Steve Scuilli - Hartmann Neuron Live

Also performing will be Bureau of Nonstandards and from Black Moth Super Rainbow Power Pill Fist
Start time is 8pm and goes until 11:30. This is an all age show and is FREE. Your Inner Vagabond is located at 4130 Butler Street, Pittsburgh. Phone: 412-6831623
The Hartmann Neuron uses a form of Artificial Intelligence and memory recognition as it develops its binaural soundscapes. It builds internal neuronic networks that offers 3 dimensional sound choices. All in glorious 5.1 surround sound! This blends perfectly with Steve's core philosophy of connecting the sacred with leading edge technologies. "These are all steps in our evolutionary journey". Steve is excited to be premiering his new instrument at Your Inner Vagabond on Nov 18th.
The Neuron was designed and built by the German designer Axel Hartmann. Around 500 of these instruments were build. This just might be the first time that this boundary breaking musical instrument is played in the Pittsburgh region. Steve will also be utilizing the Akai EWI 4000s wind synthesizer for this show.
Steve Sciulli – Musician and ambient music pioneer. Steve built his first synthesizer at the age of 10 and started the flute at 14. Founding member of the early 1980's progressive group "Carsickness" (which Trouser Press compared to Van der Graaf Generator) and the Celtic rock band "Ploughman's Lunch" along with numerous other regional and national touring musical groups. Steve along with his wife Ami make up the trance healing musical duo Life In Balance. Life In Balance has toured from Alaska to Florida and have been featured on NPR. Their CDs are available on Koch Records and The Relaxation Company. Steve's flute playing can be heard in the new Robert DeNiro and Bruce Willis movie "What Just Happened""

The MiniROM can be installed in any open ROM socket on the Mini Wave or Hylander Expander. MiniROMs can be stacked with MiniROM selection handled by a panel mounted toggle or rotary switch....
The first MiniROM is available with PPG waveforms programmed by Jason Proctor. The PPG waveform set provides 32 banks of 64 waves each. A small wiring harness (provided) is soldered to the Mini Wave to facilitate access to the extended waves and banks." Blacet MiniWave.

Circuit bent Oceanus Noise Box 2
"Oceanus circuit bent noise box 2.
This is one for the sound freaks , bought - sampled to death and now being sold on.Its basically from what i can gather a Drum machine crossed with a Voice modulator , robot vocoder effector which also glitches. The drum machine goes through the effector and there is also an external input for freaking out signals.Theres also a 1/4 out.All working and sounding 'Bent ' :) A pretty unique device and a one off i believe.Heres video i found on you tube of the actual unit.
I personally giove the drum machine without the mods a 8/10 for retardedness. Its about as cheesy as you can get and through a delay or phaser etc sounds really pretty mad and like the salvation army sunday school band on a couple of hundred mushrooms.Add the voice changer mod and effect and glitch and its pretty unexplainable.I had a few to take the circuits and add them onto an sk1 or something but i just dont have time.No reserve and no compensation if this does your head in or freaks out the 'normal ' people in your street. It will up loud !
BugBrand 40106 Quad-Oscillator + 4077 Quad-XNOR

"The 40106 is a great chip to play with - you can make up to 6 simple oscillators from it, but I've chosen to implement simple Syncronization, so only have four Oscs. Each Osc has three rates possible by using a 3way switch. The Sync possibilities use SPDT C/O switches allowing Oscs 2 & 4 to be sync'd to either Osc 1 or Osc 2 (or Sync off).
The 4077 is a quad XNOR gate which gives an effect like ring-modulation (you could also use a 4070 XOR for similar effects)."

PlanB vs Cwejman with Others Droning
YouTube via dkimcg
"Cwejman PH-4 handles the bulk of the timing, it gates a Cwejman ADSR which is used bu the Model 17 Triple Timer to create new triggers and rhythms which fire off the 2nd ADSR and both Model 10 envelope generators which gates the main sound and send that through a pair of Model 12s to help finish off the woody plucky sound.
More info in the annotations as I see useful and remember cool little things about the patch, but it's all modular except the reverb and delay (digital hardware)."

Yonac Software Melodifone

"Now at a special introductory rate of 99 cents: MelodiFone, the virtual wind instrument!
Gone are the days when you were in the middle of a crowd and suddenly remembered: "Drat! I forgot my wind instrument." With MelodiFone, you'll be sure to have a pipe on you always! Simply press the keys and blow into your iPhone's microphone to play your tune-of-the-moment.
Modeled with ease of use in mind, MelodiFone has extra-large buttons, laid out in a fool-proof "oh, I remember this from my grade-school days" fashion. You can also shift registers, playing in any one of the three octaves below, at or above the middle C.
Additionally, you can vary the distance of the microphone (or the force of your breath) to add dynamics to your playing: MelodiFone will recognize this, and adjust the volume accordingly.
And when the mood takes you, get up on the stage, plug into a P.A. and play "Love Vigilantes." MelodiFone won't disappoint."
