via the listing: "One of the previous owners installed a tiny switch panel on the center of the synth. The guy I bought it from disabled it. Last picture shows the bottom of this pannel and wires have ben cut off. I would appreciate an email from any ebayer who knows what this device could have done to the sound.

A beast analog monophonic/polyphonic synth. It has 4 VCO's which can be shared in 4-voice Polyphonic mode, or linked in Unison for a versatile monophonic lead. Each VCO has its own level, tune, and waveform type control. Waveforms include triangle, sawtooth, variable pulse wave. It has a great VCF (filter) section as well as 2 envelope generators (one for the oscillators and one for the filter). There are also 2 individual LFO's which can be used to modulate the Pulse Width, envelope and Arpeggiator independently.

Other cool tricks up its sleeve include chord memory and an effects mode in which oscillators have a variety of ways to be synced. The built-in arpeggiator and sequencer can run all 4 VCO's at a time or cycle through each voice per note. There's also portamento, CV/Gate, VCF and VCO mod inputs, white noise generator, and the pitch/mod wheels can be assigned to control LFO, pitch or the filter."

Intellijel uScale II Quantizer Module

via this auction

"This is a highly versatile and very musical device for creating interesting, beautiful and harmonious musical riffs from just about any analog cv sources. Please see the demo videos to get a taste of some of the creative things you can do with this module.

Features:

12 buttons with matching dual color leds for selecting scale notes in real time (and visual feedback of quantizing).
Processes 0-10v (as 1v/oct) in the ‘in’ input.
Accepts 0-10v or ±5v on the ‘shift’ input (jumper selectable) for a shift range of ±12semitones or ±12 scale degrees.
Two 0-10v outputs (a and b) with 1v/oct scaling.
Output b is a user selectable interval based on the root note on output a. this interval can be chromatic (fixed semitones) or diatonic (interval is within the current scale and the value is based on scale degrees). this interval can be a bipolar value of ±12.
Shift has user selectable destinations of note a, b, a+b or the scale root.
Shift has user selectable modes of where shifting occurs: before scaling, in scale (diatonic) or post scale (key shifting).
Menu for shifting the scale root manually.
Special ‘scale shift” mode allows the “shift” input to select scales from the current bank (so 12 scales can be selected by cv).
Can store 12 scales in 12 banks for a total of 144 different user scales.
Module ships with 5 banks preloaded with scales (they can be erased by the user and reprogrammed).
Precision trimmers on pcb for fine tuning and scaling the two outputs.
Skiff friendly depth
uni/bipolar cv switch added to the panel
16bit super low INL error TI DAC which translates to +/-0.0005V accuracy for pitch CV."

"The mods are:

Switched 1/4inch Mono jack output - Put this through your amp, PC/Laptop, mixer or Effects unit to further enhance the circuit bent sounds!

FDBK Feedback Control - Turn this knob for some screeching feedback, distortion and heavy noise!

Switchable NOIZE display Control - This mod reacts to whatever is shown on screen the longer the word or numbers the more noise this will make

4 Momentary GLITCH buttons - Each one will glitch endlessly or as a oneshot glitch depending on which function you have selected. Each button will react differently to each of the computers learning functions - When you want to start again just press the ON button to select another function so you can get more glitches going.

Two way Centre off GLITCH HOLD switch - This acts the same way as the two lower momentary buttons. As those buttons are more for the oneshot glitch. This switch turns them into non stop glitches for when you need it!

The unit does have a bit of plastic chipped off above the display, this is an old unit so it has few marks but everything works fine

Runs on 6 C sized batteries"

Roland CR-78 CompuRhythm with Modifications - Demo Video

Published on Jan 13, 2013 zibbybone·104 videos

"I am selling this Roland CR-78. Here is a quick video demonstrating that its basic functions work properly. A previous owner added a LED readout on the front that counts the number of measures that have been played. The Green button resets the counter. There are individual audio outputs for kick and snare and 2 additional IOs with combinations of instruments. There are some 3 position switches that I have not been able to figure out their function. There are some concentric pots that seem to affect the snare drum. One seems to be filter cut-off, but I'm not sure what the other is for. Unit is 220 volt with European style wall plug. I used a voltage transformer to operate."

Overview starts at :45

"This is a demonstration of how the Meeblip SE and the Yamaha QY100 can work together. All synth sounds heard in the demonstrations were made by me.

I felt like the QY100 doesn't have alot of actual user coverage as far as what information is available about it. Being that it is ultra portable and just plain freaking cool like the Meeblip I thought they would the the perfect companions! If anyone out there has ever used a QY100 they will know that the sequencing options far exceed expectations! The quantizing and step sequencing abilities of the QY100 are especially useful to me.

I am trying to get better at my demo's and if anyone wants to see a certain feature expanded upon please let me know. I wouldn't mind doing patch tutorials also."

Frostwave PVC Scalable Pedal to Voltage Converter

This one in via Brian Comnes.  The following are instructions on how to use the pedal via Paul Perry of Frostwave.  It went for $125 on eBay.

"The instructions for setting up the PVC for other pedals is this: connect expression pedal to box (which turns it on). Set pedal to minimum position. Adjust the blue recessed screw on the front of the PVC where it says 'min' so that the led nearby 'just' lights.

Now set the pedal to maximum & adjust the other blue recessed screw until the 'max' led just comes on. That's it!

The Resonator can run on anything from 14 V AC to 18V AC, it makes no difference. The PVC can run on a 9v DC transformer (centre +ve) or via an internal 9v battery (not supplied).

If you have any questions, contact me directly.

If you want the PVC to sweep both filter inputs at the same time, you can use a 1/4 to two 1/4 splitter plug or cable.
