Important Notice on the Annual SYNTHMEETING Event Held in Torino Italy

This in via Francesco Mulassano of SYNTHMEETING:

"SYNTH MEETING IMPORTANT COMMUNICATION

I'm FRANCESCO MULASSANO of SYNTHMEETING (www.synthmeeting.com),

While we are working at the seventh edition of SYNTHMEETING to be held in Turin on 27/28 May 2017, we learned that a company based in Turin, has registered two web domains similar to our website domain.

We want to make it clear that these two domains have nothing to do whatsoever with the event titled SYNTHMEETING which has been organised since 2011 by FRANCESCO MULASSANO and LUCA TORASSO.

SYNTHMEETING is a registered brand, the same as the domain www.synthmeeting.com, which is the only correlated domain.

The SYNTHMEETING event is organised by the cultural association NOISECOLLECTIVE whose website is www.noisecollective.net.

The people of this association are:

FRANCESCO MULASSANO
LUCA TORASSO
LUCA MINELLI

The only valid communications regarding the SYNTHMEETING event will come to you, always and only, from these people, and from email addresses of @synthmeeting.com and @noisecollective.net.

Within the Executive Council of the Cultural Association NOISECOLLECTIVE are no commercial activities, companies or their representatives.

Requests, communications, newsletters or reports that may arrive on the SYNTHMEETING 'to' email addresses, other than those mentioned above, will not have any relationship with the SYNTHMEETING event and its staff.

Any questions or concerns can be sent to info@synthmeeting.com

Trusting in your collaboration,

Kindest regards,

Francesco Mulassano
Luca Torasso
Luca Minelli

"Wanted to make a "first patch" type thing to share prior to the full DLD video coming soon and really got into this patch. Had it running for a few days and I keep loosing time to it playing on an evening. The DLD is stunning. Very impressive bit of kit. Any questions let me know."

"more about - http://vtol.cc/filter/works/collector

The object records sounds from the surrounding space, selecting only the loudest ones (those which exceed a certain level). Then, the machine puts together a composition consisting of these sounds organised in the order they were recorded. In fact, the object excludes the silence and composes the music from the surrounding sounds, while compressing the time. The voices, music, city sounds and other random noise are shaped into complex algorithmic compositions, which can be played after it has collected enough of them. It is a kind of reality re-mixer - by simply removing the silence and pauses between loud sounds and words, it creates the sense of very rhythmical and organised aural experience, which sounds very musical to me."

Published on Oct 12, 2016 Metatron's Cube

"I have been wanting to add to the Pittsburgh Modular System 10 for some time but cases to expand have always seemed out of reach, but TipTop Audio released a new plastic based eurorack case that is cheaper than a eurorack module(relatively speaking). I couldn't wait to test it out so we ran the Volca FM through the Mutable Instruments Clouds as an effects unit. Have a great week everyone, and thanks for watching and listening!

Roland TB-303 vs TT-303 vs TB-3 vs TB-03

Published on Oct 11, 2016 ADSR Music Production Tutorials

Would love to hear Abstrakt Instruments Avalon and a x0xb0x thrown in to the mix. There's also the MC-09.

Jump to 6:07 to listen to them in a mix. Listen to the TB-303 come in at 7:59.

"The TB-303 is one of the most sought-after monophonic synthesizers.

Over the years people have made hardware clones of them and software versions as well. It has gone so far that TT-303 looks almost exactly like the original TB!

Roland has issued two digital versions of the 303 in the last few years trying to quench the demand but it seems people still want a reissue of the original analog version.

So in this video we take a listen to the two new digital versions from Roland, the analog Cyclone TT-303 and the Original 303 from 1982.

We listen to the raw version with two different patterns as well the spectrum analysis of all 4 at the same time."

Verbos Electronics Announces The Bark Filter Processor Eurorack Module at Machines in Music Event

via Verbos Electronics

"We announced our new module at Machines in Music, in case you missed it. The Bark Filter Processor is a fixed filter bank with 12 bands on the Bark scale. Each filter is a 6 pole bandpass with a separate output and envelope follower. The voltage controlled mixer from the Harmonic Oscillator then allows dynamic mixing of the filters, as well as separate even/odd processing. LEDs show the content of the input signal and the levels of channels on the mixer. Also, there's a master decay control and master envelope follower output."
