Four Waldorf Pulses w/ Polivoks Filter Mod & Stereoping Controller Racked

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"This listing is for 4 Waldorf Pulse, 1 Stereoping Programmer, and 3 new Virtual Music Polivoks Filter kits. Everything works great. All 4 Waldorf Pulse have been upgraded with new final OS 2.01 EPROMs. The 3 Polivoks filter kits have not been installed. These filter kits are made with Russian NOS parts, they will only be in production until parts last. You can polychain these Pulse to make a massive 4 voice polyphonic synthesizer. The Stereoping Programmer can be used to control many other makes of synthesizers not just the Pulse. Stereoping also sells different face plates for the Programmer to match the gear you are controlling.

This link is a interview with the creator. He gives you information about the new updates his filter gives the Pulse. At the very bottom of that link are great sound examples of the Polivoks Pulse in action."

Stereoping MidiTools

video upload by Three CCTranslators automating Microwave, Matrix and TX81Z from DAW Stereoping

"Technical productdemo for the #CCTranslator which converts common Midi Control Change (aka 'CC') data into highly specialized #SysEx parameter change commands. This allows to remote or automate vintage Synthesizers like e.g. the #Waldorf #Microwave, #Matrix1000, #TX-81Z in your DAW. In the video these three Synths are automated - each with 4 parameters - from a dashboard in FL Studio. The Matrix1000 is running the tauntek firmware which reflects parameter changes on the LED display. Some little timing issues but mostly it works quite well. Most of the automation data was optimized by drawing steps and preventing redundant data. Depending on your DAW, automation curves can produce a LOT of data which might result in timing problems or missed events."

via stereoping

"The MIDI TOOLS are tiny, cute boxes manipulating Midi Data. They will be plugged in between the sender (MIDI OUT of DAW or Keyboard) and the receiver (MIDI IN of Synthesizer) and will be supplied with power from the connected Midi cable – there is no power supply jack. This is quite practical and works with the vast majority of equipment.

The Midi Tools are coming in 3 flavours:

The PolyChainer will be plugged in between the Synth Programmer and allows playing two Matrix 1000/6/6R (or other Synths) with 12 note polyphony

The CCTranslator translates ordinary Control Change (“CC”) messages into the complex SysEx commands to control and remote your vintage Synthesizer

The ChordTransposeFilter offers 4 features at the same time: Chord Memory, transposition of incoming midi notes, filtering of undesired Midi data and a simple MIDI Thru

The MidiTools are housed in a beautiful stainless steel case, the upper half painted in transparent strawberry red, yum. Like all Stereoping products their firmware can easly be updated over Midi. Please click the tabs for more info about the little helpers."

Stereoping Peach Clock - perfect midiclock sync between Volcas and FL Studio

Published on Sep 30, 2016 stereoping

"Your Volca/Drumbox does not want to run in sync with FL Studio over midiclock? This video shows the reason and my experimental workaround: the STEREOPING PEACH CLOCK. It converts audio pulses sent from the DAW into Midi Clock information (START/CLOCK/STOP) for the Volcas. Now they run perfectly synced together with FL Studio as proofed in the video. This is not a product demo, the Peach Clock can not be purchased (... yet - it might, if the interest is big enough). The video is just for educational purposes. I also have an article about the Peach Clock on my website." http://www.stereoping.com

New Stereoping PolyChainer MIDI Polyphony Tool

Stereoping 2020/07 PolyChainer product demo by Stereoping

"The PolyChainer is a little Midi tool enabling 12 note polyphony with two Matrix 1000 or 6/6R while being edited from a Stereoping Synth Programmer. The M1000 manual calls this GROUP mode, every second incoming note is passed to another Matrix connected to the first one's MIDI OUT. Unfortunately the 1st matrix destroys parameter change SysEx on the way, making the 2nd one not editable anymore. Apart from the fact the Matrix 6/6R does not offer a group mode at all.

Now the PolyChainer overcomes these problems, it builds up it's own GROUP mode not using the M1000's built in. This allows editing of both connected Matrix (even M6), switching between LAYER mode for stacking programs or CHAIN mode for double polyphony. A 2nd switch determines to which MIDI OUT the parameter edits are going to be sent - while leaving the note's paths untouched. Sounds complicated, right? This video demoes several situations like editing from the Programmer with 1 and 2 Matrix, without and (of course) with PolyChainer in LAYER and CHAIN mode, editing one or the other Matrix or both. If you have no clue what this is all about this is perfctly ok. It simply means you do NOT need this product. I hope you like the video nevertheless, at least you'll hear some nice Matrix sounds including the "Stereo/detuning trick". The two Matrix are hard paned to left and right - largest happiness level is reached by using headphones.

