"The synth is working, it powers on and produces sound. Going through the synth all knobs and switches are working, all 4 voices, waveforms, noise source and the VCF/EG/VCA signal chain are working, all ins and outs are working. The arpeggiator works, latches and holds, and will cycle through the 4 vcos, warping them in a deliciously twisted manner when using the X-Mod effects in poly mode. All push button switches are working and all leds work. The pitch bend and modulation wheels both work. Both LFOs (MG1/2) are working on all waveforms at all rates."

"Black Oberheim TVS Pro and almost new condition. Light, home-studio use only in original box etc. Now discontinued and capable of classic Oberheim sounds.

Pure analogue with characteristic multi-mode filters.

The TVS Pro is 2 SEM voices in a very playable keyboard housing with 2, 16 step, sequencers.

Plenty of interfacing options via both MIDI and CV/Gate. Easy to integrate with Eurorack."

"This classic Prophet 600 was just serviced and is SUPER clean!

It is fitted with the GliGli mod and includes a power cord and the original Z80 chip as well!

Aesthetically it is beautiful! The wooden cheeks are in great shape and the body is excellent other then a bit of faded paint."

You can split the voices any way you want. Exepansive pads and

"its a really cool mixer and will make anyone with the other components of the System 100 a complete system or anyone who wants a cool 4 track mixer with a nice spring reverb and effect send. it is cool too cuz the effects have a separate pan control. its very cool, I would keep it but my synth direction has shifted and its time to part with this. as with any old piece of gear it could use a good cleaning. but right now there are no noisey pots."

1979 Oberheim SEM Moog 904A Bass Synthesizer Rig System Leland Sklar

via this auction

BRAND: 360 Systems / Oberheim / Moog

MODEL: Slavedriver/Live Performance Synthesizer

FUNCTION: Live Bass Synthesizer Rig

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a One-of-a-Kind custom built bass synthesizer system built by Wayne Lentis of 360 Systems for Leland Sklar which he used while touring with artist Billy Thorpe supporting his hit song "Children of the Sun" in 1979!

We recently removed this system from Lee's gear locker here in Los Angeles where it has been in storage for 40 years!

What we have here is the Synthesizer section of a very special bass rig that was built for Leland to power his massive 3-Way Klipsch System touring rig. See above for the only known photograph of Lee with it and nearly knocked "unconscious" from its mind blowing power!

As Leland tells it:

"Billy Thorpe was a huge child star in Australia. We did this album and it was a conceptual album that he came up with. Spencer Proffer produced it in his studio in Hollywood called Pasha. We cut it as a trio: it was me and Billy and Alvin Taylor on drums. Billy was great. He was so strong and powerful and into it. He had such a commanding presence.

And also the VCV patch file - https://www.patreon.com/posts/33884605

Here are some patch notes
--------------------------
- I've recorded my guitar into Arbhar and Morphagene.
- I have the built-in reverb of Arbhar set to Wet, and it's going into VCV Rack for some saturation with Debriatus from Freak.
- Morphagene is going through Magneto for some tape warmth and it's being modulated by the Noise Tools from Intellijel.
- In VCV Rack, I have an FM arpeggio that I sequence with the Keystep, and fade in and out with the nanoKontrol.
- I also have some drums going on in VCV Rack, and I send them to the Microcell in BeatRepeat mode, and from there to the Mimeophon.
- I'm triggering Microcell with the random clock of the Noise Tools module, which I'm also using to modulate the Rate of the Mimeophon.
- The EOSG output of the Morphagene is triggering the Flip function of the Mimeophon.
- In VCV Rack, I have another voice that I'm playing with the Keystep into a looper.
- I'm also recording my flute into a looper in VCV Rack."

Palpitation - Ambient Eurorack Modular Synthesizer

Published on Feb 8, 2020 Human Motives

"This is my second ever recorded patch to learn modular. I am now 5 weeks since I first started. Since the last video, I tried a lot, but was not satisfied with any sounds. Maybe some modular fatigue? Learning a lot, but definitely still struggling to get something I like. Uploading this mainly to look back later so I can appreciate what progress I have made.

When making this patch, I did not plan for it to sound this way. I was trying to use white noise from the Shuttle Control to “erode” some of the envelopes, to get a lo-fi sound. I would have loved the piece to be more uplifting musically, instead of the dark mood, but I could not figure out how. It could also do with more melodic variation, so that’s what I am going to practice.

— The Patch —

Morphagene starts with sound from the patch in the buffer. Marbles triggers the envelopes on Quadra and v/octing Plaits and the Instruo T-sl going into Clouds. I'm using the Intuitive Quantizer to force all notes into a scale. Plaits is doing a bass drone that slowly fades in and out. T-sl is feeding Clouds to make a dirty lo-fi pad sound. Rings is doing a weird tribal percussion thing that is a little out of tune. Mimeophone blends it all together with some smeared delays. I'm using WMD clock multiplier to make the Marbles into slow and fast triggers.

- Chris"

Stylophone Gen X-1 Yamaha MK-100 - Pripyat - Moody Soundscape Song-a-day Feb 9th

Published on Feb 9, 2020 ChrisLody

"This one turned out to be quite a moody dystopian sounding soundscape of sorts. It's two layers of Yamaha MK-100 which an 80's home keyboard with a bit of sound editing that almost makes it a synth, almost. The other two layers are from the Stylophone Gen X-1, perfect for this sort of thing.

All recorded to 4 track cassette using the Fostex XR-3 with Zoom 1201 reverb as has been the case lately, a lot.

The whole thing made me think of Pripyat's abandoned buildings."

Each area is assigned to a controller. The sound character can be influenced in many ways by the two scope controls, even self-oscillation is possible!"
