"Interested in a one of a kind Super Rare Unique Moog Modular 18 Oscillators Mean Machine ?

If you want a Moog modular this is the one.

All the most important modules are here and more. 2 complete sets of filters, 2 filterbanks and
(901c & 1630 very hard to find) among others. From late 60s to early 70s.

It’s almost like having 2 moog systems in one. ( IIIc and system 55 )+ compliment B.

All wood except the complement B is in tolex.

There’s a vintage deluxe memory-man delay on the top tier and sounds amazing. The two bottom cabinets are original the other 3 custom I Think. If you remake new cabinets this unique modular will look amazing.

I also have the joystick 🕹 and moog drum snare trigger.

It’s commes with 4 power supply the main big one original and the other 3 custom.

I didn’t have time to build the power supply for the phase shifter 1630 because the module needs -15v/+15v. Every thing is working but these old synths after shipping needs some tune up or calibration."

Moog Sound Studio: DFAM + Mother-32. 50 Combo Patches. Demo

video upload by Anton Anru

"Welcome to the soundset for a semi-modular system Moog Sound Studio: DFAM + Mother-32. It is a collection of 50 patches that include basses, drums/percussion, leads, plucks, textures, FXs.
There is a wide range of sound colors inside the pack: massive and gentle, aggressive and soft, bright and dull, melodic and inharmonic tones, straight and polymetric patterns.
🔮 Get the soundset: https://bit.ly/3x756yg

Highlights:

✅ high level of interconnection of the synths
✅ thoroughly set parameters
✅ detailed notes for patches full of tips and tricks
✅ audio examples in 3 versions: DFAM only, M-32 only, both together
✅ to recreate these patches you need up to 12 patch cords
✅ one of my hardest work ever, I spent up to 2 hours for each patch
✅ FREE BONUS: 150 samples with Scale and BPM (70-128 BPM), Wav 24/44100

The main point of the soundset is the high level of interconnection, not just syncing the two synths with independent timbres (individual presets for DFAM and Mother-32 are also available on my website). In this patchbook the timbres of the synths are soldered and can’t exist separately:
🔸 they modulate each other with LFO and Envelopes
🔸 a sequence from one synth change parameters on the other one
gates and triggers interaction breaks predictable patterns
🔸 audio signals from VCOs may be used as modulation sources to create harmonies/intervals or crazy experimental inharmonic tones
🔸 or they may be used just as audio sources that go to the other synth to be processed with its (different) filter and envelope and get the «second life».

At the same time, they play different and clear roles, it’s not a sound mess, but two synths working in close cooperation.

AJH Synth Patch of The Week Videos

video uploads by AJH Synth Official

Videos by supoorting member, DreamsOfWires.

Playlist: 1. Patch of The Week: The Sonic XV's Wave Folder - So many tones from just 1 VCO's Triangle wave
'Sonic Arps': The Sonic XV Transistor Diode Ladder Filter has a built-in Wave Folder, and in this video I'm using an arpeggiator in random mode to show the many subtle flavours of sound it can achieve from just a simple triangle wave from a single VCO. I will also pull a huge variety of timbres from a sine wave in a similar fashion.
The filter is a re-creation and expansion of the VCF from the Musonics Sonic V (5) synth of the 1970's (predecessor of the Moog Sonic Six), and shares a similar character to that of the EMS Synthi and VCS3, also being early diode filters. Bearing that in mind you might expect it to produce aggressive tones and chaotic feedback, which it can do well enough, but you might not have expected that it can also be very subtle, organic and warm in character, particularly well-suited to melodic arps/patterns and percussive sounds. With the added wave shaping functionality that wasn't present on the original, along with 24dB and 6dB low pass modes, and band pass filtering, this module packs a lot of tone shaping into 14hp.

