Waldorf Blofeld - "Harmony of the Spheres" Soundset

video upload by LFOstore

https://sellfy.com/lfo/

"'Harmony of the Spheres' is a truly remarkable soundset for Waldorf Blofeld synthesizer with 55 exclusive presets created by the well-known sound designer and sound therapist Otto K. Schwarz.

The soundbank is dedicated to the ancient philosophical concept of the harmony of the spheres, also known as Musica universalis. The ancients spoke concerning the musical and mathematical structure of the cosmos. They believed that the movement of heavenly bodies gives rise to harmony, since it is expressed by distances equal to the consonant musical proportions.

In this bank you will find multi-layer pads that take you beyond the event horizon and dissolve into distant outer space; amazing arpeggios that convey the sounds of near-Earth space objects and allow you to enter the unexplored territories of the unknown planets; impetuous leads piercing dark matter with their bright sound frequencies; polyphonic keys, colored by the radiation of the starry sky.

Whether you're creating ambient, soundtracks, EDM or experimental music, this collection of sounds will be at your service!"

Introducing Bundle 2 Reason Rack Extensions: Imitor, Loquelic Vereor, and Manis

video upload by Noise Engineering

"Bundle 2 Reason Rack Extensions are here!
Get yours today: https://bit.ly/3HKBk8W

These rack extensions offer the power of our Eurorack modules with the ease of use in Reason. As Bundle 1 is to classic sounds (percussion, gorgeous synths, reverb), Bundle 2 is to sound design and experimentation.

Imitor is a delay designed for experimentation. With up to 32 delay taps and tons of time and tone parameters, Imitor is perfect for creating unusual echoes and experimenting with different delay shapes and patterns. We love Imitor so much that we use it for everything, from long, evolving echoes to effects like comb filtering, chorus, and flanging. Ask your doctor if Imitor is right for you.

Loquelic Vereor is a complex oscillator built around our interpretations of three classic synthesis algorithms (VOSIM, phase modulation, summation synthesis). Like the Loquelic Iteritas module it’s based on, this Swiss army knife of a synth is capable of a range of sounds that are sure to cut through your mix. Loquelic Vereor opens up incredible sound-design possibilities. Its two oscillators modulate each other for sounds you have never thought possible in a DAW. From outrageous, chaotic sounds to wild drum sounds to drones, basslines, and leads, with Loquelic Vereor, you can have it all.

Manis uses saw waves to realize its unparalleled sound. It can go from gritty and dark to smooth and beautiful with the tweak of a couple of sliders. Use Manis for almost anything from alien percussion and industrial grit to unique melodic parts and otherworldly sounds and sound effects."

MOOG'S Moogerfoogers Back in VST Form

Ty Segall | Frog Meets Fly | Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins
Ty Segall invites you inside Harmonizer Studio, home to his wonderland of custom and vintage instruments. Witness the musician and producer’s creative process as he builds an original composition piece by piece using guitar, bass, electric piano, synthesizer, a mix of percussion, and Moog’s new software effects plug-ins.

In the making of 'Frog Meets Fly,' Ty demonstrates the sonic range and transformative potential of Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins. Using the MF-107S FreqBox to morph metallic percussion into synth voices and imitate 60s-style fuzz tones on the track’s bass line, adding depth to his Rhodes with multiple instances of the MF-108S Cluster Flux, transforming clean electric guitar into alien lead lines via the MF-102S Ring Modulator, and adding vintage-toned delay to his Minimoog Model D with the MF-104S Delay, Ty puts the processing power of these effects on full display over the 15 separate tracks in this arrangement.

"Subjective opinions within, those who do not understand subjective opinion may be excused lol
ALL background music in this video is 100% ME. Check the tracks out in the YouTube Audio Library

I don't have an Arturia MiniFreak, so I did this instead lol. This was a fun video to make, Moog has made a lot of cool stuff, but some of their coolest synthesizers and effects are essentially in the 'been there done that' bin... I really want to see another current run of the 500 series modules and the Spectravox. Moog's modular stuff really hits, but it comes slowly, so fingers crossed for actually seeing any instrument in this video ever again lol.

Here's to me getting an Arturia MiniFreak and Moogerfooger Plugins by Halloween lol

Shoutout to the following creators:

"The Yamaha PSS-270 is from the FM Synthesis line of keyboards.
The audio generation is handled by the YM2413 OPLL chip.
The OPLL is very well documented. Please look here for more information - https://www.smspower.org/Development/...
This chip has direct audio out, no DAC required.
One output is the Main voice out, and the other is the Percussion out.
On this unit, the Percussion and Main are both routed through the chorus unit. The chrous is MN3102 and MN3206, controlled by a fixed LFO. There is no feedback on the chorus. This could be added for a much more flangier effect."

"The Moog Source is a monophonic Z80 microprocessor-controlled analog synthesizer manufactured from 1981 to 1985.

The Source was Moog's first synthesizer to offer patch memory storage. The design was also the first (and only) Moog synthesizer to feature a flat-panel membrane keyboard to replace the standard buttons, knobs and sliders, along with multihued panel graphics that were very different from anything Moog offered at the time.

Arguably the closest sounding to the Minimoog than any other Moog from this era. All functions tested in great working order, membrane buttons operate as expected with smooth operation. Power supply has been completely recapped and calibrated.

