Nord Lead: A sequenced melody is modulated, with its output sent through a ‪@gfisys‬ Specular Tempus for reverb.

Strings: Supplied by the MOTIF-RACK ES.

SP‑404MKII: Connected to the computer via USB and triggered from Ableton Live over MIDI. HADOU is assigned as the master effect. The output runs through the ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ MOOD MK II, where it’s drenched in reverb, pitch‑shifted, and glitched with micro‑loops for dramatic effect.

SIRIN: Its arpeggio is also driven by MIDI from Ableton and sent through ‪@gfisys‬ SPECULAR TEMPUS for deep shimmer reverb.

Prophet‑10: Harmonies are played via MIDI, with additional single‑note lines performed live. The signal is processed with reverb from a ‪@strymon‬ blueSky."

The Prophet-10 is played through ‪@strymon‬ blueSky to add reverb.

On norns, I create sequence phrases with awake, and the output is routed through ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOSSY and ‪@gfisys‬ SPECULAR TEMPUS. The sequence phrases are dynamically modified using grid. I change the timbre with awake and further process the sound with filters on LOSSY, while SPECULAR TEMPUS applies delay."

The Prophet-10 plays synth pads with reverb applied through blueSky.

On the OP-1 field, synths are performed with tape effects added via GENERATION LOSS MKII.

The guitar is recorded with an NT-4 microphone and further processed with reverb and other effects in the DAW."

A piece built from park ambience where cicadas sing—heard against the memory of a summer so hot that, these days, even the cicadas in Tokyo seldom call.

This year in Tokyo the heat has been relentless, and opportunities to hear cicadas have become scarce.

Harmony and melodies are performed on the ‪@NordKeyboards‬ Nord Lead and Rhodes.
The field recordings are re-recorded into the ‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field and transformed using its onboard filter and an ‪@KORG_INC‬ NTS-1 for additional processing."

The Rhodes MK2 is processed with chorus via the ‪@BOSSinfoglobal‬ CE-5 and delay via ‪@strymon‬ TIMELINE.

The Prophet-10 is run through blueSky for reverb, with phrases composed of a mix of MIDI sequences and live playing.

The OP-1 field triggers MIDI sequences while its built-in NITRO effect applies filtering, and ‪@gfisys‬ SPECULAR TEMPUS adds Shimmer Reverb. Variations in the intensity of the shimmer and the opening and closing of the filter cause the same harmony to resonate differently."
