"This is a Roland CompuRhythm CR-5000 preset based analog drum machine.
Awesome sounding machine in the style of the CR-78.
The machine is in excellent working condition.
All the buttons react smoothly."
"Time capsule Roland CR-5000. Some very minor scuffs but cosmetically a 9.5/10. Everything works and sounds great! Even the underside looks almost new. Factory protective plastic still on the serial number plate in the back. Don't think I've ever seen one this nice.
The CR-5000 is the predecessor to the TR-808. The cowbell, conga and toms sound remarkably similar to the 808.
Rare machine in this condition. Comes with original manual."

"The Roland CR-5000 is Classic electronic drum sounds that hint back to the famous CR-78 and TR-808drum machines. I remember listening to the drum sounds and presets as a little kid, It's a really cool vintage piece!

"I recorded this version of "Utopia Parkway" for a special tribute to the late Adam Schlesinger organized by his Fountains Of Wayne bandmate, Jody Stephens. Adam was a dear friend and a partner in my piano bar in NYC, Sid Gold's Request Room. He passed away due to complications from COVID-19 on April 1, 2020 and the world lost an incredible talent. Please check out Fountains Of Wayne, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, 'That Thing You Do' and his many other musical accomplishments. I played this live into ProTools with no overdubs. Equipment: Yamaha CP-25 electric piano with Stromer Mutronics Super Fuzz and the Moog Analog Delay. Sequential Pro 3 Roland CR-5000 CompuRhythm Liven 8 Bit Warps Korg MS-20 controlled by the Korg SQ-1 sequencer Note: I got the CompuRhythm synced up to the 8 Bit and the SQ-1 by feeding the trigger out of the CR-5000 into the sync input of the 8 Bit Warps (line in) and taking the MIDI out of the 8 Bit into the SQ-1."
Knobs have been cleaner though and the case has been cleaned and refinished to get rid of yellowing. The original switches have been replaced with linear & silent keyboard switches and 3D printed keycaps.
The new switches are awesome and will easily last 40 more years. The case is missing some screws but is sturdy. The case has a stain shown on the right side of the drum machine. Everything works on this drum machine and it’s ready for a new home. Thanks!"
"Roland CompuRhytm CR-5000 Micro Computer Controlled Rhythm Machine. Very nice original working condition. This unit came out of an estate of a 80+ year old musicians personal collection of music equipment."

"For sale is this vintage drum machine. The percussion sounds are awesome, especially the kick and hh. There are separate volume controls for the different instruments and a ton of old-school presets...
It is in perfect working order! Comes with two foot switches. No manual. There are two small cosmetic spots where something hot seems to have been slightly melted the plastic, but not by me."
