"Ambient electronica where a Prophet-10 performance blends with lo-fi noise from an AM radio.

This piece was created with the Prophet-10, Field Kit, and OP-1 field.

The Prophet-10 is connected to the MICROCOSM and performed with a subtle amount of the HAZE effect and reverb.

On the Field Kit, the built-in AM tuner is slowly swept with an LFO to create a regularly pulsing rhythm from the radio signal. The AUX output is sent to the monotron DELAY for delay, while the MASTER output is processed through the blueSky with reverb.

On the OP-1 field, a synth lead is performed. Delay and reverb from LOST+FOUND are used to create a lo-fi texture.

"The Miltone 4EXP turned a lot of heads at Superbooth back in May and I was interested to cover it my channel, so they kindly let me borrow two of the prototypes to test them out.

The 4EXP is a component level clone of the legendary Oberheim Four Voice (FVS-1) done to a very high standard (and price) as either a stand alone synthesizer or as an expander to turn an original Four Voice into an Eight Voice.

Lo-Fi Electronica with Granular Piano & Soft Synths | Touch the moon 2026-09-30 by atnr

"An electronica piece where lo-fi piano textures overlap with quiet harmonies.

This piece was created with the OP-1 field, norns shield, volca fm2, and Omnisphere 2.

On the OP-1 field, a phrase is played using the ENDLESS sequencer and processed with reverb through the blueSky.

On the norns shield, a piano performance is recorded into graintopia and played back with granular processing. The output is connected to the Chase Bliss LOST+FOUND for delay and reverb.

The volca fm2 is processed through the Guyatone AE-5 for echo, followed by reverb through the MICROCOSM. The PHRASE LOOPER in the MICROCOSM is also used to capture and repeat phrases.

The remaining parts are built in Ableton Live using Omnisphere 2.

Lo-Fi Electronica with Piano Fragments and Glitch Textures | Forgotten Keys 2026-09-29 by atnr

"An electronica piece built from fragmented piano sounds and layered lo-fi textures.

This piece was created with the EP-133 K.O. II and microKORG S.

Twelve piano samples are loaded into the EP-133 K.O. II. An eight-bar loop is played while Punch-in FX adds noise and glitch effects. The output is also processed through the MICROCOSM with reverb while sounds from the PHRASE LOOPER are layered over the loop.

The microKORG S is processed through the Chase Bliss LOST+FOUND with delay and reverb, creating sustained tones with a lo-fi texture.

"An electronica piece built from twisting rhythm patterns and tightly repeating loops.

This piece was created with the volca fm2, TR-08, and OP-1 field.

On the volca fm2, two patterns are switched during playback while the NIGHTSKY adds filtering and reverb.

On the OP-1 field, a short-decay sequence is looped using the ENDLESS sequencer. A loop recorded with the MICROCOSM PHRASE LOOPER is layered over it while being played back in reverse.

On the TR-08, a rhythm pattern is played while the MOOD MKII applies pitch shifting.

Klaus Schulze Tribute Vol. 2 for Korg Wavestate continues the journey into the sound world of classic Berlin School electronic music.

This second chapter is dedicated to the atmosphere, movement and musical language connected to Klaus Schulze, one of the most influential names in electronic music history.

The soundset includes 40 melodic and atmospheric Performances for Korg Wavestate hardware and Wavestate Native, designed for musicians who want evolving sequences, complex arpeggios, warm leads, large polys, strings and deep atmospheric pads.

The direction is clear: classic and modern Berlin sequences, modular-style motion, expressive solo sounds, cinematic pads and long-form electronic textures.

This library was inspired by the spirit of works such as Crystal Lake, Are You Sequenced?, Mirage, Body Love, Velvet Voyage and other classic electronic productions.

He Put 6 Classic Synths Inside the MiniFreak

"Can the Arturia MiniFreak recreate the character of six classic synths? With the V5 update and custom wavetables, I’m bringing tones from the *Minimoog, Prophet-5, Juno-106, Jupiter-8, Korg DW-8000 and Oberheim OB-X into the MiniFreak.

There’s more to an oscillator than a perfect saw or square wave. We’ll hear how different source waveforms affect the sound, explore the Juno’s bass bump, and combine pulse, saw and sub waves for some properly vintage tones.

Along the way, I demonstrate importing wavetables, compare classic oscillator flavours and explain why holding back on modulation and effects can help capture that vintage character.

These aren’t exact emulations—the filters and envelopes still play their part—but there’s plenty of character to explore.