00:12 - Programmer & 1 Matrix without PolyChainer
00:30 - Programmer & 2 Matrix without PolyChainer
01:34 - PolyChainer presented on a rotating leather chair

01:52 - Programmer & 2 Matrix + PolyChainer, LAYER mode

03:41 - Programmer & 2 Matrix + PolyChainer, CHAIN mode

05:58 - Programmer & 2 Matrix + PolyChainer, LAYER mode on 2 different sounds"

Waldorf Microwave 1 Rev.A 2.0os w/ Stereoping Controller & Extras

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"Waldorf Microwave 1 in the most sought after Revision A. It has been upgraded this year to the version 2.0 Operating system.

It works great and sounds amazing. It's been babied and used in a clean, climate controlled studio. It stays dust free and is always covered when not in use. It's 220v so you'll need a step up transformer in the USA, I recommend Acupwr for safety and reliability.

Comes with the Stereoping synth controller that really opens up your ability to tweak in real time and make your own patches. Along with are the two factory patch cards, Claudis Bruse and Dave Gould Techno card, plus two more 256k memory cards to back up your patches as well as three other Korg Mega Rams with 4 banks per card (these are all really rare). In addition to this are a set of factory and other manuals that I’ve collected over the years. I will also throw in the two right angle midi cables that work great for attaching the Stereoping to the MW. I have never seen such a kit of Microwave items in one listing, here's a chance to own a rare and amazing machine."

New Stereoping Synth Programmer for Rhodes Chroma

Published on Jun 14, 2018 Stereoping

"Demo for the Stereoping Synth Programmer for the Rhodes Chroma (with CC+ Midi Interface). 3 rack units high, convertible from rackmount to desktop with optional Woodcheeks, 3.5 kg steelcase, 45 knobs, direct access to all parameters of the Chroma, clear text values on display for Patch Modes, Waveforms, Modulation sources and others. This quick demo is not that comprehensive, i just wanted to record at least something before the owner of the Chroma gets his Synth back. The Video contains two parts of turning knobs while some sequences of the MPC1000 are sending Midi notes to the Chroma. The first clip covers the basics, the second is about the 'Relative' Mode which allows keeping value intervals between Channel A and B for tuning and time relevant parameters."

New STEREOPING 'Thet4' Hardware Controller for the DSI Theta

'Thet4' - Hardwarecontroller demo for DSI Theta

Published on Oct 7, 2016 stereoping

"The 'Thet4' edition of the Stereoping Synth Controller for the DSI TetrA. It allows direct access to most of the parameters through 3 lighted pushbuttons and 16 HQ-pots. Small and powerful, very well designed and optimized especially for the Tetra's unique features. Besides the obvious parameters for OSC tunings/waveforms/glidetimes you can e.g. tweak Unison, Feedback, Audio Mod or Pan Spread without any menu diving. Directly set your VCF and VCA envelope and have fun with the blue modulation-layer which offers LFO 1/2/3 Amounts and Times and Mod 1/2/3 Amounts and the complete ENV 3 parameters. Bonus feature: control all 16 steps of Sequencer 1 & 2 directly with the 16 pots!

The video shows 3 examples, musicaly surely not the coolest tune but you'll - hopefully - get the idea how this midicontroller works.

Example 1 contains tweaking of OSC and VCF paras. Volca Sample is midisequenced by FL Studio.

Example 2 demoes the benefit of the blue modulation layer. A patch of the TetrA was optimized by setting the right modulation destinations for LFOs 1-3 and Mod 1-3. The video subtitles are telling you what's going on.

The third example is dedicated to the extra feature of this edition: controling Sequencer 1 and 2 directly through the 16 pots. Seq 1's destination is set to OSC FREQ, Seq 2 to Cutoff. The midinotes sent to the TetrA are not held long enough to reach the steps beyond 6. Otherwize the video would have been much longer and even more enoying. But you can trust me: all 16 steps can be controlled.

Thanks for watching"

Stereoping Midicontroller for Sequential Prophet VS - realtime programming and DAW-automation

Published on Mar 19, 2016 stereoping

"This product demo shows some sound editing on the Sequential Prophet VS using the Stereoping Synth Controller which is a specialized midi hardware programmer available in many editions for Matrix 1000, Microwave, TX81Z and many more.

This edition of the controller is named 'ProVessorS' and does not cover ALL parameters of the Prophet VS but makes programming MUCH easier and funny - especially for VCA/VCF envelope rates and levels. The 4 Oscillator's Wave numbers, coarse and fine tunings are
also in direct access.

This 10-minutes-video has 7 quick chapters: Starting point is the main concept of the UI. 2. shaping the init-patch of the VS into a nice sound while being sequenced. 3. & 4. show realtime tweaking of vector envelope rates and LFOs. Chapter 5 shows how quick and easy patch name editing works with the 'letter dial mode'. In 6 you'll see remoting and automating the Prophet VS through ordinary Controller-Change messages in Fruity Loops and Ableton. The last chapter 7 demoes Detuning and Unison. Be sure not to miss this very strange but extremely cool sound the Prophet VS accidently makes when changing a wavenumber in Unison - shown from 8:57 on.

