"yo hoss! so this is my new set up.... the monome is controlling ableton.... each button is a sound..... the bottom right button is stop all noises.... introducing: the love... a box of 16 arcade buttons... made from an USB joystick.... it controls a looper and all effects... on the far end is a native instruments audio kontrol 1... (finally gotta audio interface!!!) the big ass knob just sends the whole mix to an echo... basically... i have the melodic content run through a looper... its is always recording.... so anything i play will repeat on a 2 bar loop this is bypassable and erasable..... all the drums are run through 4 effects.... all the melodic stuff is run though 8 effects... post looper... and if all that aint nerdy enough for you.... then i aint trying hard enough....! so to you and yours...... STING"

This video shows how the MFOS 10 Step Sequencer can be used to control the WSG with a small modification to the WSG. For complete details about the mod go to www.musicfromouterspace.com."
"The original returns! One of the long-deprecated Audio Damage products, Ronin hails from a time not so kind nor gentle. This remade version features a new UI, full compatibility with current plug-in standards, and on the Mac side, the best news of all: Universal Binary VST and AU.
What we didn't change, however, is the sound. Featuring pairs of BBD-style delays, multi-mode filters, saturation, and LFOs, Ronin also is fully modular. You can route the effects however you'd like, including (if you feel like living dangerously) in to themselves. The audio path is entirely modular. Ronin also has an extensive control routing mechanism, including MIDI inputs.
NOTE: If you are an owner of Ronin V1.0, this upgrade is free, and is currently in your account in the Audio Damage store."
"An improvised performance on a Temporary Music Machine.
Binary numbers create varying patterns of on and off. The device featured in this film (a "Temporary Music Machine") uses two binary counters controlled by the performer to map these patterns to chord structures and drum sequences (via MIDI). Other controls allow for additional elements of the music to be varied.
The device is only intended to be temporary. A handmade bespoke electronic musical instrument for a limited number of performances. It is based on the Arduino platform and realised through an iterative rather then planned process."
sent my way via Alex. Be sure to see these posts for more. I created a "mechanical" label for these for lack of a better label. If you remember any posts that should get the label as well, as always let me know.
"The evolution of the MuRF continues with the MF-105M MIDI MuRF. The MF-105M combines Bob Moogs classic MuRF and Bass MuRF to make one powerful Moogerfooger. Its warm, resonant, 100% analog Mid and Bass filter bands bring you everything from shimmering timbral morphing and rhythmic stuttering to deep bass grooves, and like all Moogerfoogers, its built like a tank to stand up to the toughest touring and studio use.
We didnt stop there. In addition to the full range of Control Voltage inputs, it also sports an extensive MIDI implementation. Create tempo-synced filter sequences with MIDI Clock Sync. Change patterns with MIDI Program Change messages. Control front panel knob settings with MIDI CC messages and play the filters in real-time with MIDI Note On commands.
Its equally at home on the floor, table-top or rack mount, and with all this sound and control in one package, the MF-105M MIDI MuRF connects you to a world of sonic expression, with tight integration into todays performance, production, DJ and remix environments."
Update: official press release and images.
"In sync with your sound: Moog Music launches the MF-105M MIDI MuRF
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (July 17, 2009) – Can’t decide between the MuRF and Bass MuRF? Get both
in one package!
The evolution of the MuRF continues with the MF-105M MIDI MuRF. The MF-105M combines
Bob Moog’s classic MuRF and Bass MuRF to make one powerful Moogerfooger. Its warm,
resonant, 100% analog Mid and Bass filter bands bring you everything from shimmering timbral morphing and rhythmic stuttering to deep bass grooves, and like all Moogerfoogers, it’s built like a tank to stand up to the toughest touring and studio use.
“MuRF” stands for "Multiple Resonance Filter Array". The MIDI MuRF has 8 filters - their levels are controlled by 8 sliders. It looks like a graphic EQ, but what is really unique is the ability to animate the filters with 24 user-editable sequence patterns. Like the MuRF and Bass MuRF before it, the rate of the patterns can be set by a knob, an expression pedal or with Tap Tempo. Rhythmic variations can be created by adjusting the levels of the filters and the Envelope control sets the shape of the modulation.
We didn’t stop there. “It’s equally at home on the floor, table-top or rack mount” said Moog Applications Engineer, Amos Gaynes. “With all this sound and control in one package, the MIDI MuRF connects you to a world of sonic expression, with tight integration into today’s performance, production, DJ and remix environments.”

Prism Effects Demo
"Here I demonstrate the "effects" available on the Prism laser guitar. The Skew control distorts sine and triangle waves to add a metallic buzz. The Sync control creates some neat frequency deviations and wild sounds, especially when doing sweeps. The LFO (low frequency oscillator) can be changed to induce anywhere from a slow rise and fall in frequency, to a rapid modulation resembles vibrato. And of course, more than one can be used at once!"
Prism Music Demo
"OK, I admit, I'm a total newbie when it comes to playing the Prism laser guitar. What can I say? I played clarinet in grade 9 and my formal musical training ended there. Watch as I fool around with various functions and try to extract some neat sounds. This thing would be awesome with a delay or echo effect pedal."
