Geo-Gruven from Synthetic Sound Labs
video upload by NOISEBUG
"The 2655 Geo-Gruvn is a six channel, 16 step Euclidean rhythm / gate sequencer for Eurorack modular synths in only 6 HP.
Geo-Gruvn is inspired by the brilliant efforts of Japanese designer Hagiwo, and produced by SSL with kind permission. SSL has also significantly enhanced the hardware and software leading to better performance and improved functionality.
Each of the six output channels allow adjustment of:
Hits – The number of outputs generated, with Euclidean spacing.
Offset – Changes the starting point for the Euclidean sequence.
Length – The number of steps for this channel before resetting.
Mute – Turns on/off all outputs of the selected channel.
A single rotary encoder allows uncomplicated selection of channels and functions with simple visual feedback provided by a bright blue OLED display.
In addition to its extensive Clock / Sequencing related duties, Geo-Gruvn can respond to Clock inputs well into the audio range, making it a convenient 6-channel frequency divider.
A Pattern Memory screen allows non-volatile storage for up to 8 pattern sequences.
The Geo-Gruvn features a bright OLED display, clock and reset inputs, 6 gate / trigger outputs, a rotary encoder for selecting functions, and an eight Pattern non-volatile memory. All inputs and outputs are standard 3.5mm phone jacks with an associated LED panel indicator.
Power is supplied by standard 10 pin Eurorack power header.
Quality, solder-masked, fiberglass-epoxy printed circuit boards and meticulous hand-crafted assembly assure years of trouble-free service.

Exploring pulsar synthesis with Hieroglyphic Plume
video upload by Tom Churchill
"Plume is the debut module from Hieroglyphic. It’s a digital oscillator based around pulsar synthesis, which is a fairly obscure technique devised by Curtis Roads in 2001, inspired by astronomical observations of neutron stars. In this video I build a few patches to explore the range of sounds it can produce - from complex stereo leads to West Coast-style wavefolded tones to rich, modulated drones.
Thanks to Hieroglyphic for supplying the module."

The RadioPhonic - Sounds inspired by vintage Sci-fi soundtracks (see description for more info)
video upload by AJH Synth Official
"The RadioPhonic - A short performance of some sounds inspired by the early work of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, specifically the TV series Doctor Who (a particular nod here to the story 'The Sea Devils'), and other Sci-fi/horror TV or movies from the 1960's to early 1980's.
This is the third of a few example videos featuring The RadioPhonic - a synth commissioned by Hans Zimmer, recreations of which are now available to pre-order at https://ajhsynth.com/Radiophonic.html. The RadioPhonic features 48 AJH Synth modules, including 8 envelopes, 7 VCOs, 6 LFOs, 6 VCFs, up to 7 VCAs, random voltage generators, random gates, phaser, fixed filter bank, dedicated noise oscillator, wave-folder, wave multipliers, audio and CV mixers, ring modulators, sub-octave generator, glide/slew, octave/semitone switching, multiples... and in a beautiful hardwood, well-powered Eurorack case.
Patch notes:
The ring modulator sound at the beginning uses the Ring SM's 3-way ring mod, where inputs Y and Z are both modulators. A triangle from a VCO is used, along with two sine waves created with the Gemini 2412, by setting both filters to self-oscillate. The frequency/pitch of these are then controlled by random voltages created with the Dual RVG. The Dual RVG also generates random gates simultaneously, which are used to trigger the VCA. This means all events it generates are in time with each other.
Video by @DreamsOfWires
The AJH SYNTH Eurorack modular range consists of high-end modules, all hand-made in the UK, most of which are based on classic, vintage designs, authentically recreating the circuitry of much sought-after analogue instruments and technologies of the past, whilst greatly expanding them, and bringing them to modern Eurorack levels of convenience, limitless flexibility, and reliability.

"The Deep End" Vol. 1 - 76 Custom Novation Bass Station II Presets by Glo Phase
video upload by Glo Phase
https://www.josephrusnakmusic.com/dow...
"After ten years with this wonder of a synth and a handful of requests I decided it was time to organize my own presets into a collection to make available for download. "The Deep End" is comprised of Basses, Leads, Plucks, Duophonic Keys, as well as a few FX and Drum patches. These are a combination of some of my favorite personal patches I’ve created over the past 10 years as well as some new creations made specifically for this preset pack. I was aiming for some versatility but naturally gravitate toward sounds I personally like, as well as more usable sounds.
Patch list below. Enjoy!"