The video was recorded using 2 cameras, one showing the controller while being used, the other cam with focus on the Prophet VS display reflecting the realtime changes. In case you're wondering - the display of the VS is not the original. The faceplate of the controller in the video is an early paper printout, the final one is black not blue.

Hope you like it :-)"

Stereoping Hardware Programmer for Yamaha TX81Z

Published on Feb 8, 2015 stereoping

"Demo of the Stereoping Synth Controller in '81Z' edition for Yamaha TX81Z FM synthesizer. After 30 seconds of technical info what the highly specialized midicontroller does and how to wire it up, the video shows 4 little one-minute-demos. First the famous Preset C15 "LatelyBass" is tweaked into a mellow portamento bell sound. Second demo on preset C27 'Xylophone' shows course tunings on the 4 operators to get some nice chords. Third demo on preset A17 'PercOrgan' concentrates on the 'Reverb Rate' parameter of the TX81Z and the LFO for pitch- and amplitude-modulation. The fourth part demonstrates how to automate and remote TX81Z parameters with ordinary midi control change (CC) messages, using the programmers built in CC-to-SysEx-translator. Thanks for watching :-)"

Productdemo - Stereoping SPARTA DELAY Eurorack Module

Published on Apr 6, 2015 stereoping

"Official demovideo for my SPARTA DELAY Eurorack Module. It is a cheap and clever Delay effects module based on the PT2399 delay-IC. The Sparta offers intended adjustable distortion, delaytimes going deep into areas making the PT3299 sound quite weird, a clever voltage controlled “Punch-In with trails”-function and a tone-knob for bandpass-like dub-sound feedbacks.

It's very easy to use, just 30mm deep and has a cute aluminium frontpanel with dual color eloxalprint. The delay is also available in a HQ-version with screwed pots and black knobs.

The video contains many sound and feature demos in different music styles. More detailed infos on my website www.stereoping.com"

PULScar - Waldorf Pulse + OSCar DIY Hybrid by Stereoping

CBD Computer Drums - ft. SDS8,TQ-5,JX-03,K4,PULScar

Published on Nov 15, 2017 Stereoping

Note the focus of this video from Stereoping is on his midified CRB Computer Drums. What caught my attention though was his PULScar mentioned in the second paragraph below.

"Rough testsong for a midified CRB Computer Drums. The digital part or this rare drumcomputer was completely broken and ripped off to implant a midi trigger interface bringing the analogue drumvoices back into studio life. I also added a DR-110 handclap unit as there were some trigger channels of the midi-interface left over. There's also a little article about this project on my site.

The CRB gets some backing from a Simmons SDS8. Everything sequenced by the MPC1000 with realtime mutes from a DIY midicontroller called 'MPC Muterscener' (... of course). Further gear: Yamaha TQ-5, Kawai K4, Roland JX-03 and a PULScar prototype with a dedicated Programmer. The PULScar is a hybrid of a Waldorf Pulse1 with a (still) breadboarded OSCar VCF replacing just the Pulse's ladder VCF and keeping all remaining other Pulse elements (DCOs, ENVs, LFOs, VCA, MODs). More on the PULScar soon.

Ego view camera! Despite the shaking I think it's more interesting than a fixed cam as it captures the currently important viewpoints. Hope you like it :-)"

STEREOPING DIY Eurorack Module 'Coloured Feedback Noise' & MIDI CV

Demo for my DIY Eurorack Module 'Coloured Feedback Noise'
Published on Dec 29, 2013 stereoping·28 videos

"I started building some diy-modules for eurorack module systems like the Doepfer. This module makes - besides the standard white noise - also some coloured noise. The latter can be adjusted with an active tone control and has an adjustable feedback-line for more drastical results. If the public interest is big enough i might make it a publicly available diy-assembly-kit."

New STEREOPING channel created. See the link below. There are a number of DIY videos dating back to 2005. I believe these are the first for eurorack.

Demo for my DIY Eurorack Module 'Midi CV Interface'
Published on Dec 29, 2013

"Short and musically quite boring demo of the features of my Eurorack diy Midi-CV-Interface. In case you dont know: such an interface lets you integrate the analogue module system into the digital midi production set. It has - besides Pitch-CV and Gate - simultaeneous outputs for velocity and 2 controllers. It can learn the midichannel (and remember it) and be set to single trigger (held notes will not send another gate) or multiple trigger. It also has a potentiometer to set the glidetime (portamento). A switch lets select if all notes should be glided or just held notes. The latter gives kind of temporary glide like on the tb303. It also has 5 Volt outputs for midiclock and sequencer-start/stop (both not features in this video). More technical info on my homepage. Sorry for the bad video quality, forgot to disable manual focus."
