PAIA 4780 Sequencer + Two 4770 Power Watt Blocks

"In basic terms, a sequencer is simply another control voltage and trigger source. Unlike other controllers, however; it allows the user to pre-program an extended sequence of control voltage variations that can be called up on a command and allows the variations to be executed at speeds beyond human capabilities. In addition to their obvious applications in generating fast arpeggios and automatic bass lines, sequencers can also be used as programmable function generators, counters, or clock sources.

Considerable time and effort has gone into making the PAiA 4780 as versatile as possible without losing the user in a hopeless tangle of operational details. Many of the internal "housekeeping" functions are automatic yet externally available inputs and controls permit by-passing automatic functions in favor of manual control.

The 4780 circuitry is comprised of an Op-amp Integrated Circuits, Transistors, Resistors, Potentiometers, Trimpots, Capacitors, and LEDs. It requires power from an external dual-polarity 9 volt and 18v DC power supply. Control Voltages are input and output via pin (tip) connectors (sockets)."

"LIDER-2 (produced by Formanta factory in 1982 - the one which made a legendary POLIVOKS) is a guitar microsynthesizer designed to be applied by guitar players who use external effects in the live performance or studio work. The synthesizer is a floor-mounted unit with five rubber footswitches; it also has sliders and knobs for changing the parameters of effects. LEADER-2 has 5 main series sections: equalizer, flanger, chorus, solo, rhythm. - everyone with its own parameters and indicators. Commutation: line input, output (line, phone, amplifier). On the outer surface of the bottom panel, an input sensitivity regulator is situated.

This video shows two ways to tie the Eigenharp's expression capabilities to the modulation features of the Slim Phatty. The first one uses the breath pipe, similarly to a traditional mod wheel and the second approach uses the sideways inclination of the playing keys to control the modulation amount.

"My two modular Moog Synthesizers, in my former home studio before I moved to my present residence.

On the left is a Moog 12, still in its hideous cheap white vinyl that the previous owner upholstered it in. (The modules have been somewhat rearranged into a more logical layout than originally installed by Moog Music.)

On the right is a Moog 15, still factory spec.

Both instruments are now nearly 40 years old, and still fully playable. I use them together as a single instrument for greater flexibility.

Atop the keyboard controller is a Ribbon Controller, and to the left of the keyboard is a 959 X-Y Controller."
