"A little Video from the very very cool Yamaha CS15 Analog Synth.
There are only 3 machine, Korg KR-55 for the rythm, Yamaha CS15 ans a Bit of reverb with the Cool and easy to find Yamaha FX500.
This is a Demo about the External Audio In of the CS15.
The Headphone output is routed to the External In then goes to the filter and loop that makes a sort of hard sync with distortion and lot of resonance.
Cool Video I think but maybe bad sound quality."

Hoy Crap! GUITORGAN Analog Guitar Synth SN 1444

via this auction (yes it is "Hoy")
See the MCI channel label below for more.

via the seller: "Oh sweet mother of pearl! It's the Guitorgan. Here's the skinny:

What the 'ef is it? It's a late 60s or early 70s guitar/organ. Each fret is segmented, so the "brain" can read each note and make organ-like sounds, which really sound more like cheesy synth patches. It's also a regular guitar, and the footpedal/power supply thingy has an output for organ and straight guitar built right in along with a volume pedal. The guitar itself also has a regular 1/4" guitar out.

Where the 'ef did it come from? As I understand it, the Guitorgan company was in business a long time, mostly kept afloat by the inventor himself. The guitar itself seems to me to be some kind of Norma or similar Japanese guitar. The knobs, hardware, pickups, tuners, all scream Norma/Grecco and other imported guitars of that period.

What the 'ef does it sound like? Well…..it's actually not as bad as you'd think. Listening to the strait organ sound, you get a miniature forrest of switches to change the pitch, tone, waveform, add vibrato etc. But overall, it sounds for all the world like a cheese ball Lowery organ. What's cool about it is mixing that tone back in with the regular guitar sound. Then it starts actually sounding good.

What's even more interesting is that it if you slide or bend a string, you misstrigger the fret/switch, and that adds some random weirdness to what you are playing. So if you get all geeky and take the regular guitar sound and distort it, then mix it with the vibrating organ sound, you actually get something pretty huge and unique. A guy who puts a lot of time into using both sounds with a lot of pedals is likely to make some really special sounds with this. Add to that the idea that there's no reason the guitar has to be in tune with the organ since it's triggered off the frets. Tune every string a 5th out and you've got something crazy sounding.

I should also point out that you can also play this thing with one hand because the organ doesn't rely on the right hand strumming or plucking. So you can hold a full chord and the organ sound will play while you pick individual notes. Try it with Stairway to Heaven and you'll dig it. Also note the button by the nut: you can hit that and it triggers another chord, so you can play it open I suppose. I'm not really sure what that button and the button on the pick guard are supposed to do.

Condition: this Guitorgan is complete and appears to be working great. The cable is good, the foot pedal is good, the case is original. The guitar is played but I find no major flaws on it.

Playability: the action is fairly high on this guitar, and I think it has 11s on it right now. But it plays fine, though I think it would benefit from new and lighter strings. The guitar itself is HEAVY because of all the electronics."

Sequential Circuits Max Vintage Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer SN 01266

via this auction

"This is a rare Sequential Circuits Max analog synthesizer + original 8VAC power adapter, operation manual and midiguide.

The synth is in good working condition.

The only thing I noticed is that the included power adapter seems to work better when connected straight to the wall. When connected to a power strip, it doesn't make a contact unless the plug is pulled out of the strip a little bit.

The synth has 80 built in presets that are divided into groups - Organ, Brass, Strings/woodwinds, Keyboards, Bass/percussion, Synthesizer I, Synthesizer II, Special Effects. There are also 20 presets that can be programmed via an external computer.

The built in preset parameters can only be changed using an external computer and compatible software and you won't be able to access the programmed presets (80-99) unless you programmed these presets using the software.

Originally, Sequential Circuits sold a Commodore 64 software called Model 920 that was designed to edit the Max parameters, however, there are few PC and MAC softwares that you can use these days. I managed to edit the synth parameters using a software called 'ctrlr' with the downloadable Sixtrak panel. Ctlrlr is a free software and it's available on ctrlr.org."

SuperWave Equinoxe - VA Dedicated to the Sounds of Jean Michel Jarre

via SuperWave

"Equinoxe is a powerful virtual analogue synthesizer dedicated to recreating the works of Jean Michel Jarre.

