"This video features Jay Wires, electronic music producer and resident synth programmer at The Synth Sanctuary vintage synth recording studio in New York City. This patch was created on a Roland System-100m, two ARP 2600s and four ARP sequencers, all lovingly restored and maintained by Tone Tweakers Inc., the Vintage Synth Perfectionists."
"Up for sale is a promotional glider for the Fairlight MFX3 plus pro audio system. This would have come from a pro audio trade show. It is in mint condition as it is still sealed in plastic wrap and never opened. Great for the collector. Hard to find these days."
"Recorded during the March blizzard in New Jersey, using synths and modules from Moog, Make Noise, Expert Sleepers, and Dave Smith Instruments. All notes are from the Moog Mother-32 sequencers. All reverb is from Ableton (Ableton's clock was stopped). Audio recorded from the outputs of the Expert Sleepers ES-8."
"Sequencing the Eowave Domino synth voice with the DU MDLR DuSeq. Playing a baseline first with the Domino’s built in oscillator, than mixing in the Erica Synths Pico VCO with the Domino’s oscillator. The second half of the video the Domino’s oscillator is replaced by the Pico VCO and Synthesis Technology E350 Morphing Terrarium Oscillator, but the filter, VCA and envelope generators of the Domino are still being used.
The Domino is a redesign of its desktop synth bigger brother. Packing a full-featured synthesizer voice into 10HP, the Domino includes a saw/square wave oscillator, ladder type low pass filter, decay envelope and VCA. A plethora of patching possibilities makes this module a keen choice for portable systems, and those looking for deep sonic crafting within a tight HP space. Pair with a sequencer for instant basslines and acid lead lines, add some modulation to unlock the full sound design potential

Note the Roland D50 is not featured in the video above. The video is just to give you an idea of what DODEKA is. In short:
"DODEKA is a revolutionary music system that simplifies playing and composing music. With this new system, you'll be able to quickly and easily learn how to compose and play great music."
"DODEKA introduces a revolutionary keyboard, the DODEKA keyboard, based on a chromatic configuration, where all keys are set at the same level.
As mentioned earlier, instruments with a keyboard such as the organ, the piano, etc., have a structure that unfortunately replicates the traditional notational method.
The DODEKA system works with every instrument. However, the design of the standard keyboard by contrast to strings and brass instruments greatly handicaps musicians, since it reproduces the “defects” of the traditional notational system as seen earlier.
Only a keyboard that replicates the real form of music allows to fully benefiting from the coherence of DODEKA and encourages musical expression. That is why DODEKA introduces a new keyboard, the DODEKA keyboard, in which all keys are set on chromatic configuration.
The Advantages of the DODEKA Keyboard
In a chromatic disposition, each note of the scale is side by side, there is no more established and penalising construction. Each interval is equivalent which allows the musician to very easily control the “musical space” because the keyboard perfectly replicates what is happening in the sound universe.
This configuration provides an incalculable benefit for those who improvise, as it enables to avoid the long-out calculations imposed by the traditional keyboard."
Only two others have been featured on the site before. You can find some demos here. Note this is based on the Electronic Synthesiser Construction book by R.A. Penfold which you can still find used on Amazon, albeit for over $250.
"Moog analog filters have long reigned supreme as the most musical audio filtering circuits ever devised.
Built for modern sequencer-based song production, the new Moog Multimode XL plug-in for UAD-2 hardware and Apollo interfaces borrows from various incarnations of classic Moog designs, nailing the essential Moog filter character unlike any software emulation in history."
"Moog analog filters have long reigned supreme as the most musical audio filtering circuits ever devised. With its incredibly rich sounds — ranging from buzz-saw to syrupy — and built in sequencing capabilities, the new UAD Moog Multimode Filter Collection for UAD-2 hardware and Apollo interfaces represents a major advancement for all of filter kind.
Built for modern sequencer-based song production, the new Moog Multimode Filter XL plug-in — a one year effort between Moog Music and UA — borrows from various incarnations of Moog designs, nailing the essential Moog filter character unlike any software emulation in history. "Featuring gritty bitcrushing, lo-fi multi-effects, and analog filtering, the OTO BISCUIT 8‑bit Effects processor is a modern cult classic. This French-made box quickly gained favor with EDM producers, DJs, and remixers with its lush soundscapes, distortion, waveshaping, pitch shifting, and the desire to mangle and destroy everything in its path.
Developed by Softube, and available exclusively for UAD-2 hardware and Apollo interfaces, the OTO BISCUIT 8‑bit Effects plug-in is an exacting emulation of both the digital and analog circuitry of the hard-to-find hardware that lets you deconstruct with endless creativity and depravity."
