Bode Frequency Shifter cased & psu

via VEMIA

"Moog / Bode Frequency Shifter 1630 The Bode Frequency Shifter was originally designed for use with Moog modular systems. The sound of the Bode is unique – it produces highly complex waveforms by shifting not only the fundamental but all input frequencies by the same amount. The result: non-harmonic relationships between the frequencies in the output signal. This particular one comes in a nice wooden cabinet with a power supply (230 V), just as it was mounted and sold by Studio Funk Hamburg in the early seventies. Of course it can still easily be built into a modular system. The machine has been checked by a tech recently and is technically in a very good condition. The wooden cabinet shows minor signs of usage. A copy of the original (unfortunately not complete) description by Studio Funk in German language and some notes from the moog modular systems owner’s manual on the Bode are included as well."

DOEPFER MAQ 16 ANALOG MIDI SEQUENCER

via this auction
"This is the classic doepfer sequencer. sequence cv and midi synths at the same time. I believe Florian Shneider of Kraftwerk helped with the original design. It has a great funky feel to it and perfect for classic electro sequences. Its also easy to edit and quick to come up with creative sequences, being it has midi it can send velocity data which is really cool for those digital or hybrid synths that receive it. it can even send program changes per step which is very fun. This is a new model with the blue led's, as new condition.

The main feature of the maq is the real time access to the sequence via 48 rotary potentiometers grouped in 3 rows of 16 dials each. all important parameters like first/last step, midi event type, midi channel, forward/backward/random/pendulum mode, gate time, tempo and so on are independently assigned to each row and can be changed in real time while the sequence is running. this enables very complex sequences. the rows may not only be used for generating note events but also other important midi events or for controlling the length of time for each step. of course the maq allows the synchronisation via midi clock, start and stop either as master or as slave.

SEQUENTIX P3 SEQUENCER

via this auction
"the blurb: The P3 Sequencer is an 8 track, hardware MIDI sequencer, with a user interface comprised of knobs, keys and LEDs. A sixteen character by two line PLED display provides confirmation of pattern data and access to advanced features and configuration options. P3 allows real-time control of track mutes and simple pattern or pattern chain selection across multiple tracks, plus analogue-style editing of patterns. Each of its 384 patterns has independent values for note, velocity, tie, gate, length, gate delay, and a combination of up to four MIDI controllers, extra notes, or 'auxiliary events', per step.

P3's unique auxiliary events allow the creation of dynamically self-modifying patterns. They can grab values from other tracks, randomise steps, alter track and global settings, and much more. There are three modulation 'accumulators' per track, that can be used as LFOs, perform arpeggiation effects or enable complex pattern progressions.
Furthermore, you can assign front panel knobs to modify or mask these events in real-time, allowing you to create interactive patterns that change predictably as you adjust the knobs - varying in complexity, controlling levels of randomness, even 'morphing' from one pattern to another.

A Force-to-scale option provides preset and user-defined scales to keep everything in key (but defeat-able per pattern step if required), and a configurable 'change mode' allows patterns with different lengths and/or time-bases to free-run, or be synced to a global bar."

Mattson Mini Modular Sale - 15% Off Entire Catalog

via Muff's

"The year is coming to a close and I would like to thank all of my Muffwiggler customers with a present.

I also haven't raised my prices in two years. The economic environment has made it so that I have to compensate for the increases in raw materials. I will be re-calculating all of this at the end of the year and posting the new price structure on January 1st.

As a thank you to this forum, I have added a 15% off coupon for all of my Muffwiggler customers from today through Sunday, Nov 14, 2010.

Minimum cart amount to utilize the coupon is $100.00. It can be used once per customer.

The coupon code for the discount is MWTU

The discount applies to any product listed in the cart.

http://www.mattsonminimodular.com/shop/

The new customer sign-in 5% coupon should still work to give you up to 20%. But, honestly, I don't know if you can enter multiple coupons. Let me know what happens if you try it.

I just wanted to give everybody a heads up and a timely holiday present as a Thank You for such a fun year.

