YouTube via 12T0NE. These appear to be up for auction here.
"This video clip demonstrates some of the capabilities of my ribbon controllers.
During the first portion of the clip, I'm using the ribbon to modulate the VCF in my Yamaha CS-40M. Besides the filter sweeps, the ribbon is great for performing tap-tempo effects.
In the second part of the video, I have the ribbon connected to the synthesizer's CV input, and am using it in place of the keyboard to change pitch. I'm using the keyboard only to trigger the initial note."

EMS Synthi A w. Cricklewood Keyboard
Update: the same images were used in this auction. Make of it what you wish. Be sure to see the comments of this post.images via this CL listing.
"- the EMS Synthi A as shown, with original Spartanite case
- a Cricklewood keyboard with connecting cable. The keyboard is missing the metal tops from several of the knobs and the red plastic is worn on one pin switch (see picture). The Cricklewood (aka the DK1) is a velocity sensitive "dynamic" monophonic keyboard for use with the Synthi A.
- 2 outboard random voltage generators made by EMS, with wooden cases (some small scratches in the cases). The generators are not secured in the wooden cases.
- 1 pitch to voltage converter made by EMS (with wooden case). The Ch II mode pot on the pitch to voltage converter is somewhat stiff and may need lubrication. The converter is not secured in the wooden case.
- a user manual for the similar EMS Putney VCS3 Synth, which is the same as the Synthi A but in a different case. The VCS3 manual was the manual I got when I originally bought this Synthi.
- various electronic schematics
- the book "Playing The Synthi", a tutorial guide by EMS on how to use the Synthi. The binding is not very good on the book and the pages are loose.
- a handful of completed patch cards (5) and approximately 60 blank patch cards
- the patch pins as shown
- 3 control cables for connecting the outboard gear
- all original power cords"

Doepfer LFO MIDI Sync & Analog FM Glitch
YouTube via isotopeofme
"The LFO of the A-191 is triggering the envelopes. One envelope opens the VCA, the other modulates the frequency of the A-121 filter. The LFO from the pro-solo is FM-ing one VCO while the resonance of the A-122 LPF is FM-ing the other VCO for varying LFO effects each time the envelope opens. The frequency of the a-122 is being modulated by the A-147 LFO. The timing of the square LFO triggers the envelope on the upbeats. The combination of synced and free running LFOs FM-ing the VCOs provides a nice pseudo-random glitch-like accompaniment to the drum track that comes in about a quarter of the way into the video. The rest of the instrumentation joins about half way into the video to show how it fits into a full track."

Roland SPV-355 PV Synth Module
"super rare vintage 1979 Roland SPV-355 analogue pitch to CV monosynth module... Absolutely awesome sounding analogue module. Can do some really crazy stuff and is extremely flexible. Definitely one for the creative experimentalist in you. Can be used as a crazy guitar synth, voice synth, whatever-you-put-into-it synth, Pitch to CV converter i.e. you can control all your other CV/gate synths too with a guitar or another keyboard using this, or can simply be used as an analogue keyboard module by using it's CV and Gate inputs. Feed your boring drum machine through it...feed an 808 or a 909 into it etc etc. Ideal to use with the VP-330 vocoder synth. Sounds similar to the the Roland Promars and Jupiter 4 as it uses very similar architecture:
The Promars shares its unusual oscillator structure with just one other synthesizer. This is another Roland: it's the SPV355 rackmount synth. Designed as a guitar or wind synth, the SPV offered pitch-to-voltage conversion (hence the name) and an envelope follower that, in principle, allowed you to play it from other sound sources. However, in common with other instruments of the era (such as the Korg MS20) it was never very successful in this role, so it's fortunate that the SPV also offered CV and Gate inputs and outputs. This makes it an ideal expander for the modern analogue studio, and for this reason you will probably find that the SPV355 now commands a higher price than the Promars itself.
The features are all pretty well explained below but I would like to add that effecting the VCO pitch or VCF cutoff is very easy by using the LFO from your Kenton Pro Solo or pro 2000 or other MIDI to CV converter and also by hooking it up to the Pedal Control section. You can do so much with this analogue module that other synths won't do and it does most of the usual mono synth stuff very, very well."

