via the listing: "This is a 120 volt US version Yamaha CS-15 which was dead when I bought it. The keyboard controller IC was shot, which is essentially the kiss of death for these CS models because that IC is no longer available anywhere. Five Star Engineering in Mesa was able to construct and install a component controller from scratch. One of the LEDs was busted and another didn't light so all the red LEDs were removed and replaced with BLUE ones. This is now a healthy and fully operational synth in need of a little cosmetic TLC."

"The legendary CR-78 drum machine with modifications. A previous owner added a LED readout on the front that counts the number of measures that have been played. The Green button resets the counter. There are individual audio outputs for kick and snare and 2 additional IOs with combinations of instruments. There are some 3 position switches that I have not been able to figure out their function. There are some concentric pots that seem to affect the snare drum. One seems to be filter cut-off, but I'm not sure what the other is for. Unit is 220 volt with European style wall plug. I used a voltage transformer to operate."

via the seller: "Aside from the normal Moog stuff, this thing has two KILLER features that set it apart from other synths. One is the aftertouch - if you press harder on a key after you play it, modulation sets in. On modern keyboards, aftertouch is a gimmick that I almost never use, but for some reason on this thing I use it a lot. I guess it's the lightness of the keys or something, but I find it super easy to pick out single notes from a chord and "express" them with aftertouch.

Even better is the polyphony feature. Playing an analog synth live means you always wish you had a second note (very few true vintage analog synths make more than one note at a time, including the Minimoog). But this thing has a polyphony feature. As I understand it, it's sort of like a built in organ type divide down system, and it's not true polyphony in that you don't get a second note that sounds the same as the primary note…but who cares! However it works, you can play fat sounding chords and grace notes unavailable to you on a minimoog.

On the extension on the left hand, you get some exceptionally useful controls, most notably the ribbon controller. As I say, I always play it tabletop like a regular keyboard, but I my left hand can still access all the controls on the extension just fine.

The body is made of wood, probably mahogany. It feels like a 70s Gibson…because it was made by the same people I assume. The Liberation is surprisingly light. Not at all a chore to strap on. It's 50lbs in the case with the supply, but by itself it's comfy.

As you can see, this one has been around the block a few times, but it's in perfect working condition. Power supply - fine, controls, fine, keyboard - fine. No noise or broken sliders. In the case, you'll find the power supply, and a ridiculously long cable that goes from the supply to the keyboard - the thing has got to be 50 feet long! There's a normal 1/4" output on the power supply to your amp."

"Some years ago I made a little bass synthesizer. However, it doesn't work completely flawless: There are some bad triggers now and then especially if the keys are played in a staccato fashion.

In this video I add some capacitors to the switches as an attempt to solve this problem (it did get better) and at the same time I do the demo that I forgot to do in the video where I build the instrument.

The music is something I made more than 10 years ago. I use Yamaha HE-8 Organ and Roland JX-8P synthesizer. But the special gizmo in this production is the arpeggiator that runs up and down the chords. It was a program demo I downloaded called ARP-X8 made by Techno Toys."

Last picture shows the bottom of this pannel and wires have ben cut off. I would appreciate an email from any ebayer who knows what this device could have done to the sound.

A beast analog monophonic/polyphonic synth. It has 4 VCO's which can be shared in 4-voice Polyphonic mode, or linked in Unison for a versatile monophonic lead. Each VCO has its own level, tune, and waveform type control. Waveforms include triangle, sawtooth, variable pulse wave. It has a great VCF (filter) section as well as 2 envelope generators (one for the oscillators and one for the filter). There are also 2 individual LFO's which can be used to modulate the Pulse Width, envelope and Arpeggiator independently.

Other cool tricks up its sleeve include chord memory and an effects mode in which oscillators have a variety of ways to be synced. The built-in arpeggiator and sequencer can run all 4 VCO's at a time or cycle through each voice per note. There's also portamento, CV/Gate, VCF and VCO mod inputs, white noise generator, and the pitch/mod wheels can be assigned to control LFO, pitch or the filter."
