"This is the official introduction of the Squaver P! Audio Controlled Synthesizer pedal. You can control it with any electric / acoustic instrument via a microphone.

For this video demo the main input is fed by a sinewave sequenced from Ableton Live. Simpler instrument playing a sine-wave sample from one of the audio outputs from the sound card.

"This Akai AX 73 is in fine condition both cosmetically and functionally. Everything works exactly as it should, and there has never been any issue with it. this synth is built like an icebreaker. It is an all metal case, and indeed a heavy, solid beast.

I have always been very impressed with the auto tune function of this six oscillator machine, and have never had any difficulty whatsoever with the calibration, despite the 100% analog nature of this synth. I also enjoy the broad selection of oscillator waveforms, which is greater than that found on the Roland Polys which were the closest competition to this synth back in the day."

If you’re toying with the idea of experimenting with modular synthesizers but are intimidated by all of those wires, just know that it’s far simpler than it looks. In this video we’ll start with a basic patch to break the ice as and give a straightforward introduction to patching with a modular synthesizer.

The guts of a synthesizer are visible with modular synthesizers which allows you to get under the hood and modify/patch things anyway that you choose. This gives you far more control than you’d have with a traditional modern synthesizer where things are pre-patched by the manufacturer giving you a great deal more options when creating sounds.

"Demoing 'QUANTUSSY (center part of the instrument)' part of Cocoquantus. I took a triangle out (orange) and square out (gray) to each coco (2 side part, the most left is mic input). So you're hearing two "petals" of QUANTUSSY into cocos. As you see, I'm not patching at all but the QUANTUSSY makes a fairly complex modulation within. The left knob I occasionally wiggle is master tune while the right knob is 'chaos(master modulation depth)'

The pads don't work so well, so I just focused on the programming. This was recorded strait into Logic with absolutely no pre or post processing, so this is the true sound of it."
