Eplex7 releases Free Analog Modular FX samples vol.2

Kala PsyMagic

"Free Analog Modular FX Samples Vol 2
All samples are done with modular synthesizer and are exclusif to be on Eplex 7 DSP website.
You can download the package here:
https://eplex7.com/eplex7dsp/index.ph..."

"Eplex7 DSP has released new collection Vol.2 of Analog Modular FX samples in cooperation with psytrance producer Twisted Kala.

The sample pack contains 38 FX samples made with Analog Modular synthesizer, that are available for free download only at Eplex7 website.

All the package is based on the study how to make drones sounds. It means long fade In or fade Out moving on a really slow rate (or faster rate when the drone becomes a fade In or Fade Out).

These samples are made for producers of any kind of electronic music. They’re also adapted for Trance Music, Psychedelic Music, DarkPsy, Underground Music, Dance Music, Psycore, Hardcore, Dark proggresive …. As there is many different types of FX, drones, fade out and fade In in this package. Some can be used also in video games….

The sounds provide strong emotions to the tracks and work well in initial or final section of a track. Some samples can also feat in slow Fade In, slow Fade out during 4 or 8 beats of a part of the track.

The basis for the creation of sounds is modular synthesizer, that is from a big part made on DIY basis (do it by yourself) from customizable modules with using kits.

BURG Session Template 02

ollilaboratories

"If you like my music you can find it here http://bit.ly/BurgMusic and also please consider supporting me at patreon for as little as 1 USD http://bit.ly/BurgPatreon

---

Continuing my plans for 2020 and 2021 and the writing my new album, with this i will be posting template jam sessions to YouTube from which I will base and recreate the final tracks. These jam sessions are in no way finalised tracks, but you will be able to hear the main ideas before i start fine tuning the details.

If you join my patreon there will be behind the scenes materials, bonus tracks, stems, sound packs from these sessions and also a possibility to remix the future shortlist single for my release. You will be able to follow the creation of the entire album from idea to final product.

http://bit.ly/BurgPatreon

Track info:

108 bpm downbeat with light shuffle, focus on a longer buildup for a possible intro section. I might split this into two separate track for the future final recording to make things a bit simpler.

AKAI force is handling drums and sequencing the peak chords, monologue, erebus III and also the main low end bass from the volca. Additional percussion from the TR707, digitakt and the digitone.

First intro melody is on the ms-20, sub37 and ASM in combo does the second one.

Modular does the main intro sequence, 3x doepfer uPVCOs in a triad chord with the help from O_C hemisphere app, also some randomised melodies in the intro to build atmosphere sequenced by the eloquencer, using the classic rings into clouds combo. :)

Enjoy!

Gear Used on Session Template 02:

- Akai Force
- Novation Peak
- Elektron Digitakt
- Erebus Dreadbox
- Modular, Rings, 2x uPVCO A-111-3

SynLimb live modular set as aired on modular.world Ep 3 (June 13 2020)

"Live modular performance with our SynLimb arm-prosthesis-to-CV hack. I've been practicing a lot and am slowly getting there. The modular is sequenced by the Winter Modular Eloquencer in the first half; I then transition to the Toraiz Squid. It was a lot of fun to play this in our living room. Thanks to my husband Daniel for filming. This was aired on modular.world on June 13 2020 with a Q&A afterwards:"

Bastl & Casper Electronics Waver - Eurorack Wavewarping Mixer

Published on Feb 10, 2020 Perfect Circuit

"Following the no-input mixer-inspired module Dark Matter, the newest collaboration between Casper Electronics and BASTL Instruments is Waver: an experimental mixer which allows for crossfading, wavefolding, square shaping, ring modulation, and feedback in order to create edgy mixes more than the sum of their inputs.

In this video, the WMD Crater, Intellijel Plonk, and Mutable Instruments Plaits are combined through the Waver. The Waver's impact ranges from warm coloration to explosive wavefolded blasts and biting high end—making for something with considerably greater sonic depth than the average mixer. A Tiptop Echoz rounds out the signal chain, while a Winter Modular Eloquencer and Intellijel Quadrax provide finely-tuned sequencing and control."

