Hallowtone
video upload by nbor
"I've been slowing making a sampler instrument using a chromatically sampled acoustic guitar, activated with an ebow. After some major editing work, I loaded the notes into a sampler and did a bit of sweetening. I use MPE in the Bitwig sampler to tame the sounds and mix them in stereo. Sweetened with a bit of Newfangled Elevate."
Coagulate - Prophet Ambient Ethereal Jam
video upload by Postmodern Machine
"This feels like a long winter! 🌨❄️
Initially part of some experiments feeding the prophet 10 into the modular, this piece paired so well with some tree branches in the wind 🌳
The Prophet is fed into the modular, through Monsoon (Clouds), and through the Strymon Magneto. A little Meris Polymoon is also sprinkled on top. This performance has no mixing effects ITB, only a bit of mastering.

SUPERBOOTH22 and SOOPERgrail Presale Tickets Start Today
BE SOOPER - electric get to gathering: 12.-14. May at FEZ-Berlin
The international trade fair for electronic musical instruments will take place in spring again; the presale for SUPERBOOTH22 and SOOPERgrail starts today.
After the Corona troubles, SUPERBOOTH22 shows itself clearly developed for the anniversary event. At the trade fair with festival character there will be deep insights into the professional world of electronic music and its instruments, their application and development, as well as workshops for students and young people.
Over three full days SUPERBOOTH22 presents itself in a new scale and with a special atmosphere. The area surrounding the FEZ-Berlin offers outdoor exhibition tents, bungalows, concert and presentation stages in the spacious park area. So far, 150 exhi- bitors showcase electronic musical instruments and everything else needed for handma- de and electronic music in the main building and around it. For the first time, there will also be SOOPERgrail as an independent trade fair dedicated to the art of guitar building.
The founder HerrSchneider on this:
„Last September‘s SUPERBOOTH21 was described by all participants as the best yet, despite a lower number of visitors. We want to reflect on this again for our anniversary and would like to surpass it. The possible expansion to a trade fair for other (musical) instruments at the Berlin location holds great potential: Techno and electronic music continue to be our basis, but the respectful mixing with the craft of other professions opens many new doors.“

Interesting pic of the back of the controller below.
"6 voice polyphonic analog synth with dedicated controller for real-time editing of the sound parameters.
Synth has been fitted with Tauntek v1.20 firmware (praise this guy for all the work he does for many great electronic instrument). Unit has been serviced and adjusted. Working and sounding as it should. It can run on 100-110-220-240v.
It comes with a dedicated programmer developped by one man (praise him too for that) based on arduino: Alpes Machines Matrix CTRLR
32 knobs and 29 switches to edit ALL the paramaters of the synth including the matrix. You can control up to 4 units (Matrix 6, 6R or 1000) with the same controller and you can store 1000 users presets. And it furthermore adds a great arpeggiator and sequencer. Definitely bring the synth to another dimension.
The controller works perfectly with just an occasional minor bug: screen prints funny caracter or no caracter at all. It resolves by flipping pages on the display or switching the unit off and on. It has no impact on the controller itself or the synth.

Euclidean Rhythms with Roboaux 3PT and Dreadbox Dysphonia - #jamuary 18 2022
video upload by Tum Tum
"I'm still putting this new 3PT module from Robaux through its paces. This time it's in the Euclidean rhythm setting, dividing the clock source into all the various triggers you're hearing. I did layer it up a bit so it wasn't all live but I'm still pretty impressed with how much these three modules are able to deliver."

New Bragi Modular Wyrd Matrix Mixer with A Questionable Logo
New maker and new module. Note the logo resembles an older Valhalla DSP logo. Below is a message from Sean Costello of Valhalla on the matter.
This one was spotted and sent in via Soviet Space Child.
via Bragi Modular
WYRD is a compact 4×4 matrix mixer built for performers.
The feature that sets it apart from most other matrix mixers is the performance focused offset fader at the bottom. The fader let’s you offset all four outputs (Marked A-B-C-D) with 5 volts in either positive or negative direction. This way you can set up quite complex modulation chains and then use the fader to affect all outputs. Perfect for live interaction.
WYRD is DC coupled and while it is aimed at mixing CV signals as mentioned above, it works great for audio as well. In case you want to mix audio signals, make sure to place the fader in the center. The fader has a center detent and will null in the middle position, letting you easily disengage it from the outputs.
All high quality components from mechanical parts like the pots and fader, to the electronic componets.
The panel is made of annodized, black aluminium with laser engraved graphics. This combination is very strong, the graphics will never fade or tear.
The small size for a matrix mixer and the very low power consumption makes it the perfect complex mixing source for your live or compact rig.:

And a note from Sean Costello on Gearspace:
Hi! Sean from Valhalla here.
We need to point out that our older logo is:
- still in use
- is still in use in commerce, in the Eurorack space (as pointed out by the photo of the Z-DSP cartridge from Valhalla earlier in the thread)
- and is a registered trademark of Valhalla DSP, LLC.
The US trademark registration number of the old logo is 4681428. The newer helmet logo's registration number is 6567032.
Here's our blog post about the history of our logos. It is worth noting that the helmet logo dates back to 2002, and was first associated with the name "Valhalla" in a Reaktor ensemble from 2003.
https://valhalladsp.com/2020/06/23/s...lhalla-design/
Here's one of the listings for the Halls of Valhalla cartridge for the Z-DSP, as being actively sold on a major US modular vendor's website. Notice that the older logo is in use on this product.
https://www.controlvoltage.net/tipto...lla-for-z.html
One of the things about US trademarks is that they have to be defended in order to retain their legal status. Please consider this a polite public request to change your logo to something that does not closely resemble either of Valhalla DSP's trademarked helmet logos.
It is obvious from the public responses in this thread that people think that your current logo closely resembles our logo, and it would be best to not have the likelihood of confusion around our logo in a market that we both participate in.
Thanks,
Sean Costello

And and Official statement from Bragi Modular in response:
First things first: We definitely have zero bad intentions regarding this matter. We are not looking to step on anyone's toes.
A quick history of our logo and brand: We are based in Aarhus, Denmark, which has a very rich cultural heritage littered with rune stones and history related to the viking period, when the town was also founded. This is something very close to our hearts. Our logo itself is an original illustration by us, inspired by the modern depiction of a viking helmet.
We are currently considering our options and will open up a friendly dialogue with Valhalla DSP to solve this matter.
Thank you for your comments so far in this thread.

Torso T-1 Performance Demo with Spitfire´s new GAIKA - War Island pack
video upload by Thoow
"While further exploring the possibilities of the Torso T-1 I received an email form Spitfire Audio with their latest release: GAIKA - War Island. A perfect start point for an easy setup. After quickly arranging different sounds of the pack across the 16 tracks in my T-1 template I was ready to put some triggers here and there. Hit record on the cams - and here we are. So easy and so much fun to create stuff with the T-1. I am just touching the surface here and use mostly mutes to change interest. But there are way more option with Cycles, randomization and probabilities...."

V.A.I. 67 CRB Computerband 2000 / CRB Oberon
video upload by Vintage Audio Institute Italia
"Another little track we threw together with these rare oddballs.
The CRB Computerband 2000 is a four section auto-accompaniment stand-alone unit usually built in to big, furniture style home organs.
The CRB Oberon is a monophonic synthesizer made in a very limited run by the same company around the same time. It has two oscillators plus an added 3rd more limited and with 4 footages it can get quite big, but this time around we wanted a more delicate lead sound out of it."