Index:
00:00 'Sonic Arps'
00:34 Introduction
01:01 Assembling the patch
01:39 Sounds & Settings
04:33 Patch Sheet

A PDF file of the patch can be downloaded here: https://kvisit.com/8AE/xfUG

Patch notes:
Green dots show approximate pot and switch positions. Where a pot has two dots, this illustrates the range I move them during the video. Pots and switches that do not have green dots are not used in this patch, and should be left at their zero or off positions.
I'm using the VCA as a mixer so that I can use the outputs from both the BP and 6dB outputs of the Sonic XV. Notice in the video they are set at different volumes at different points depending on the sound - you will need to adjust this too, as different combinations of IN LEVEL, IN MIX, IN WAVE, and filter settings can make a significant difference to volume levels.
Modules used from left to right: Vintage Transistor Core VCO, Sonic XV, Contour Generators, Discrete Cascaded VCA.
2. Patch of the Week: 'Schulze School' - Melodic Eurorack performance + 'how-to' guide & patch sheet
This week's patch makes use of the V-Shape wave shaper/wave folder to sculpt the great analogue tone of the MiniMod VCO to create some delicate timbres that reminds us of Klaus Schulze's mesmerising sounds created on his sequencer-driven Moog modular synth systems in the 1970's. It also makes particular use of the Ring SM as a sub oscillator generator, and the rich tones of the Sonic XV diode filter.

Check out the AJH Synth playlists for more 'Patch of The Week' videos, which will be either performances or 'how to' guides detailing a range of sounds, some familiar, some less so, and each containing a patch sheet at the end to show you how to construct it for yourself.
3. Patch of the Week: 'Singing Gemini' - Dual Analogue VCF as a Dual Sine Wave VCO How to & patch sheet
This patch uses each of the 2 analogue filters of the Gemini as a dual VCO, self-oscillating, so that they produce sine waves and can be sequenced melodically using the Korg SQ-1 or any analogue step sequencer. This guide shows you how to make this patch, along with a patch sheet at the end. It is one of the many ways you can use just a couple of Eurorack modules to make music, as modular synthesis can be rewarding even with a minimal gear list.

Voltage Modular VM900 System 35 Sequence

video upload by boxoftextures

"Built a Moog System 35 modular system using the VM900 Collection modules in Voltage Modular. Essentially the System 35 is one row of modules, but in this case I've also added the Sequencer Complement B Expansion Cabinet as well. I've also built the larger System 55, which adds another row of modules to the cabinet, and am planning to make the smaller Model 15 as well. Can't quite duplicate them exactly but they're darn close. One of the things that's not the same is the signal routing modules, which aren't in Voltage Modular, although to be fair you don't at all need them in the software version the way you do in hardware. Another difference is that there's "only" a selection of modules as opposed to everything Moog ever made. That's also not a problem either. As an example, the 921ABB dual oscillator module in the System 35 isn't included in the VM900 Collection, but the 921ABBB from the System 55 is, so while not 100% authentic you can just pretend your System 35 doesn't have those extra B oscillators. Another difference is the keyboard interface modules, but again, because this is software that's not really a problem. Lastly the half-height row of the cabinet, the one at the bottom with the Console Panels, isn't part of either Voltage Modular or the VM900 Collection. But once again, that's not really an issue as you do have the functionality of those modules in the software regardless.

This video was recorded uninterrupted from start to finish, with no cuts or edits in the video at all. Note that it takes a few minutes to patch together enough modules for the thing to actually make noises, perhaps around 5 minutes or so. Also, I start from the bare System 35 and patch it all from scratch, with captions and highlights to show what I'm doing. Downloadable patch files will be posted for my Patreon subscribers shortly, so if you'd like to grab those head on over there and join up if you'd like."

Phosphenes (DiN65) by Dave Bessell & Parallel Worlds

https://dinrecords.bandcamp.com/album/phosphenes-din65

"The names of Dave Bessell & Parallel Worlds should be familiar to aficionados of the DiN label with various solo & collaborative albums under their belts. “Phosphenes” see these two well respected musicians team up for their third collaborative release on DiN.