"The legendary one-and-only. Pristine completely restored original Arp Odyssey 2800 mki White Face duophonic analog synthesizer from the early 1970's

Sounds incredible and functions perfectly. Much more fullness and more aggressive sonically than the black face and many reissued Korg models.

Fully cleaned, serviced and keyboard reset by the fabulous Switched On synth shop in Austin, TX (original shop that Stranger Things composers Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein worked at).

I put $1200 worth of perfecting this unit and then barely ever used it. Never gigged, has only sat in a nice temperature controlled studio.

This is probably the nicest original early 1970's ARP Odyssey 2800 unit you'll be able to find for sale in 2022.

Forgive these bad photos from a few months ago. The well-lit glamour shot photos and full description of service completed on this will post soon, or just snag this before the sharks get to it.

Nautilus Tutorial 1: Getting Started

video upload by Qu - Bit

"Nautilus is a complex delay network inspired by sub-nautical communications and their interaction with the environment. In essence, Nautilus is a stereo delay consisting of 8 unique delay lines which can be connected and synced in interesting ways. Each time Nautilus pings its sonar system, the generated topography reveals itself through the delay, all while staying in time with the internal or external clock. Complex feedback interactions plunge sounds to new depths, while related delay lines pull fragments of sound in different directions. Manipulate the delay lines even further by configuring the the stereo receptors, sonar frequencies, and aquatic materials that filter the space between Nautilus and its surroundings.

Though Nautilus is a delay effect at heart, it is also a CV/Gate generator. The Sonar Output creates either a unique Gate signal, or a unique CV signal algorithmically generated from Nautilus’s findings. Drive other parts of your patch with pings from the delay network, or use the generated topography as a modulation source.

From the deep ocean trenches, to shimmering tropical reefs, Nautilus is the ultimate exploratory delay network."

Boards of Canada - Roygbiv Cover | Nord Drum 3P Sounds Only | + Novation Launchkey Mk3 & SoftStep 2

video upload by Jannis Le Wolff

"🥁Interested in using those sounds yourself? I just released my first custom sound bank for the Nord Drum 3P, containing the sounds from this video and many others. You can find it here (including previews): https://bsta.rs/515ad0173

You can get 20% off until November 15th by using this Code: THANKYOUENJOY

Also note that all sounds are available as wav files as well, so you can use them even without owning a Nord Drum 3P.

---------

In this video I'm playing Roygbiv from Boards of Canada while only using sounds from the Nord Drum 3P. I used some effects inside my DAW though and also mixed it in the end, applying some EQ and compression.

The whole set is organized in Ableton Live, and I'm also using the Novation Launchkey Mk3 for playing the final synth line and some clip triggering. Intentionally I wanted to play all sounds by "drumming", but the melody had too many variations and notes so it became too complex. As a foot controller I'm using the Keith McMillen Softstep 2. A very fun thing I discovered here was to change the pitch of a pad with a foot controller. This way I could "drum" the bassline, which has 8 different pitches.

I always loved this song and bassline, and I was curious how well it works with the Nord Drum 3P. I really like how the bass sounds in the lower tones, while it gets a little less fat when moving up in terms of the notes you play."

Endorphines #Ghost | Firmware 1.03B & more patch examples

video upload by Cinematic Laboratory

"Just after I finished my Ghost video Endorphines sent me a last minute beta firmware. It's now available on the website and I think it's worth installing. They're just minor changes, nothing to worry about when you don't want to go through the trouble of playing .WAV files into the module. In short:

There's 100% unity gain when you hold ROUTING and turn Tone all the way CCW, and 10x digital gain when you turn it fully CW.
There's make-up gain added when you turn the compressor up (so your volume drop will be compensated).
The Big Knob now better recovers from internal filter changes made by CV.
I think the delay line syncs faster.
The reverb is made more 'lush' with internal LFO changes

I've also been intrigued by Ivan's rumbling kick video (parallel sidechaining) that was just released and the cool side effects of feeding audio rate signals to the sidechain trigger input. I finished this video with an 'acid techno' patch that only involves the Queen of Pentacles mighty kick, Ghost, and some CV. Sweet!

Please support my work on patreon.com/cinematiclaboratory"

Shakmat Modular SUMDIF / playthrough / more than a mid side processor

video upload by BRiES

"In this video I take a closer look at the functionality of SUMDIF by Shakmat Modular. SUMDIF is only 2HP wide and can be used for a lot of things: inverter, averager, buffered multiple, precision adder, mid/side processor, ... .

Besides showing how you can create interesting modulation signals, I walk you through a patch to make supersaws with sumdif (and a comparator) as well. I also demonstrate and explain how mid/side processing works, how to use SUMDIF as a mult and a precision adder. I haven't recorded an example of using SUMDIF as an averager, but just know that it's possible using the A+B outputs (with the jumpers on the back added for a 6dB gain cut)."

Sbranvlztronics Low Frequency Oscillator Sync Test - Analog LFO with Reset on Breadboard

video upload by Unrelated Activities

"Testing a LFO with a synchronization circuit. The idea is to force the LFO triangle wave output to immediately go to zero volt when receiving a positive gate or trigger at a Sync input. When the gate or trigger at the Sync input returns to zero, the triangle wave output must then always restart with an upward ramp. On this breadboard the reset circuit was implemented with a CMOS analog switch, and the sync control is just a wire to activate it."
