This colossal synthesizer, valued at $150,000, is one of only five ever made. Demonstrations are scheduled with musicians Lisa Bella Donna, Andrew Colyer & Robert Berry, and Rachel Flowers, along with the reissue's co-developer, synth historian Brian Kehew. "This relic has seen some play in its day. Good condition considering the age. There are some cosmetic wear, signage, and the keys have been wrapped with a space graphic. One of the frame screws is missing but isn't structural."

"Early Minimoog, circa 1974, built in the Williamsville, NY factory. For its age and heritage it's tuning is very stable, and every thing is working properly. Well worn and loved, for good reason. This is one of the better Minimoogs' we've heard come through our doors. Serial No. 4844.

One of the most influential electronic instruments of the modern era.

Service notes:
-Replaced electrolytic capacitors
-Replaced (4) failed 'tropical fish' capacitors
-Repaired cracked solder connections throughout
-Removed, opened and cleaned several sealed control panel pots
-Cleaned switches and non-sealed potentiometers
-Replaced keybed bushings and reset key positions
-Cleaned buss bars and key contacts
-Cleaned keybed
-Cleaned pcb edge connectors and sockets
-Cleaned calibration trim pots
-Calibrated, ran for several hours then rechecked calibration
-Removed and cleaned sealed bender and modulation potentiometers
-Removed old remaining film from front panel"

Sleepy Ambient with Prophet 12, Moog Muse, Pro 2 and Eurorack Modular

"This is a live session with some of my favourite synthesisers at the moment. The slow noise is a noise generator into Frap Tools Fumana filterbank, modulated by a Pam's Pro Workout and effected by Empress Euroburo Zoia and Strymon Starlab. The rhythmic noise is a sequenced patch on the Sequential Pro 2 through a Boss SL20 slicer. The Moog Muse is playing a slow pattern arpeggio through an Eventide Modfactor and on top of that I play the Prophet 12 through an Eventide H9 (blackhole algoritm).

This is an unedited take on what I usually do in my studio to relax. Usually it is never recorded. But as it is friday, and a new year has started, let's just do it a bit different, ey?

Outside we have more snow than I ever experienced here in Denmark, so the music kind of reflects that cold but cosy mood.

I hope you enjoy it."

Il Solton Programmer 24, lanciato nel 1985, è riconosciuto come uno dei primissimi strumenti a introdurre il concetto di arranger automatico nel mercato delle tastiere, tanto da essere spesso definito 'l'apripista' dell'intero settore.
Questo strumento, prodotto dall'azienda italiana Ketron (con il marchio Solton), è considerato una pietra miliare nell'evoluzione delle tastiere arranger.

Impatto Culturale: è stato soprannominato 'Italian Disco Machine' per il suo ruolo nel plasmare il suono della musica Italo Disco.
Il Programmer 24 non è solo un pezzo di storia per gli appassionati, ma è anche al centro di iniziative come 'Arranger Legacy', un progetto web che mira a preservare la memoria di questi strumenti iconici e dei loro creatori.

"This piece was created using the ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10, ‪@MoogSynthesizers‬ Moog One, ‪@NordKeyboards‬ Nord Lead, ‪@YamahaSynthsOfficial‬ CP-88, and CBX-K1XG.
It is a composition where gentle synthesizer tones are layered with delay-soaked piano sounds.

On the Prophet-10, slow-attack synth pads are performed and processed with reverb and filtering using the ‪@strymon‬ NIGHTSKY.

The CP-88 is used to play piano with its built-in delay and reverb.

On the CBX-K1XG, string sounds are performed and processed through ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ LOST+FOUND, adding reverb and delay.

The Moog One plays soft, low-attack synth pads with a generous amount of reverb applied via its master effects.

The Nord Lead provides additional synth pad layers, processed with reverb using the ‪@gfisys‬ Specular Tempus.

As the layered synthesizer sounds gradually overlap and fade away, the piano weaves through the space, filling the gaps between them."