Following on from Morphogenic (DiN41, 2012) & Dystopia (DiN56, 2018) this new album builds on their previous work creating an imaginary Synthwave soundtrack. Bakis Sirros the mastermind behind Parallel Worlds provides the skittering rhythmic backdrop to the tracks over which he and Bessell overlay ominous bass lines, twisting melodies and creative sound design that recall a shadow of 1980s John Carpenter film scores. Bessell also adds his unique guitar style that he so effectively uses in his other well known side project with the synth quartet Node. Both musicians make extensive use of modular synth systems but in very different ways that perfectly blend together in these eight atmospheric tracks.

The duo of Bessell and Sirros really do have a unique sound that is unlike anything else released in the world of electronic music and “Phosphenes” presents another chance to enter their darkly twisted sonic world.

Synth Wizards Interviews: Michael Boddicker

Published on Dec 15, 2019 Syntaur

"Michael Boddicker has performed and composed on an insane number of hit records, television shows, and feature films, from Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' to 'Fatal Attraction'. He graciously spent an afternoon showing us his scoring studio, his amazing modular synths, and even his attic."

"Just in the modular department, we saw during our interview his Moog System 55, Moog Model 15, e-mu Modular, Buchla modular, and I think he also had a Serge tucked away. We saw literally thousands of pieces of gear while strolling through his attic. He's very passionate about music and synths, and has had an amazing career putting all of this stuff to work. It was a very fun interview.'

Sounds of the Seventies Jam (full version) all-analogue Eurorack Modular

Published on Nov 5, 2019 DreamsOfWires

"Live/real-time performance with a 70's-inspired Eurorack modular system, including AJH Synth modules based on a complete R.A.Moog era Minimoog and the 914 fixed filter bank from the Moog Model 55 modular synth. Turn on Subtitles for commentary.

I listen to a lot of so-called 'Berlin school' electronic music that featured these instruments, but I could never afford the originals, so having such a quality instrument in Eurorack format that's this close in terms of sound and technology is really special. This rig is closer to a Model 15 in terms of modules, but goes way beyond it in features and capabilities. The AJH Fixed Filter Bank 914 also has more functionality than its namesake, and my next video will spotlight this filtering monster, explaining a little more about what it does.

All modules are by AJH Synth, and I've also used their Precision Voltages, Ring SM, and Wave Swarm in this composition.

Sequences are driven by an Arturia Keystep, and overlaying notes played manually from a USB keyboard into an Expert Sleepers FH-2, then into the modular.

Recorded into AUM on an iPad, using Audio Damage Dubstation 2 delay and ShimmerFX reverb.

Mammoth 5MU System With Many Extras - Smegmar The Medicant & Sysyphus

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

List of modules at the listing and captured below.

"Large-format modular system offers: 40 modules of various brands and 150 Synthesizer.com modules. In addition, there are various power-related modules, mounted in the front and the rear.

The system is 275 MU’s front face panels spaces plus 32-more in the rear. Featuring: 27 full-range multi-waveform oscillators, 12-filters, 3 discrete MIDI interfaces, and 4 sequencers. ( not including the Matrixbrute features)

It has taken over a year to purchase and assemble all of the modules: this system is completely ready to use. Most of this system is housed in solid walnut cabinetry.

There are a few modules I bought in used condition, but the rest are new purchases. The cabinetry, controllers, and cabling are all new. After assembly, this system has not been moved, exposed to smoke, or touched by anyone but me.

The entire system is in excellent condition, with a couple of VERY minor scuffs where modules have been periodically installed and/or relocated...

History: I first purchased a Moog System-55 re-issue modular. I discovered Synthesizers.com when doing a simple google search. I learned their clone of the Moog Dual Sequencer Compliment wing was not only superior to that of the Moog’s, it was nearly 1/3 the price. So from there, I bought a System 66 and A/Bd both the tonal and functionality aspects of each to discover the Synthesizers.com sounded better to my ears, had more functions, and was more stable. I sold the Moog, and steadily expanded the system it is today.

I am 100% satisfied with this system.

It would take upwards of 6 months to get all of these modules (and a couple of these you may not able to get at all) and a significant amount of time to install and wire the modules, and assemble the large manual binder.

It also took 2 full days to convert 16 of the modules into their revised versions, yet I have not added the price of the conversion kits to the list below."
