This patch was inspired by the certain well known plugin for Kick Designer VST that is popular with electronic music producers.
I wanted something similar, but hardware so I designed my own for Patchblocks!

Ever since I got my modular it has made really aggressive and pissed off sounds... I don't know why this is but I fear it is marking its territory as a true analog predator. It preys on my other synths, and wants me to sell them so i can feed it with more modules... this is starting to get me worried. Should I hide my other gear ? :D

Just using the braids as main sound source with some added simpler stuff from the 0-coast + a weird sampled overtone loop which I'm adding later on the microgranny are the only sound sources. EQD and Keeley engineering pedals + a simple stereo delay in the mixer is what you hear as FX. Arturia beatstep is sequencing the lot..

Gear used, intellijel 7U with MI braids / ripples + makenoise maths, 0-coast, beatstep pro, earthquaker devices transmisser + space spiral, keeley engineering caverns

Dammit, Boom !"

Improvements to clocking and overall timing / performance

The AUX inputs can now track 1V per octave in P.Pre, P.PoST, and RooT modes. Config menu option added to calibrate them.

New aux destinations P.PreL P.PoSL and RooTL which work like the old ones used pre-1.30.

Ratcheting enabled by hold holding a stage button and turning the encoder.

TunE option in the CONFIG menu for assisting with tuning oscillators.

bSLId / bSKIP option in the CONFIG menu to toggle the default behaviour of the stage buttons between slide and skip.
rsT option in the CONFIG menu now has rST_r, “run” mode. In this mode the RESET input functions as a RUN input which is a gate input complimentary to the RUN output of the µMIDI. When the gate is high the sequencer runs. When the gate is low, it stops and resets.

Shortcut keys: Hold MODE, STAGES, STEP/DIV, SCALE, SWING or DIV and then press one of the stage buttons to quickly access commonly-used values.

Improved DINSync support.

Pattern saving, with 8 slots. Hold the SAVE button and click one of the stage buttons to save the current pattern. Hold The LOAD button and click one of the stage buttons to load a previously-saved pattern.
8 slots for global settings. In the SAVE and LOAD menus you can use the encoder to select a slot from 1-8 before clicking it to load and save the global settings.

"MMO-3 is a digital, semi-modular, monophonic but stereo synthesizer. Built around various types of modulation synthesis (AM, FM, PM, WS), this synthesizer is mostly dedicated to atonal sound generation. From fat drones, glitchy electronic patterns or percussive noise, the MMO-3 offers rich and complex timbre control.

"Unlike most FM synthesizers, the MMO-3 is not limited to a specific modulation routing. All 3 oscillators can be modulated by all other oscillators or LFOs. Modulation parameters are accessible thanks to 9 knobs for an accurate and continuous adjustment of the timbre.

"I recorded this set in our little garden during spring time using the new Novation Peak synthesizer.
The Peak gets sequenced by the Circuit, which gets a Midi Clock from the SND Acme. The SND also sends a clock to the Octratrack, which sequences the small modular synth setup. The kick drum is a sample played by the Octatrack."
