These include four units in one, trigger-controlled 'mode scanning,' CMOS circuit 'defect' control to enhance harmonics beyond the original, real-time VCF integrator cap offset for dynamic pole movement, fine-tuning envelope response to match your playing style, and additional features like Drum Kit and Keyboard Modes.

SY-4X provides four Syncussion SY-1 modules in one neat package, with some modules featuring additional modifications like noise direct injection or a Custom Mode A. The four modules allow for creating an 8-voice drum kit, four mono synths (coupled voices = 4 oscillators per module), or a four-voice poly synth (4 x 4 oscillators). You can also mix modes, such as three modules in Drum Kit mode and one in mono synth mode (keyboard controlled). In any play mode, you have full control over every voice parameter—sky's the limit!"

Immersive Ambient Generator Ambient Ø (zero) is incredibly easy to use. Start by playing a tone from one layer using the note hold function. While listening closely, simply tweak the knobs to modify the tone and add other layers to shape a pleasing sound.
Blendwave Modulation Synthesis We conducted extensive research into creating undulating and fluctuating tones for Ambient Ø, resulting in the development of a new wavetable-based synthesis. Blendwave Modulation Synthesis combines 6 unique structures with 32 WAVEs featuring complex harmonic transitions, making it easy to create powerful low drones, lush pads, and transparent pizzicatos, perfect for ambient music.

A WAVE contains 128 harmonic tables, allowing for diverse tonal changes such as moving from basic waveforms to complex harmonics. The WAVE is represented by a yin-yang icon, with the yin representing moves in the reverse direction through the tables during modulation.
6 Structures Each structure has a different number of oscillators and modulation circuits. ATMOS 1 applies ring modulation, while ATMOS 2 applies FM modulation.
Noise and Space The Noise layer includes 8 specially selected nature sounds, offering noise blending, pitch adjustment and modulation to infuse unique spatial characteristics. Additionally, it allows for up to 8 seconds of stereo sampling from the line input, letting you create personalized textures.
Extensive Effects Section Ambient Ø is equipped with 9 types of lush reverb, each offering unique spatial dimensions and brightness settings. You can individually adjust the reverb send and shimmer send (for layering octaves) for each layer.
In addition to the reverb, the Ambient Ø offers an effect unit with Tape Delay, Reverse Delay, and 4 master effects; Overdrive, Bit/Rate Crush, Tilt EQ, and Stereo Chorus.
Sequencer on Each Layer You can not only layer the four tones, but each layer also includes a sequencer that allows you to record keyboard performances. Furthermore, you can record changes in numerous parameters, including level, pan, and filter movement over time.

As an avid enthusiast of Buchla format modules, I couldn’t resist attending the Buchla & Friends event in downtown Los Angeles. Armed with my camera, I set out to capture the essence of such a unique gathering. I documented the event and later layered my footage with performances on an array of Buchla format setups, featuring gear from Buchla, Keen Association, 1979.ws, Studio.H, Roman/Verbos clones and Buchla re-issues to create an electrifying soundtrack.
The highlight of the event was the M.E.M.S talk by Chip Flynn and Mark Milanovich, which delved into the legacy of Don Buchla. Their dedication to recreating the original designs is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to record with the M.E.M.S modules myself, their live sound was phenomenal. I hope this HDR video provides a vivid glimpse into their meticulous craftsmanship.

Hailed as extremely boutique and highly unique, the Vermona M.A.R.S. Control is comprised of a 1-Rack brain processing unit with digital interface and 2-Rack controller module. This 100% all-analog, German manufactured synth offers a collection of expression from warm Moog-like basses to super bright synth leads, swells and more.
Now discontinued and highly sought after, this synth occupies a realm of it's own in both uniqueness and portability. Constructed as a standalone, though it's size and design can integrate well with modular type setups making it easy to craft new tone and textures. Additionally it offers an array of editing parameters, controls and fx via it's external controller module.