Live Techno Eurorack Modular Synthesizer | Sworn64

Published on Feb 5, 2020 sworn64

"Live Eurorack Modular Techno Synthesizer | Sworn64

This is my first patch with the WMD Crater kick drum module and MSCL compressor. The bassline is going through the MSCL with the kick in the sidechain input. The bass is a Roland 512 oscillator through a System 80 860 Filter (The smaller version of the JOVE filter). Intellijel Dual ADSR is controlling the filter and the VCA output which is an Intellijel Quad VCA. Snare Drum is the Hexinverter Mutant Snare. The lead synth is the Noise Engineering Manis Iteritas with various voltages sources mixed t an Intellijel Scales quantizer to sequence pitch. The voltage sources are a clocked Mutable Instruments Marbles, a stepped random from a Make Noise Wogglebug (also clocked) and a cycling Make Noise Maths. These are all being mixed through an Intellijel Triatt. Noise Engineering Lapsus Os is used to perform the range of pitch to the Manis Iteritas via the Wogglebug’s External input. Wintermodular Eloquencer is the main sequencer and I’m using the EME expander for performance of kick and snare drum fills and mutes. The whole mix is sent through a WMD Overseer filter. The Intellijel Plannar is used to perform the filter cutoff as well as mix in some white noise from the Steady State Fate Quantum Rainbow. Mix is through a WMD Performance mixer with the Halls of Valhalla reverb on the Tip Top Audio Z-DSP and a Make Noise Mimeophon for Delay effects. The bassline is also going through the 4ms DLD for some stereo delay. The atmospheric background synth is the Mutable Instruments Plaits through a Strymon Engineering Magneto. Xaoc Devices Batumi is modulating lots of things. I am tweaking some random samples from the 4ms STS that have a really short loop on them to create some interesting sound effects here and there.

The LED lightbar is a Strange Electronic Lightstorm, a eurorack module that controls the LED bar via incoming CV. Thanks to Strange Electronic for providing the prototype arms to hold the lightbar above my modular so it lights up all of the gear. It looks awesome!"

"Winter Modular Eloquencer in perfect working condition. It has been in a case as long as I have owned it. Minor rack rash from the mounting screws, other than that it's in perfect shape. This is a very powerful 8 channel sequencer, one of the best sequencer in the eurorack world."

Dungeness Current

Published on Nov 17, 2019 MrSharps02

"been listening to cavern of anti-matter a lot lately so i figured id try my hand at a track in the style of tim gane, way harder than it sounds it turns out.

lots of eurorack bits in this, the motorik beat, bass sound, brassy swells and guitaresque plucks are all from the rack. digitone provides organ sounds and sample and hold chords. analog four has some analog bips and boops and those shimmery pulsed chords that show up from time to time. everything is sequenced with the octatrack or eloquencer and the ot also provides a few drums and fx flourishes.

Northern Juvenile Sonata

Published on Oct 17, 2019 MrSharps02

"thanks mom for the song title idea c:

six patterns in three movements. octatrack is on drums n mixer duty as usual. modular is providing secondary drums and a fast plucky bass line. digitone is the bright shimmery pads and keys as well as the growly vocal bass and the analog four is the subby analog goodness, squidgy analog goodness and the low pad that comes mostly toward the end.

octatrack does most of the sequencing, eloquencer for the euro bits and ableton to record and compress it all to hell and back."

Moog Matriarch With Eurorack Drums, Extra Oscillator And Modulation

Published on Sep 13, 2019 Perfect Circuit

"Moog's Matriarch synthesizer sounds great on its own with its four oscillators and stereo filter and delay, but it also has a ton of CV and gate inputs and outputs making it easy to expand with a eurorack modular system. In this video we added a eurorack wavetable oscillator to the Matriarch, synched a drum sequencer to the internal sequencer, and modulated the filter with a Maths.