Best Ambient Synth Shootout #133: EMU Carnaval - Song 1
video upload by Christian's Sonic Spaces
"This is the first lazy afternoon recording with the EMU Carnaval. It is a 32-voice, 16‑part multitimbral synth module focussing on Latin music sounds. It shares the same platform than the Planet Phatt und Orbit 9090V2.
I used for the recording the following FX pedals:
Pigtronix Echolution 2 Deluxe, GFI System Specular Reverb 2.
The signal went through a Presonus StudioLive 16.0.2 into the PC via USB for recording. To create the complete song I recorded consecutively several stereo tracks. On some tracks Compressor and EQ where added in Cubase. The final song was then mastered using iZotope Ozone.
Well, I decided to go back to the basics, but at the same time make something useful for the synth community and do a kind of competition (I like competitions;-). What's my best synth for ambient music :-)"
Bob Moog Signed muSonics Moog Sonic V

"Musonics (properly spelled "muSonics", per its trademark), was a synth manufacturer that existed briefly in the late 1960s. It is notable for the fact that its owner, Bill Waytena, bought Moog Music from Bob Moog in 1970. Waytena created Musonics in 1967 or '68, with the idea that he would market a synth as a home entertainment device, a market that Waytena saw as much larger than the professional musician market. He hired ex-Moog employee Gene Zumchak to design a synth called the Sonic V. However, the synth did not sell, and Waytena reasoned that it needed a well-known brand name for marketing purposes. In 1969 he learned that Bob Moog's existing company, R. A. Moog, was in financial trouble, and arranged to buy the company from Moog in 1970. He then merged Musonics with it. Thus, Waytena became the owner of the first incarnation of Moog Music. The merged companies were first called Moog/Musonics, changing to Moog Music in 1972. The Sonic V was Musonics' only product prior to the merger. Post-merger, Bob Moog took the design and made a few improvements, fitting it into an integrated flight case design that had been proposed during theMinimoogprototyping stage. This became theSonic Six, a model that Moog himself subsequently often used for public lectures and demonstrations. The Sonic V is virtually the same but it has the diode ladder filter, same as found in the EMS VCS3. People that have owned both the Sonic V and the Sonic 6, claim there's something special about the way the Sonic V sounds. This is currently being carefully restored as this one is signed by Bob Moog, dated 2/87, there were less than 100 of these ever made and far few of those are probably still even around. This is also getting a cinch jones conversion to cv/gate."

Moog DFAM live patching performance minimalist techno
video upload by EthanJamesMusic
"For this video, I wanted to do a live minimalist techno patching performance. This is unrehearsed and completely improvised, so results varied, but I did find a bunch of good rollicking bass lines. I hope that my approach helps you learn some different ways for how to approach the instrument, and this is only scratching the surface of what the Moog DFAM is capable of doing. I may do a series in different styles to see what happens when I just turn it on and follow the sound. Please leave a comment with any questions you may have!"

The passing memories | Moog Minimoog and Rhodes piano
video upload by MIDERA
"This is my 6th Father's Day as a 'Papa' to my children (well, 7th if you count the one right before my daughter was born?). They have taught me so much. First, I didn't really know how much fear they would bring - fear that something would (and always could still) happen to them. It's a constant struggle that I hope I have for the rest of my life . Second, exhausting they are - but like in a way where you look back and feel joy from that. It's hard to explain, but I suppose it's like anything that is hard but you're proud of. Third - regret. I sit here, now, writing this, with them upstairs playing without me. I should be with them. Or the moments I'm on my phone, not playing with them and recognizing it. I try to do better, but somehow, I never really feel like I do well enough. Fourth, joy. I don't think there's really any greater joy than my kids. They are my greatest source of joy. Fifth, and finally, that it all goes away too fast. Watching my mom and dad pass away in front of my eyes (it was peaceful - but tragic all the same) - I saw all the love and memories just slowly wiped from them. I have those memories, but aging comes so fast, and I can see my kids growing up faster than I'd like them to. Aging just felt 'easier' without kids. I don't know. There's nothing you can do, but then your brain reminds you - they will some day be my age, then someday be older like my parents were when they passed, and they will be in the same place. Hard to comprehend, but I guess I still sit there and think about it.
I don't know much in life - but I do know that my kids are the most important part of it. So, Happy Father's Day to any other father out there. And really to any person who is in that role... I like to tell my wife that Father's Day is meaningless without her."
