Roland TR-606 Drum Machine

- Roland TR-606 Drum Machine
- Original Carry Case
- Original Manual
- Original Box (No foam insert – sorry!)

Shannon's "Let the Music Play" Modded Roland TR 808 with MIDI
"This is an 808 with history. All the early Shannon hits i.e. Let The Music Play and many dance, Latin, and freestyle hits in the 80's, were in fact done on this specific 808.
We had it modified for midi in the late 80's, to make it more efficient in the studio. When we did the modification, we also had separate tone modifications done for the snare, clap, rim and kick drum. The kick drum has standard decay that ranges up to infinite decay. Although these mods were done, you can very easily turn off the midi and the machine goes back to the original form.
Legend Underground Studios" - number at the auction while up.
CREAMWARE KLANGBOX MINIMAX
via this auction
"Hard to find rack version of Creamware's ASB MiniMax, which is the synth without the knobs. All parameters have MIDI ControlChange numbers so you can edit on your own controller, so it doesn't require the computer editor. It can run standalone and be controlled by MIDI. This sounds very close, google it and check out the reviews. Also has a pair of inputs and the unit has several voices of polyphony (only one part). If your looking for MiniMoog sound and the ability to create your own patches, this has to be the most cost effective way to do so."

Steiner Synthasystem VCF PCB Re-issue

via this auction
"This is a re-issue of the rare and unique Steiner VCF bare PCB. Nyle Steiner had a big part in this project and was key in the testing and tweaking phases of the design. This PCB is a DIY project. See this website for the project details.
The PCB is a modern re-capture and professionally etched and screened PCB with high quality materials for reliability and ease of assembly. This is a BARE PCB for intermediate to advanced Do-It-Yourself'ers.
This is not a tribute, clone, or anything like it. It is a faithful re-capture of the original Synthasystem (not Synthacon) VCF with selectable Low Pass, Band Pass, and High Pass modes. The PCB is of a size which will work with all the current standard panel sizes, Euro, MOTM/DotCom, Fractional (Frac), and others. Being original, the PCB runs on +12 and-10 volt supplies, but will work with +/- 12VDC and is designed to also work with +/- 15VDC supplies. The builder has the choice of using modern components, such as monolithic NPN pairs, or all discrete transistors.
There are several PCBs available." Contact the seller or Analogue Realities for details.

This is not a tribute, clone, or anything like it. It is a faithful re-capture of the original Synthasystem (not Synthacon) VCO type A with Saw, Sine, Pulse, and Triangle outputs. Only minor modifications were made to make it friendly with current Control Voltage sources such as an on board Volt/Octave trimmer and a frequency range trimmer. Otherwise, it is the same as the original. The builder has the choice of using modern components, such as monolithic NPN pairs, or all discrete, hand matched transistors.

Moon Modular M511ac QUAD VOLTAGE CONTROLLED GATE DELAY
YouTube via moonmodular | October 08, 2010
"The M 511ac QUAD GATE DELAY combines four voltage controlled gate delay circuits in one module, which delay the incoming gate signals in a range from ca. 1 ms up to 20 seconds.
Each delay unit hat its own pair of display LEDs.
The four gate in/outputs are internally connected like this:
Output 1 goes into input 2,
output 2 goes into input 3 and
output 3 goes into input 4.
This allows complex delay combinationwithout external patching.
The 'Manual Gate' button afects delay input 1.
The time control voltage inputs are "chained":
i. e. a control voltage in the input 1 jack controls the inputs 2/3/4 as well, if there is nothing else patched.
(Input 1 is internally connected to +10 volts if nothing is patched).
Control range 0-10 volts, higher control voltages give longer delay times.

"The Smomid is an instrument created by Nick Demopoulos and it's name is an acronym for "String Modeling Midi Device. In this video I'm experimenting with the idea of using the Smomid to control drumbeats. I didn't utilize all the functions I have, but some of them include reversing the directions of all the drum samples, different rhythms for different drums, scrambling up a drumbeat and having certain drums play random rhythms. For more info about me please visit: http://www.nickdemopoulos.com/ and for info about the Smomid please visit: http://www.nickdemopoulos.com/smomide..."
Battling Seizure Robots
Battling Seizure Robots from Richard Lainhart on Vimeo.
"The HD version of a jam with Moldover at Tranzducer .011 in Brooklyn, NY, on November 30, 2007. I play my Buchla 200e/Haken Continuum system, while Moldover works out on his controllerism rig. This is a completely spontaneous, unrehearsed, undiscussed improvisation, and the first time we've ever played together; while it's camera-audio only and so not the best quality, I think it's worth checking out. The complementary video improvisation was provided by Bert Baldwin.
("Battling Seizure Robots" is the name of one of the video animations I created for this performance, which, perhaps fortunately, you don't see in this clip.)"