The eurorack wavetable oscillator we used was an Industrial Music Electronics Piston Honda MK3. The Drums consisted of a Winter Modular Eloquencer sequencer and Endorphin.es BLCK_NOIR drum synthesizer. The Make Noise Maths was used for modulation.

omsonic & dBs Music - Stochastic Inspiration Generator - COMING SOON !

Published on Jul 28, 2019 omsonic

"COMING SOON ! The Stochastic Inspiration Generator ! Its a unique module that responds to your probabilistic musical direction but you don’t play ‘on’ it, you duet with it by starting with the fundamental musical atoms and controlling how likely different pitch, duration, octave and transition events will be using its controls."

via Omsonic:

"What Is It ?

not a traditional sequencer – it doesn’t repeat itself (unless you tell it to!)
not a probability sequencer – you don’t program fixed steps for variation
not a random source – you can control what it will do (within limits)
not a chaotic source – identical initial conditions don’t produce identical output

Stochastic is an Inspiration Generator ! Its a unique sequencer module that responds to your probabilistic musical direction but you don’t play ‘on’ it, you duet with it by starting with the fundamental musical atoms and controlling how likely different pitch, duration, octave and transition events will be using its controls.

Overview

Each event Stochastic generates has its pitch, octave, duration, onset, offset, portamento and ratchet set by probability controls. You can exert as much or as little control over what the next event will be as you wish. This could be very simple (e.g. raise C, E, G and 1/16 to 100% and you have a random arpeggiator kicking out constant 1/16 ) or something much more interesting…

Stochastic leverages tonal harmony by exploiting its statistical hierarchy of pitches: some notes turn up a lot, some not so much, some not at all. Being ‘in’ C Major means having lots of Cs, quite a lot of Gs and Es, a few Fs, some Ds, As and Bs, but no C#s, D#s, F#s, G#s, A#s. Set the note probabilities accordingly and Stochastic will spontaneously jam in C Major. Shift the probabilities, and you morph the tonality, key or mode they define into new tonal landscapes.

Percussa SSP Eurorack Module Part Livestream videos

"All of this is played and performed in realtime with no edits at all.

I am back again for Part 2 - looking at the #Percussa #SSP #eurorack module. This time - Oscillator voices and MIDI Clocking.

The SSP is Possibly the most comprehensive workhorse in the eurorack modular world. The module provides many possibilities from sampling, granular processing, polyphonic and monophonic playback, effects and much much more. This is part one of a series of videos in which I break down the module and what it can do.

If you like my stuff please support me on http://music.ollilab.com/ and https://www.patreon.com/theBURG

#eurorack #moogmusic #tb303

BURG is back with a new track! :) This time I wanted to make a bigger sounding song than the recent strymon session in a slightly higher tempo (117 bpm) but trying to keep the mood very minimal, e.g not overusing the instruments and overlapping too much but still keep the main vibe. Possibly that this one could fit during an early morning dancefloor? :D

There are a lot of things going on in this track.. Main sounds are, bass from the KORG volca bass + the Avalon Bassline driving the tune with percussion from the digitakt and modular + some hihats and snare from the TR-8s. A lot of random sequencing and shorter than 16 step sequences helps to build variation in a tune that else could have ended up too static.

Gear used:
- KORG Grandstage
- Moog Subsequent 37
- Clavia NORD Lead A1
- Novation Peak, Arturia Keystep
- Roland TR8s
- Elektron Digitakt, Analog Four
- Abstrakt Instrments Avalon Bassline
- KORG ms-20 mini, Volca Keys, 2x Volca Bass, Monologue
- Makenoise 0 Coast

ROSSUM Electro Music TRIDENT Oscillator - Jam

Published on May 30, 2019 Jimi Heinrich

"A quick demo of the new Rossum Electro Music Trident Oscillator for the Eurorack system.

You can hear the Trident on the left side, with no filters or effects.

To make really use of the Trident, you should different tracks for the three oscillators and for the modulations. To accomplish this, I used a Winter Modular Eloquencer and then some.

On the right side there is a little help from an ACL Oscillator paired with an Erica Synth Polivoks II Filter."
