You can find the interview on Sequential's website here.
"GLASYS (Gil Assayas) is a pianist, synthesist, producer and vocalist who delivers intricate, virtuosic keyboard parts, electronic soundscapes, and impassioned vocals in one package that combines his many influences including Electronic music, Alternative Rock, Jazz, and Classical music. Since playing his first solo show two year ago, GLASYS has been endorsed by major gear manufacturers such as Sequential, Nord Keyboards, and Spectrasonics, and has developed a large social media presence with over two million total video views. GLASYS has also been featured on the Grammys® website, and has had his song “The Pressure” played at a Portland Trailblazers NBA game. Recently, he was discovered by Hip-Hop giant T-Pain on reddit and the two are now collaborating. GLASYS is also currently touring with legendary 70s-80s band Utopia, led by Todd Rundgren."

GLASYS - Sequential Prophet XL Performance
Published on Feb 13, 2020 Sequential
"Our friend GLASYS stopped by the office while on tour and we were lucky enough to have him play a few of his songs for us! www.youtube.com/c/glasys https://www.instagram.com/glasysmusic/
1. Sheik's Theme from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - this patch uses both layers A and B in mono mode (8 voices). An expression pedal brings the higher pitched sparkle in and out while the mod wheel controls the cutoff of an underlying pad.
2. Saxophobe - this patch is based on a reversed sax sample that's modulating a sine wave's frequency. The actual sample isn't in the mix, only the sine.
3. Vinyl Piano - a piano sample that's frequency modulated by noise and an LFO with a slightly closed filter."

GLASYS ft. T-Pain - Brinstar Underground Depths (Down For The Count) // Super Metroid Hip Hop Cover
GLASYS
"I finally collaborated with T-Pain! On a Metroid cover no less.
Download / stream here: https://fanlink.to/glasys_tpain
3 years ago T-Pain commented on a video of mine on Reddit and said he wanted to work together. We spent some time in the studio and went back and forth on a few different ideas, but nothing really happened until I sent him this Super Metroid live cover / remix of mine which he loved and immediately agreed to add vocals to.
This is the "Lower Brinstar" theme from the iconic 1994 Nintendo SNES game. I tracked my part live, playing all the sounds simultaneously. T-Pain then wrote lyrics and added some awesome vocals and harmonies in his signature autotune style.
I decided to release this track together with my other video game covers as well as originals that I performed in YouTube videos. The name of the album is "Off Screen - Video Recordings" and you can find it on most platforms (the Bandcamp version has the most tracks because not all the covers could be licensed for streaming).

Made A Christmas Song In One Hour (From Scratch #2)
GLASYS
"I tried to write a Christmas song for the first time in my life, in only one hour. Things got weird... quickly.
This is the second video in my new series 'From Scratch'. The first vid didn't do too well because I think it was too long, so I trimmed this one even more. I would LOVE your feedback, so please let me know what works / doesn't work in your opinion... I wanna improve the format. And if you have ideas for future episodes, please share them in the comments.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays! :)

GLASYS: The Hydrasynth is a Beast! I Created an Entire Track With It
GLASYS
"The ASM Hydrasynth is a very deep and unique synthesizer and has quickly become one of my new favorites. Here's a tune I wrote called "The Hydra" that was made using nothing but 8 patches I programmed on this synth.
I recorded it pretty spontaneously, the main melody/pad sound was improvised and recorded without a click, I then started overdubbing the other sounds. Since nothing was recorded to a grid, the timing is pretty dynamic and... human. :)
I created the Hydra background in Photoshop out of some ancient Greek art.
Hope you enjoy!"
