Trogotronic 647E BARBARITUBE
video upload by trogotronic
Massive flashing lights warning for anyone sensitive to them.
"Model 647E Electro-Acoustic Analog Tube Synth Short Demonstration 1"
"BarbariTube 647E—our first Electro-Acoustic circuit in a TubeSynth—is HIGH-VOLTAGE ANALOG pure, uncut & triple-distilled. Which is to say it’s a TubeSynth able to play the actual SPACE you’re in. We took a high-voltage twin-triode vacuum tube wired for maximum gain, cut out all the expensive patch-cord CV/OPTO bits, ditched the pricey button logic hardware & shoved the business-end of our first ever Electro-Acoustic Synth Circuit smack in-the-middle.
How does it work? You plug it in. You fuck around. You find out.
You do so LOUDLY if you know what’s bad for the neighbors—& good—for the Electro-Acoustic circuitry.
Barbaritube’s authentic organic Tube-Analog sounds are alive, at your fingertips—NOW—& critically—HERE.
Making music in the “here & now” is refreshing: NO endless nested menus or deep-dish manuals to memorize just to get started. Hands down Barbaritube the fastest way to get kicked out of any respectable band, synth meet or swap meet.
Tube-Analog Barbaritube runs at nearly 200 volts with virtually limitless Analog resolution. When 247E’s signals are reduced to a blazing-hot range of 0 to +/-18v the transients get SHARPER & PURER—not blurrier & more messy like the legions of digi-chipped knob-gobbers. That’s what gives its voice that incomparable impact.

3 cool Eurorack modules you might not know about
video upload by Tom Churchill
"This video features three of my favourite modules that I think have flown under the radar a bit: the Altered State Machines Aristotle, which is a two-channel non-linear analogue ‘additive sequencer’; the Beers DAC, which is a voltage-controllable transposer/adder; and the AtoV Project cDVCA, which is a unique kind of waveshaping, distorting, VCA, filter, combo.
What they have in common is that they’re affordable; they're the only modules of their kind, as far as I can tell; and I hardly ever see them in other people’s racks. NB: This isn’t a sponsored video, I’m just a fan!

SY-4X SyncussionExtended Plug-In VS SY-1 Hardware -Raw Test
video upload by Aly James
"Raw comparison while tinkering around with the OG Syncussion hardware, enough to hear that SY-4X is very close :) note that it is impossible to match settings as this 100% 70s analog circuit is drifting a lot and that a slight move on sliders can change voltage drastically, especially evident when FM is involved plus sometimes I forgot which one is which and tried to match the wrong one... ahahaha."

Sequential Prophet 5 Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer Signed by John Carpenter?

"The triumphant return of Sequential Circuit's Prophet 10, signed by the Horror Master himself, Mr. John Carpenter.
[The Story] I purchased this synthsizer direct from Sequential in 2020, shorly after it's initial release and have owned it ever since. Being a massive John Carpenter fan, and noting he created a lot of his famous score work on the original Prophet 5, I sought out to have him personally sign this keyboard. This autograph was aquired on August 12th, 2022 at the Monroeville Convention Center's Steel City Con via a brief VIP meet and greet with Mr. Carpenter. It was autographed along with one other item I brought along, a model of the Christine movie car.
[The Details] I am the original owner of this synthesizer and it has never left my climate controlled studio. I would rate this unit in mint condition. No visible blemishes, scuffs, dents or scratches. Functions as expected. Please see photos.
Unit comes with power supply, framed comemorative poster, and full sized soft road case. No original manual or box included.
Unfortunately, I am unable to provide any sort of certificate of authenticity verifying the signature on this item."

Roland JV-1080, a '90s dream synth? First track with this vintage rompler | Dark, Moody, Cinematic
video upload by Electronic Tiger
"In a comment under another video @Iofflight78 mentioned that the Roland JV-1080 hardware sampler/rompler from 1994 might be a good it for me and my music. And boy, were they right! This is the first track I made with the synth. Basically just checking out some of the presets on this box. Creating a dark, moody, leaning towards epic piece of music. Well, striving to be epic. You can be the judge on whether or not I achieved that."
Ambient Techno Jam - Roland S-1, Sonicware Lofi-12 XT
video upload by ChrisLody
"It's been a really long time since I've had time to record a jam, but here's something I've been wanting to try for a while. I've had the Roland S-1 for a few weeks (actually maybe months 😅) without any time to actually dig in an make some music with it. It pairs very nicely with the Sonicware Lofi-12 XT sampler which in this video is handling drum and instrument samples as well as sequencing the S-1 via midi. I've even gone to the extent of making some custom DIN midi to TRS midi cables so I can connect the two together without the need for the usual clunky adapters. The audio from the S-1 can be run through the inputs on the XT for monitoring, adding FX and of course sampling, but here I've run the two devices into my DAW separately for recording. No FX were added after recording apart from a tiny bit of EQ, everything else is the FX on the S-1 and XT respectively. "
S-4 Exploration: Transforming classic 'Pong' sounds into lush, evolving soundscapes

"S-4 Explorations: Transforming classic 'Pong' sounds into lush, evolving soundscapes 🏓 🌊
Track 1 plays the sounds from ‘Pong’, mangling it using granular processing with added reverb and delay. Tracks 2-4 are processed serially through the S-4’s internal send system, creating adaptive soundscapes that naturally interact and react to each other."

Here, I am adding some Microcosm magic. It is always a pleasure to explore the Microcosm!
