Bass Station + SEQtrak technofunk!
video upload by Jeremy Parker
"So I'm still borrowing this Bass Station 2 from @TheEntireRobot and enjoying it very much in combination with the Yamaha SEQtrak. I'm running the audio from the Bass Station into the SEQtrak input, so the Yamaha master effects (high pass filter and repeater in my case) can act on the Bass Station and really make everything sound cohesive. I'm 'borrowing' the SEQtrak sampler track (MIDI channel 11) for sequencing the Bass Station MIDI, which leaves my hands free to twist knobs and have some fun. Enjoy!"

Minimoog Prototype Exhibit Coming to the Moogseum For One Weekend Only!

via The Bob Moog Foundation
"We are excited to announce the Minimoog Prototype Exhibit at the Moogseum for one weekend only. The exhibit is offered in partnership with the Museum of Music Technology (MMT), which proudly stewards the four prototypes as part of its vast collection of synthesizers and other music technology in Harleysville, Pennsylvania. The temporary exhibit will take place November 14th - November 16th, 2025, marking the 55th anniversary of the first Minimoog being shipped on November 19, 1970.
Members of the MMT staff will be on hand to answer questions about the prototypes. Tickets are $16 per person. The Moogseum is extending its hours to accommodate the interest in the exhibit, and will be open from 10-6 all three days. Advance ticket reservations are strongly encouraged.
The Minimoog began in 1969 as the “Min A”, a five-module unit created by R.A. Moog Co. engineer, Bill Hemsath, to provide easy demonstrations for the larger famed Moog modular systems. Just over a year later, and after three subsequent iterations and the involvement of several engineers, the Minimoog was in production.
Come learn about the fascinating progression of this iconic analog synth, talk to the people who understand the deep history, and see the four ultra-rare prototypes in person!
Reserve your tickets here."
Also there's one week left to go on the Bob Moog Foundation Fundraising Raffle For Vintage Minimoog Signed by Todd Rundgren [link to video].

Discover the POWER of Feedback with Isobar's Umbra
video upload by Metamyther
"Discover Umbra, the cutting-edge stereo feedback accumulator designed for adventurous sound designers, new from Isobar. With its unique approach to feedback through a send and return effect loop, Umbra opens up massive sonic possibilities, delivering everything from subtle textures to chaotic walls of sound."
00:00 - Intro
01:20 - Vhikk X Example
04:46 - Drum Example
06:49 - Saturation
07:35 - Multigrain
08:17 - Cursus Melody
"Umbra is a dual channel feedback processor with three discrete transistor core VCA pairs. Route any eurorack-level effects, compressors or filters through its send/return paths to create feedback loops ranging from subtle textured echoes to howling walls of sound. The input level VCA is positioned before the feedback circuit, allowing time based sounds to fade naturally when the VCA is closed. A soft clipping stage after all feedback keeps levels controlled while adding nonlinearities and character. The left-right channel normalling allows for both mono-to-stereo or true stereo operation.
Features:
- Discrete transistor core VCAs for input gain (L and R), VCA pair for return gain, and VCA pair for feedback amount.
- Switchable between stereo operation and serial mono operation, where the output of the left channel enters the input on the right channel, doubling up on feedback and processing, indicated by the color of the LEDs. Orange L and R channels = Stereo operation, Orange L channel, Blue R channel = Serial operation
- Asymmetric diode soft clipping distortion at output.
Level LEDs for input level and return level, to keep feedback, drive and gain under control.
Uses:
- Adding a filter, filter bank, delay, reverb, waveshaper, or any other effect into the feedback loop.
- Heavy soft clipping distortion.
- No input feedback mixing.
- 3 stage VCA with distortion"
demo of the b4Modular Series 7 synthesizer part 1 / 2 : the suitcase
video upload by elektronengehirn
"The diy modular synthesizer in a suitcase which Malte Steiner developed between 2024 and 2025. The goal was to build a cheap modular system mainly for live concerts, which is repairable and can go into Checkin Luggage without much worries (something you don't do with Eurorack). So far it is used for several concerts by the projects Elektronengehirn and Notstandskomitee in Berlin and Helsinki, and local Jam sessions here in Aalborg. It is build in a Nanuk 923 case which can remove the lid, the rails are made of wood and wood screws, the front plates are 3D printed.
The system features 2 analog Oscillators / LFOs, one digital oscillator with 6 different modes, an oscillator bank with 6 square waves, triple clock module, 3 slew limiters, a lowpass filter, tone control filter, wave folder, one ring mod / wave folder, 5 VCAs, crossfader, mixer, 2 pressure sensors, a trigger button, unity and gates mixer.
See it in action at this Notstandskomitee concert in Helsinki:"

The Tiny Modular Synth That Stole The Show
video upload by EZBOT
"Building a modular system is a tedious and often expensive experience. Just when you think you’ve collected all the modules you dreamed of, you find yourself swapping them out for the next new thing. But every once in a while, you land on an idea that sticks—one that feels so good you might even leave it patched for a very long time. That’s exactly what happened with this small modular case, which I paired with the Digitakt II, Digitone II, and the Elektron Octatrack. The purpose of the case was to give me a sound palette larger than life—something I could play with my hands, not just with voltage or MIDI."

Using the upper touch keyboard of the sublime @genesynths Polygene II gives such lovely raw oscillator tones. @ChaseBlissAudio Lossy + Onward + @walrusaudioeffects Slöer breaks, shifts and widens the sound. There's 4 different loops on the @torsoelectronics S-4, two of which make use of the filterbank, which can take field recordings and turn them into something harmonic. No talking on this one, just synth, synth, synth ❤️"
Polyend Tracker Mini Aluminum | Three songs in metal and glass
video upload by Jay Hosking
"Please support my work on Patreon: / jayhosking
Three drum & bass-ish songs performed live with the Polyend Tracker Mini Anniversary edition.
I've been a fan of Polyend's Tracker line for a while, and the newest iterations—with stereo samples and internal synths—have basically everything I want in one package. So when Polyend announced they were making a Tracker Mini out of metal and glass, with vastly improved buttons, I pre-ordered one for myself. The weakest part of the Mini was definitely the build quality, and I loved the idea of a premium portable Tracker.
A little later, Mitch from Polyend reached out and asked if I wanted to get my Tracker Mini Aluminum early, in hopes that I could show it to others. Seemed like a good excuse to create a bunch of music, and hopefully allow others to see what the device was like before launch.
So here are three songs on the Tracker Mini Aluminum. I started by making my own drum breaks and slicing them in the Mini. The drum one-shots and a lot of the melodic content came from Polyend's own Palettes storefront, which has some great sample food for writing. The rest of the melodic ideas came from a recent community sample pack we made for my Patreon, entitled "Loop Food". Altogether, I was up and writing songs very fast.
Once I had the Tracker Mini Aluminum, I started to figure out the arrangements. Song mode is another section where I really appreciate it over other devices; it's got quirks, but it's fast and powerful and helps me get to the finish line.
I could sort of say that about the Polyend Tracker line-up in general: it has quirks, it's occasionally fickle, but the firmware is relatively mature and it has a great combination of sound, power, and performability.
Thanks for listening.
Recorded multitrack via the Tracker Mini's USB output. Some additional sweetening on the internal synths (e.g. chorus on the pads, where noted). EQ, compression, and limiting on the master.
