis into a specific instrument for every track, be it a bass, a percussive grid, or a soaring solo lead.

• One‑touch Favourites – call up Live racks or plugin presets in a heartbeat via Exquis’ exclusive favourites system.

• Device & mix control – tweak any parameter on any device and any track with using four push encoders and ten action buttons.

The script installs like any official Ableton controller template and requires Live 12.

Firmware v2.1 — Poly‑Hold Sustain & Developer Mode

In keeping with Intuitive Instruments’ drive for constant refinement, firmware v2.1 delivers two
headline additions:

• Poly‑Hold Sustain – let chords ring out indefinitely while the onboard arpeggiator conti‑ nues to evolve.

• Developer Mode – an open MIDI API that exposes every hardware element—keys, en‑ coders, action buttons, RGB LEDs and even onboard memory—so developers can remap behaviours, write custom DAW scripts or integrate Exquis into bespoke performance setups.

The update also packs an array of stability improvements for an even smoother playing expe‑rience.

Exquis App v2 — New factory preset list and 1 500 Curated Presets

The companion software for macOS/Windows receives new factory preset list featuring hand‑picked, layout‑optimised patches for Surge XT, Vital and Decent Samplerand a vast sound‑library expansion bringing 1 250 new sounds tuned for Surge XT, Vital, Decent Sampler, Baby Audio Atom, Beatsurfing Random, Dawesome Abyss, Zyklus, Audiomodern Soun‑ dbox and Newfangled Audio Pendulate — now 1 500 presets in total.

Superbooth 2025 and Embodme.

Intuitive Instruments will attend the Superbooth 2025: booth O134, in the mezzanine of the main hall, side to Expressivee and Embodme.

Introducing Oberheim TVS Pro by GForce Software

video upload by GForce Software

"More info at https://www.gforcesoftware.com/produc...

In 1975, Tom Oberheim revolutionised synthesiser design with the original TVS – Two Voice Synthesizer. By combining two SEMs and a keyboard, he introduced true duophony to the world—enabling musicians to play two independent voices simultaneously and explore harmonically rich, evolving soundscapes. It was a bold step forward, embraced by visionaries including Martin Gore, Adrian Utley, Peter Baumann, Lorn, The Prodigy, and Nils Frahm.

Decades later, the TVS Pro modernised that vision, adding a built-in sequencer, extended modulation, and refined controls—all while staying true to its unmistakable sonic DNA.

Now, with the GForce Oberheim TVS Pro plugin, this landmark instrument enters a new era. Developed in collaboration with Oberheim, this recreation captures not only the depth, warmth and character of the original, but also the spirit of innovation that made it extraordinary.