YouTube via DrNIx123. I asked DrNIx123 what synth was used in this video and he replied:
"the synth is an Oberheim(-Viscount) OB-12 with some minimal modification to a factory preset ("A-064 Chimney" from the timbres) and the on-board arpeggiator.
I recorded it just for fun for a little review on that synth, it's nothing special but I think the "tune" is good enough for a little experiment in the video domain.

"Demo of the Future Sound Systems Decade Counter DC1 available here:
http://www.futuresoundsystems.co.nr
Model shown in video is in Eurorack format and has a highly limited pink-acrylic/black text 3mm acrylic panel.
The module sequentially counts through ten outputs (this can be cut down by patching a step output to the reset input), which can then be used to trigger envelopes, etc. in a modular system. Here, the module is used to process audio coming from the Alesis Ion, sequenced by the Elektron Machinedrum. Strange, gritty sounds can be produced by using two oscillators - one clocking the counter and the other either resetting or disabling the counter.
Please excuse the worst cameramanning ever."

Flame MIDI Talking Synth
Note this is a Noisebug listing.
"the flame midi talking synth is a small-sized midi-controlled sound module based on the analogue speakjet ? chip, produced by the u.s. company magnevation llc. originally designed for basic artificially generated speech output in american english tongue it was then refined and further developed as an 8-bit sound module with speech-like sounds and synthetic robot voices as well as beeps, alarms, noise and retro-style sci-fi sounds. due to the structure of the speakjet ? (with its complex sound synthesizer, preset sounds and serial interface) it offers an impressive range of possibilities. it contains 72 speech elements (allophones), 43 sound effects, and 12 dtm touch tones. the idea was to create sounds, patterns and sequences in the 8-bit style of the 80s or other retro sounds for making music instead of just simulating speech. most allophones can be tuned and used tonally. the flame midi talking synth contains two speakjet ? chips to produce a richer and more complex tonal variety as well as generating a pseudo stereo effect.
since the speakjet ? has not originally been laid out for the purpose of making music it is actually not fully controllable via midi input, i.e.: once sounds are triggered they cannot be directly stopped by note off messages from a midi keyboard or a sequencer. thus a midi-controlled audio tremolo has been implemented in the flame midi talking synth virtually allowing midi control and enabling an easier integration into a midi setup. the flame midi talking synth lets you play back preset words in its expander mode via an external midi keyboard or a sequencer. in addition you can use the flame midi talking synth as a stand-alone midi controller since all controls and joysticks send midi control/change data to the midi-out connector."

Tiptop Audio DSP Feedback Loops
"Sitting at the core (or left of center, depending on how you look at it) of the Z5000 VCDSP is the Tiptop Audio 24-Bit DSP. What makes it even more unique is that because the modular format allows patching to and from anywhere in a system it is fairly easy to make very interesting use of the 16 different algorithms that the DSP contains. All of the algorithms in the DSP work differently. Some handle the signal on two separate channels (like the delay effects), but the reverb algorithms, work entirely differently, mixing and processing the signal together using both processors.
Using that delightful feature, it is possible to send a signal into the left input and then feed the left output back to the module's right input that to create a wild feedback loop that makes the module to oscillate and create its own sounds and timbres, similar to the way filter resonance works. This oscillation will continue as long as the CTRL knob is set to MAX, and will decay as the knob is turned to MIN.Technically, the module should start oscillating even with out any external signal. Using a sound source, however, gives you the ability to "trigger" and control the oscillation and also blends the oscillation timbre with that of the incoming sound source.
Check out the sample below for those long oscillations fading in and out as the sound source triggers them. It's nice to hear how the sound source is changes the tone of this oscillation each time it cycles."

"Using the distance sensors on the audio cubes, I'm controlling synth parameters with one cube to "shape" the sound with my hands, then using another as an "exciter" to make the sound happen by waving my hands in front. Much as a violin needs a bow to excite the string to vibrate, and a flute needs air to make its sound, this synth I programmed in Cycling '74's Max/MSP (based on CNMAT's "resonators" object), relies on a virtual breeze from my hands to make sound."