Jarre used an amazing range of powerful analogue synthesizers including instruments by Arp, Korg, Moog, Oberheim, Roland, Sequential Circuit, Yamaha and many more. These days, it would be nearly impossible to build such a vast collection of instruments and it would cost a fortune! The SuperWave Equinoxe can accurately replicate the sounds used to create Jarre’s classic works such as Oxygene, Equinoxe, Magnetic Fields and Rendez-Vous. We supply a full range of presets and a selection of tracks in Cubase and MIDI file formats demonstrating the accuracy achieved by this powerful musical instrument. Equinoxe 4 and Magnetic Fields 2 are supplied with the trial version and 12 additional tracks are supplied via email when purchased. The SuperWave Drums Bundle is also provided free of charge when purchasing the Equinoxe synthesizer.

Equinoxe is a very powerful and versatile instrument and can be used for any type or genre of music. It features much of the technology used in the Ultimate synth, but has been modified to enable the creation of sounds and effects of the analogue synthesizers used by Jarre. Equinoxe is capable of huge leads, pads, strings, basses and sound effects. Powerful features include the Ultimate Oscillator which has a total of 16 fully programmable oscillators. All the oscillators can have their own individual settings which include Waveform, Level and Pan. All 16 oscillators on the Ultimate Oscillator can also be detuned and stereo spread from a single control which makes programming oscillator stacked sounds a breeze. The Equinoxe features four thirty-two step Sequencers, an Arpeggiator and Multi-Effects which include Tone Control, Chorus, Phaser, Delay, Reverb and Limiter with Drive.

Equinoxe is the only synthesizer dedicated to the works of Jean Michel Jarre!

There are two versions of the Equinoxe available, the Equinoxe and the Equinoxe Extreme HD Edition."

"8 Voice Model w/ Encore MIDI. (was originally a 4 voice)

Completely refurbished in 08/13. The following services were performed :

1) Unit completely stripped and cleaned inside and out with all pots and switched cleaned.
2) Bushing pots leveled, new bushings installed and fitted.
3) Buss Bars removed and cleaned, key contacts cleaned.
4) Power supply re-capped & Batteries replaced
5) All Tantalum caps replaced on power circuitry replaced w/ new ones.
6) All electrolytic caps replaced.
7) All functions tested, and passed burn in test.

All work was performed by This Old Synth.

Notes :

This is a very clean, working example of an original OB-X with MIDI. The cosmetic condition is an easy 9/10, and it will come with a very heavy duty Anvil Case, that has been re-foamed recently. I have invested an extensive amount of $$ to get it in the best working condition possible, and this one will be solid to perform for many years to come. The Encore MIDI works flawlessly, and allows you to store up to 100 presets (as opposed to original 32)."

Tombo DALC looks like a real bass accordion but it's a completely Electronic musical instruments!

Tombo DALC has 3 sounds(BASS,WOOD BASS,TUBA BASS) you can mix these 3 sounds to get more fat Bass sound

Tombo DALC seems a kind of monophonic analog bass synthesizer,so it has very fat and warm bass sound

it's an analog indtruments,so it need warm up time become stable
when power ON,keys and switch has some noise(especially after long no use)

2keys of leftside has dirt & scratch(see last photo)
comes with original case with strap for case

this is japanese 100V product so you need voltage transformer to use in your country"

"Emu Emulator III model 6081 (w/rare factory 8MB upgrade!) running the latest/last Firmware v2.00 and Software v2.42. This Emulator III has been fully tested and is in excellent working condition. It has just gone through an extensive cleaning/ servicing/ recalibration/etc. Every part/component and connection has been cleaned of all dust/residue. Every LED, ribbon/molex cable was cleaned and reseated. All buttons, sliders, keys, and key contacts have been cleaned for optimal performance. The PSU has also been re-calibrated for a strong and reliable running machine. The 3.5" disk drive and HD also work flawlessly. Both wheel controllers are working as they should, and have also been cleaned/lubricated. The entire keyboard assembly was dismantled and completely cleaned so all keys respond beautifully. If you are familiar with the Emulator III, then you will understand and appreciate the value in this kind of work. The cosmetic condition of this EIII is also excellent, with only a few small scratch on the top of the shell (see photo) to mention. The Emu Systems Emulator III is the holy grail of 16-bit samplers, using 16 x CEM3387 analog filter chips (the same as Waldorf Wave/Microwave1), for the most beautiful of sounds!"

"Arp Solus that works and sounds great. All of the sliders have been cleaned and work beautifully and original slider caps are in place. The key bushings were recently replaced, all keys trigger perfectly. It was just calibrated/tuned. There was a useful modification done at some point which allows for infinite positive pitch adjustment of VCO2 by using the mod slider and the tone stays where you set it instead of ramping up and down according to ADSR.The case is nice, and latches perfectly. This is fairly light so it can be carried around with ease."
