Berlin, February 22th, 2012 – Native Instruments today released EVOLVE, a KONTAKT-based instrument created by premier sound design house Heavyocity, the team behind DAMAGE and the EVOLVE MUTATIONS series.
EVOLVE offers a full-scale resource for cinematic sound design that brings together a vast selection of sounds, rhythms and FX, designed specifically for film composers and sound designers. With approximately 6 GB of sample content, EVOLVE provides a go-to resource for premium quality cinematic sounds, textures and ambiences. A huge variety of styles are included in the instrument, ranging from punchy beats for dramatic tension, atonal stings for added suspense, or serene melodic lines for intricate tonal sequences.

"A couple years ago, Ralph mentioned to me that in the early-70s he had built a couple of custom analog synthesizers for local schools – UBC and Carson-Graham Senior Secondary. I attempted to contact the music departments of both of these schools. The UBC music department still had theirs, but the Carson-Graham synth was missing in action. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, and I get an email from Ralph that an acquaintance of his in Vancouver recognized Ralph’s handiwork in a craiglist ad for a homebrew synth- it was the long-lost Carson-Graham synth!

POWER SUPPLY UPGRADE - The existing power supply in your Odyssey is underpowered. Upgrading the power supply will improve oscillator stability and reduce cross talk between audio circuits. My Tech removed the stock power supply and install an oversize, high current, fast response time, low noise, power supply to supply plenty of clean current to the system. This power supply can also easily supply the additional current needed for the Lumina illuminated sliders eliminating the need for the external wall wart :)"