Thanks guys,

George"

"The synth has two synths on board, which can be manually triggered with the 'trigger' button on the face of the unit, or by connecting a source to the two mono 1/4" jack inputs on the rear. For the video demonstration we used two basic pads from an electronic drum kit, and it worked perfectly. The two synths each have an individual output, which are also 1/4" jack inputs on the rear, along with a foot switch input for audio on/off and pre-set/manual remote switching for each synth."

Benjolin Light Synth 3

YouTube via bubagoo | November 07, 2010

"The sound in this video is all made using one my custom built synth that you can read about here. http://casperelectronics.com/finished...
The synth is made up of two complex analog oscillator/modulator/filter circuits, a light control circuit and a modified BOSS RSD 10 sample/echo module.
I've started playing with a cool feature of the RSD 10 which is that it can use external oscillators to control the playback rate of the echo and an external clock to trigger the echo repeats. I'm using a sequenced oscillator to melodically modulate the pitch of the echo of the other oscillators and I'm using the sequence clock to trigger the echo. its a cool sounding effect that gives a relatively normal sequence a bunch of cool quirks to play with."

Jigsaw

Jigsaw by curvetheory
"Just having a little fun on a Sunday afternoon.

I am using a Voyager RME, which of course doesn't have a touch surface...enter the Korg KO Pro. I am using it to send MIDI CC# 1-3 to my Moog Multi-pedal, converting that to CV and then plugging those patch cables into the X, Y and Gate of the "Touch" section of the Moog VX-352, plugged into the RME. In the touch parameters of the RME, I have the X destination set to External Audio, which happens to be a pad sound from the E-Mu XL-7. The Voyager and XL-7 are being played through Ableton with an Akai MPK49 simultaneously. The Y destination on the Voyager is Filter Cutoff. The Gate destination is OSC 2. As I sweep the KO Pro's touch surface from left to right the audio of the XL-7 is brought in. As an added bonus, I'm using MIDIPipe to utilize the aftertouch of the MPK49 with the Voyager. Converting the aftertouch data to MIDI CC#4, routed to the Multi-pedal and being converted into CV, allows me to plug a patch cable with aftertouch into any CV that I want. In this piece the aftertouch is plugged into the LFO rate of the Moog CP-251, saw out to the filter cutoff in on the VX-352. The gurgley notes are a result of this technique. Yes, I do know this means I'm a geek. I'm no longer in denial."

Elektron Octatrack Update - LFOs

1. LFO Remixing by Elektron "An example of how much the LFOs can change a pattern. The LFOs, using both standard and designed waveforms, are controlling pitch, filter and start parameters." via http://www.elektron.se/products/octatrack

"The Octatrack has plenty of LFO power under the hood. All internal tracks have three dedicated tempo-synced LFOs at their disposal, meaning 24 LFOs in total are available. The LFOs can be assigned to a wide range of parameters and are useful for adding movement and evolving changes to samples. The LFOs can be set to eleven basic waveforms plus eight LFO designer waveforms.

The LFO designer allows for customized LFO waveforms. An LFO designer waveform consists of 16 steps where each step can have a manually set value. The steps can be either interpolated or stepped. LFO designer waveforms are very versatile and can almost be regarded as mini-sequencers. They can for example be used to make rhythmic track parameter changes or, when modulating the start point of sampled drum loops, function as instant remix tools. Each track contains an LFO designer and all designed waveforms are available for all LFOs."

Korg Oasys: caricare wav in sequencer / wav load

YouTube via JackOasys | November 07, 2010

Googlish:
"
Korg Oasys Tutorial: a clear explanation for those who still have doubts about how, or exploit it rarely and often forget. Download wav file so Sequencer allows you to play pre-recorded live with bases (samples, effects, or entire original intro song they composed.) At the start of the sequencer will start a "song" where you can play on the midi tracks as audio tracks in predetermined places, leave the wav file that you uploaded.
CAUTION
Two important things to remember:
1) you can load only 48 kHz mono WAV file (all other types must first be converted, you can do it directly on Oasys with "Rate Convert" in the way disk
2) to be loaded into the sequencer, wav files are first copied to the internal HD necessarily. You can not upload directly from a USB stick, CD or other audio peripherals.
