"This work was created using the @teenageengineering OP-1 Field and YAMAHA CS01.
The CS01 is processed through @HologramElectronics MICROCOSM with reverb applied and is occasionally looped using PHRASE LOOPER.
On the OP-1 Field, a Rhodes performance is played back while layering hand-played percussion and synth parts. Additionally, @strymon TIMELINE is used on the OP-1 Field to apply delay and occasionally add pitch effects to the overall sound."

"I ordered the Elta Solar 42f synth for my birthday and waited eight weeks (maybe I was patient 😅) for it to arrive. It’s here, and I’m loving it!
Here’s a quick (ok, eight minutes or so) jam as I dig into it. Pretty much just from the Solar, with some equalization in Final Cut.
Tips and feedback are always welcome—there’s so much to learn with this synth!"

"If you know me you know I'm not a fan of behringer....at all. But 1 of the 2 behringers I have left, after the behringer purge of early 2024, has not had the audio outs hooked up to the mixer for maybe 2 years. So I decided to revisit it. I used the DM12 editor in blender mode. Loaded up 4 presets to the XY and found an interesting base and tweaked out these sounds. These are some sounds I'm using for an upcoming track.
The visuals are representative of what runs through my head when I hear the sounds...sort of.

From the manual:
The module features six outputs and two inputs. Each output is numbered from 1 to 6 and is accompanied by an LED dot that indicates the current state of the output. The inputs consist of a Clock input, which receives clock signals and triggers specific actions, and a CV input, which functions as a trigger for various control voltage signals. When a clock signal is detected, the corresponding LED will light up red. When an output is active the corresponding dot will light up white. You need to save all settings in the CONFIG menu.
The primary navigation tool is the rotary encoder, which allows you to toggle between different states and menus by pressing it. The module includes a potentiometer labeled Range, which is used to adjust a delay parameter.
Sequencer
In the sequencer program menu. You see a matrix of six channels (rows) by 16 steps (columns). Each channel can be toggled on or off by pressing the encoder. The current step is indicated by a white dot. The sequencer can be started and stopped by pressing the encoder. You can access the sequencer settings by scrolling the first element left or the last element right.
Random Trigger/Gates
The Random trigger program allows you to set a probability for each channel to trigger. The probability is set by the range potentiometer. The probability is displayed as a bar graph. The program can be set to trigger all channels at once or in a sequence.
Clock Divider
The clock divider program allows you to divide the incoming clock signal by a factor. Each circle represents one channel. If filled it will trigger the output. The divider can be set to a specific number or a mode like power of 2, prime numbers, or fibonacci numbers.

"This is the first (lazy sunday) recording with the Roland JD-08. It is a recreation of the revered, 90s synth JD-800.
I used for the recording the following FX pedals:
Pigtronix Echolution² Deluxe, GFI System Specular Reverb², OTO Boum
The signal went through a Presonus StudioLive 16.0.2 into the PC via USB for recording. To create the complete song I recorded consecutively several stereo tracks. On some tracks Compressor and EQ where added in Cubase. The final song was then mastered using iZotope Ozone.
Well, I decided to go back to the basics, but at the same time make something useful for the synth community and do a kind of competition (I like competitions;-). What's my best synth for ambient music :-)"