"KV331 Audio waves in intuitive wavetable synthesis era with SynthMaster One soft synth
ANKARA, TURKEY: high-quality virtual instrument provider KV331 Audio is proud to announce availability of SynthMaster One — an easy-to-use wavetable soft synth with an intuitive workflow available in AU and VST formats for Mac OS X and Windows — as of February 27...
SynthMaster One shares the same sound engine as its award-winning big brother, SynthMaster, but boosts it with wavetable synthesis features. Fortunately for fans of wavetable synthesis, SynthMaster One’s simple layout, rich wavetable content, and inspiring factory presets from a world-class crack team of sound designers — including Arksun, Bülent Biyikoglu, Gerçek Dorman, Ufuk Kevser, Rob Lee, Vorpal Sound, Xenos Soundworks, and Aiyn Zahev — makes designing distinctive sounds simplicity itself.
Playlist:
1. Chimera Synthesis BC9 - "A quick demo of BC9. I think this is showing only a fraction of what's possible with this unique device. For one thing I'm not sowing here is that you have an external CV(and trigger) input to modulate all knobs. So you can sequence to other gear. BC9 straight to Roland mobile cube, shot by iphone(built-in mic)"
2. Chimera Synthesis BC9 with SQ1 - "A quick demo of Chimera BC9 sequenced by SQ1. CV signal shared globally by all the knobs and depth is controlled by center green knob. Each knob when modulated by a CV seems to work as offset. Each knob can be switched to be modulated or not via black button."
"A brief test of the Mighty Moon Modular, using two of my 6 main voices, 3 oscillators each, Moog Taurus II's triggering the COTK Oscillator bank in square wave. Running all through a Universal Audio Apollo Quad, RE-201 on the high notes, and Lexicon 224 on the Taurus pedals..."

"I first got the idea to do McElroyMadness, while listening to 'Car Boys' and thinking about how I have wanted to start doing classical arrangements on the channel for a long time. Debussy is one of my favorite composers, so I was pretty convinced this would be a piece that would have to happen. I only did the first section of the song, because I felt it captured what I was trying to convey, and my attempts to continue that feel just didn't play out in a way that I was happy with. Think of it as an interlude before we head into the adventurous finale."
DSI Prophet '08, Moog Voyager XL, and Kurzweil PC3X.
"All Sounds from PreenFM 2. Wanted to do something ambient - turned out somewhat different. Double mimicry insofar as a Synthesizer emulating a DX7 is emulating a 303."
"I just recently reacquired the Moog sound with a Sub 37. It is a fantastic machin that fits my working style perfectly. I thought I'd see if the sound would work with the 0 Coast"
"The Korg Micro Preset is an interesting monophonic preset keyboard, with limited control over its sound generation. It has a 32-note keyboard with 6 push-button presets including voice, synth1, synth2, brass, string, and wood. Presets can be mixed by holding down multiple buttons simultaneously. It is a single-oscillator design and has a decay/release envelope control. Many describe it as a preset version of the Korg MS-10 and it was used extensively by OMD.
This Micro Preset has recently been serviced, is 100% functional, and in very excellent overall condition as you can see. in the pictures. Only a small ding on the wood or it would be perfect!
You'll fall in love with it's simplicity and pureness of sound."
"This one-owner example is in very good cosmetic shape and perfect working order. It includes an orgy of original ephemera and floppy disks, etc, as well as, even the original receipt. There is a small area with paint touch-ups, and it isn't in excellent external condition."
"As you can see I the pics, this vintage, c 1980 moog prodigy is in excellent condition. It has just been serviced and calibrated, and is in 100% perfect working order. Every key, function, knob and switch operates as designed, and they synth sounds...amazing. She's also been retrofitted with cv/gate/trig and audio ins for connecting to your modular system or other boards, as well as individual osc outs AND filter cv control. Super cool in the studio."
Cool yellow and orange retro design. No blue, except for that gig bag.
"Here's the original flyer description:
"A Sound Two Layers Thick
The new Roland EP-6060 Combo Piano gives you two sound sources to play with for a sound that’s two layers thick. Two separate voices that can each be set for Tone (Piano 1, Piano 2 and Harps.), Octave, EQ, and Decay resulting in a sound you can really get your teeth into. Tune the two voices against each other for even more depth. That’s just for starters, the rest includes and Arpeggiator, Split Keyboard, Upper Harmony (for block chording when only one note is played), and a Transpose feature that lets you play a tune in any key at the push of one button."
The original case has a bit of mold spotting on the inside bottom, and the bottom of the keyboard shows a little matching discoloration, but otherwise this unit is in remarkable shape for its vintage.
It's in perfect working order, and all buttons and keys feel as they did when it was new."
"Recorded direct to GoPro external input from headphone out on PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2, adding a little reverb and delay at the mixer. Performed live, in one take, with no overdubs, post production or editing/mixing done afterward.
