[Sequential] Tracing the genealogy of the Prophet series vol.2 ~Deepening sound creation from a musical point of view~ | Keibando TV #6 [Ikeshibu LIVES]

"The Sequential Prophet series that players and professionals around the world love!

Using the "6 series" (Prophet-6, Trigon-6, OB-6), which are also suitable for playing complex jazz chords due to their increased polyphony, and titled "Sound Creation from a Musical Perspective," he will explain in an easy-to-understand manner how to graduate from the situation of simply playing synth presets and how to devise and approach the sound you want to play in an ensemble with other instruments!

We invited Mr. Ryo Hirai, who is in charge of promotion and technical support and familiar with the product, and Mr. Ietaka Nagao as a demonstrator from Fukusan Kigyo, the domestic import agent of the brand, and we will deliver it with demonstration performances including drums and keyboards.

FM in Modular: Types, Patches, and Tips

video upload by Chris Meyer: Learning Modular + Alias Zone

"How do you patch frequency modulation (FM) in a modular? What are the differences between exponential, linear, and through-zero FM? How do you deal with pitch shifts when increasing the FM depth? What happens when a VCO frequency-modulates itself, or is patched in a feedback loop? All of that is explained in this movie. Teenage Engineering OP-1 Field: House music on a deserted island

video upload by Freedom of Movement

"Today I went to a tiny deserted island in the Swedish archipelago- just a rock in the sea. I had my @teenageengineering OP-1 Field with me & made some house music. It was tricky to film though as there wasn’t a single flat surface on the entire rock.

While I was filming I got attacked by ants and ticks. You gotta suffer for your art I guess…

It is what it is, short & sweet. Enjoy!"

7/22/23 DEMO: EML 200 (x2) + Ton Atelier Lauter eurorack EML 101 clones (for sale)

video upload by Cfpp0

"This is a demonstration of the (great) sound of two eurorack modules by Ton Atelier Lauter. They are clones of the EML 102 VCF and the VCA/ring modulator. Feeding them actual EML oscillators seemed appropriate for the demo and sounds good.

The note cards will tell you which mode the filter is in."

via this auction

"Ton Atelier Lauter is in Germany. I imported this VCF originally to use with my EML 200, which doesn’t have voltage control over the filters. Somehow the 200 got surrounded by DOT COM filters and Metasonix TM boxes and the Ton Atelier Lauter EML 101 VCF clones got sidelined (See my other listing for the EML 101 RingMod/VCA).

So it’s up for grabs. If you don’t know EML, but like that Steiner Parker Synthacon sound or that MS20 mk1 sound then you might like messing with this. Comes in original box with power cable."

5 Jams with Fractio Solum clock divider/multiplier from Noise Engineering

video upload by Noise Engineering

"Check out these 5 Jams using the Fractio Solum clock divider/multiplier Eurorack module. We hope these jams will inspire you to think of new ways to patch.

0:05 Jam 1
0:35 Jam 2
1:08 Jam 3
2:02 Jam 4
2:36 Jam 5

More info on Fractio Solum: https://bit.ly/351qnkn

Jam 1: The clock from the Horologic Solum is feeding the FS, which is outputting three different clocks for the kick, snare and hat. Then we're using the Sinc Defero attenuator to adjust the CV going into the ratio input of the FS to make different patterns. Adding more attenuation by turning the Sinc Defero's knob will increase the ratio, creating some nice fills!

Jam 2: We like being able to add triplets to your sequence, and here's an easy way to do that with the Fractio Solum. You can also press on the encoder to mute the pattern to create silence in your sequence.

Jam 3: Here we're adding the same clocked tempo to the Fractio Solum and the tap input on the Electus Versio. The Fractio Solum's trigger pattern to the Manis Iteritas changes as the ratio changes, but the EV's echoes keep the original clock signal, making some really glitchy pumping reverb, especially with the Regen knob turned all the way up.

Jam 4: Here's how you can create unique step lengths: Send a clock into the FS, then out to clock the Mimetic Digitalis. Then, patch one of the Mimetic's CV outputs back to Fractio Solum's ratio input. Then program Mimetic's CV to change the length of each step.

Jam 5: In this patch, we're manually turning the ratio to change multiplications or divisions which increase or decrease the amount of triggers for those explosive stabs."
