3x Ambient Explorations // Novation Peak // Cocoquantus // Soma Cosmos // Chase Bliss & Oto Pedals
video upload by Lesjamusic
"The Novation Peak does just sound so damn good. I went into a weekend sesh with the intention of building a new Midi map for it, but got stuck simply enjoying how great it sounds. The Peak is the sound source for everything you hear across these three pieces. I took snippets and looped in Cocoquantus then smeared using Cosmos. I also took a second FX send through Onward / Lossy / Gen Loss for some added texture. Oto Boum and CXM 1978 ever present."

A Juno-60 Lost in a Loop
video upload by BellaBell
"The Roland Juno-60 is once again at the center of this performance, this time built around a looping texture created with the Hologram Microcosm.
The Juno is fed into the Microcosm to create the repeating foundation, then shaped further with saturation from the Chase Bliss Generation Loss and processing from the Hologram Chroma Console.
Throughout the performance, Tao uses slow filter swells on the Juno-60, pushing its resonance to bring out more psychedelic tones and movement from the synth.

They changed their mind (CHOMPI)
video upload by chase bliss
"We're no longer pursuing what we've been calling "CHOMPI 1.5" at this time.
You may remember we made an announcement last year that we would be starting to manufacture CHOMPI ourselves going forward. The plan was to make a backwards-compatible CHOMPI that would have slightly different hardware from the original but the same processor, so that no matter what CHOMPI you bought you would have access to the same firmware.
Well, that turned out to be a pretty bad idea.
The main reason is that we started to bump into the limits of what that processor was capable of while making the new TEMPO firmware. The manufacturing process was also turning into a bit of a puzzle, and so we found ourselves in the position of essentially recreating an existing product that was already maxed out. It would have been time-consuming, expensive, and limiting for future ideas. It just didn’t make sense.
So that leaves us in the awkward spot we’re in now. Sorry.
Chelsea and Tobias are still working here and we’ll be continuing to support CHOMPI – we’re leaving the door open for what’s next – but at this specific moment we are not working on or planning any new CHOMPI products."

Arena Digitalis
video upload by Sid Rockett
"🔊 Learn how to build the Arena Digitalis, a high-performance Arduino granular audio processor for real-time glitch, shimmer, and ambient textures.
In this deep dive, we explore the Arena Digitalis—an open-source Arduino audio project designed for experimental musicians and sound designers.
Granular synthesis is often gatekept by expensive hardware like the Mutable Instruments Clouds or Chase Bliss Mood.
The Arena Digitalis brings those "micro-looping" capabilities to the Arduino Nano/Uno platform using the new R4 processor.

Dub Techno with FM Synthesis on a Game Boy Advance | Peak 2026-07-04 by atnr
video upload by atnr
"A live dub techno jam built around a Game Boy Advance running FMS — a groovebox by Lo-Bit Club that runs real-time 2-OP FM synthesis natively on the GBA. The sequence and FM sounds you hear from the GBA are all generated on the handheld itself. The @rolandglobal TR-08 and @MoogSynthesizers Subharmonicon are synced via the MSY2. The TR-08 runs through a @strymon blueSky reverb, while the Subharmonicon is tweaked in real time through the Strymon TIMELINE delay. The OP-1 field loops reverb-soaked chords, and the @ChaseBliss MOOD MKII layers evolving micro-loops on top.
Gear used:
・Game Boy Advance + FMS ( https://lobit-club.itch.io/fms )
・Moog Subharmonicon
・Roland TR-08 → Strymon blueSky
・Strymon TIMELINE
・Teenage Engineering OP-1 field
・Chase Bliss MOOD MKII

Chase Bliss BIG TIME Delay Showcase | Sound Demo (feat. Modal Element One) @ChaseBlissAudio
video upload by Davide Puxeddu
"A pure audio demonstration of the Chase Bliss Big Time hybrid analog/digital echo, utilizing the newly released Modal Electronics Element One virtual analog synthesizer as the main sound source.
No talking, just hardware.
Designed in collaboration with John Snyder of Electronic Audio Experiments (EAE), the Chase Bliss Big Time is a true-stereo hybrid echo that revisits the mixed-up, unique circuitry found in rackmount delays from the early 1980s. In that era, advanced analog engineering was functionally used to prop up crude digital systems. The Big Time intentionally embraces and pushes this hybrid architecture to its absolute extremes.
This video showcases how the Big Time's interactive controls and dual stages of analog coloration transform incoming synthesizer signals:
• Stereo Analog Preamp (Color): Adds beautiful, warm saturation to the input stage, designed to handle a wide variety of instruments.
• Feedback Loop Limiter (State): An analog clipping limiter in the delay path that creates everything from smooth compression to crumbling, misbiased overdrive that slowly disintegrates your echoes.
• Cluster Slider: Blends in additional delay taps and diffusion, smudging and expanding the sound into rich ambient delights and multi-tap clusters inspired by vintage space station units.
• Scale & Motion: Controls creative transposition, Thermae-like musical sequencing, and stereo modulation (Sine, Square, Envelope).
Watch how the Big Time's motorized faders react and seamlessly transition through different delay modes—from tight modulations (3-46ms) to Short (46-736ms) and Long delays, across HiFi, Focus, Warm, and Analog voicings.
Providing the core audio tracking is the Modal Element One. Its 8-voice virtual analog engine, morphable filters, and rich stereo waveforms offer the perfect high-quality sonic canvas to test the Big Time's true-stereo capabilities, input saturation, and analog dry-thru.
🎧 Headphones or studio monitors are highly recommended to capture the full true-stereo imaging and analog character of the pedal.
Special thanks to Chase Bliss!"
