"This is a Korg 707 performance synthesizer, essentially a Korg DS-8 without effects. It's a fun 4 operator FM synth with 49 velocity sensitive keys and aftertouch. What sets it apart from other FM synths is it's performance control sliders and friendlier programming interface.

It can also be strapped as a keytar, if you want to channel your inner Herbie Hancock.

"Yesterday was E-day, always inspiring, you met people who are also involved in E-music.
This little idea came up, just a combinated single 8 step and 4 step row off the Doepfer Dark Time. The 4 step row controls the Moog LP bass and the 8 step the Waldorf micro Q and at 2:36 the Roland Juno 106. Additional sounds came from the Korg DS 8/Lamda and the Kawai K1r. For the Moog I used two delay's from the Yamaha E1005 and the Ibanez DM1000 for Waldorf the Alesis Midiverb 3 triplets and also the Ibanez DM1000.
Halfway there are some variations in tone / octave settings (Berlin School style).

"A project long time coming. Dubbed, 'Toy Box' Synthesizer, this do it yourself toy synth case allows me to take the gear on the road. All keyboards are powered via power supply, so no batteries are used. Everything is velcro-ed in place so you can literally carry this around without worrying about stuff falling out. Song demo uses Korg's DS-10 demo music as well as the Bloom music app on the Apple iPod touch. Items that make up the keyboard: Casio SA-1 / PT-1 / SK-8, Nintendo DSi with Korg DS-10 plus, Korg Monotron, Apple iPod with music apps, Behringer mixer with effects on board."