"Up for sale, a 1980s Roland G-505 Guitar Synthesizer Controller and GR-300 Polyphonic Guitar Synthesizer [SN 090427] in 100% original condition and in perfect working order,
complete with the original 24-pin cable. First introduced in 1980 as a follow-up to the GR-500, the GR-300 is perhaps best known for its usage by Pat Metheny; produced at the venerable Fujigen factory in Japan, this versatile guitar synth can deliver a huge range of decidedly unique sounds, with a hexaphonic fuzz circuit, VCO synth, and combinations of the two. This GR-300 comes complete with the G-505 Guitar Controller, taking its design cues from a Strat with a sleek ash body, one-piece maple neck, and a trio of single coil pickups alongside the synth pickup.
The G-505 Guitar Controller guitar has plenty of natural sparkle and shimmer, and the Roland PU-134S pickups deliver a bevy of Strat-style tonalities via the five-way selector switch. Weighing 8lbs 12oz, the G-505 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
The maple neck has a slender C-shaped profile carve with good shoulders, gaining appreciably more heft and roundness in the upper registers, measuring .810” deep at the 1st fret and 1.015” at the 12th. The fretboard exhibits light finger wear through the gloss, and the slender fretwire ostensibly benefits from a level and crown in this guitar’s lifetime, showing virtually no wear. This Roland plays cleanly up the 25 1/2“ scale with a straight neck and a responsive, optimally-adjusted truss rod, and the nut measures 1.650” (42mm) in width. The headstock features a bullet truss rod nut and gold “GR” logo, and the Gotoh tuning machines function reliably. The back of the headstock retains the silver foil serialized sticker.
The electronics on the guitar controller are untouched, with a control scheme including Master Volume, Guitar Tone, Guitar/EG Balance (Blend), VCF Cutoff Frequency, VCR Resonance, and LFO (Vibrato) Depth knobs. Additionally, the three-position Mode toggle enables on-the-fly switches between Hexaphonic Fuzz only (Mode 1), Fuzz and VCO synth tandem (Mode 2) and Synth only (mode 3). The controls are capped by the original sextet of knobs with ridged grips for easy adjustments, and the three-ply white pickguard rounds out the plastics.
Cosmetic wear on the gloss Metallic Blue finish includes a number of nicks and dings on the body as a whole, most prominent along the lower bout perimeter, with some finish chipping adjacent to the output jacks, and some very subtle texturing in the finish on the top. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss, with a handful of shallow marks that have no impact on playability.

Today I thought it would be nice to revisit this one on my Prophet 10, it's a really nice piece to perform I think and I should play it more often haha.
This time I play it very expressive and soft on the prophet 10 synthesizer, with an alternate simple beat i programmed. This song is very emotional for me and playing this really calms me.

A classic synth from Roland. This synth had its audio restored to factory quality and sounds great. This is a used piece of gear with a few small cosmetic scuffs, but the overall condition is very good. The keybed feels and plays great, the ribbon controller is responsive, the joystick has a good feeling with a nice spring back. No issues with buttons, knobs, sliders, or LCD."
"Here is a Powertran Transcendent analog synth I just serviced. I took the opportunity to make some modifications, mainly adding a sub oscillator circuit. I used a simple 4024 chipset and routed the -1 and -2 octave outputs to the "noise" volume pot with a 3 positions switch so that I can chose either octave sub or the Noise generator as the source for that pot. I also made modification to the CV and gate circuit which originally are not the common 1v/octave V-trigger kind. Now it can be used with any standard CV / gate interface. And last modification was a lighter one: adding a LFO rate blinking led. Very nice synth, capable of quite a wide range of sound thanks to dual resonant filter mode (Low Pass / Band Pass), S+H, repeating enveloppe, PWM etc … and now with a sub oscillator :-)
PS: this synth is not unstable in pitch. If you look carrefully you'll notice there is a slight amount of lfo (saw) modulation applied to the OSC pitch almost all the time"
